  1. BbbbbuuuuuuuuuIiiiiiwaaaaahnuuuuuummnnnnnaaaaaaaah
  2. The Dudes saying a prayer for their camera man, and then pulling off the upset, was awesome. Oh, and we need some juggy pics, ASAP.
  3. That would kill the company. ... I'm all for it.
  4. I don't want to say The Dudes became my favourite team after that, but they're pretty fucking close!
  5. Next Weeks Preview of Miss Juggs looks bounceriffic.
  6. FUCK YEAH! DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODS! That was some drama!
  7. I dunno, it looked like Phil got a kick out of it.
  8. NO! The Dudes! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
  9. Fuck. If Boston Rob doesn't double leg Lynn/Alex, I'm going to be disappointed. Get Survivor on em.
  10. For CTV fans, gotta love the travel commercials.
  11. That's what I figure too. Why else would it be a 2 hour special? Rob and Amber are the top draw, they need to milk it as much as possible. The gay guys in "the wrong side of town" could be an episode unto itself.
  12. I'm getting a total Jami Gertz vibe from Pagentlady.
  13. Oh man, this guy may have just surpassed Jonathan to become KING DOUCHE.
  14. A very special episode of amazing race... Boston Rob confronts his addiction to Boston.
  15. THE DUDES! DON'T DO DRUGS! FUCK YEAH!
  16. Gretchy DOWN!
  17. I dunno if people would go out of their way to see Bobby get his ass kicked as they would for Sam and Josh, though.
  18. Maybe they just wanted to see Koscheck get the shit kicked out of him, and Diego had a tendancy to kick the shit out of his opponents. If Sam and Josh didn't hate each other, they'd make for a fantastic heel tag team.
  19. SWEET! Probably up because it was the pre-mania RAW, but still, it was a great fight and next weeks could be even higher!
  20. I like how even the brothers call each other "baby".
  21. For starters, how about wrestling moves? I mean more than a takedown or an occasional bomb/suplex. You're not going to see bridging suplexes and shit. You don't need a 3 count. You're not going to see irish whip moves, turnbuckle moves, top rope moves, etc. Figurefour Leglock? Sharpshooter? F-5? So matches with no fancy moves can't be considered pro wrestling? I've seen bridging suplexes, I've seen moves that would never be done in pro wrestling and if they were done the crowd would pop huge, there are more strikes and submissions and the suplexes are better as well. You're not watching a scripted show either. I like knowing that it's a scripted show. I like the wrestlers not taking a punch to the face for real so that they can wrestle again the next night instead of having fractured bones. Wrestling has a higher death and injury rate than MMA. "Safety" doesn't really work here, either. And most punches to the face look like shit. You still haven't defined what pro wrestling is. This isn't the first time that you've tried to shill Pride, MMA, etc. in the WWE folder. If people cared, they actually visit the Misc. folder. People should know their options, especially when it comes to prospectively paying $50 for a subpar show. ...and now we've derailed the thread. Because it was actually going somewhere...
  22. You keep telling yourself that. Wrestling fans watch wrestling because it's wrestling. Define Pro Wrestling. MMA and Wrestling share many of the same similarities/appeals, and right now, MMA does all those appeals better. Koscheck/Sanchez last night was a better match than anything on RAW.
  23. It wasn't so much God's doing, as it is God understands how Angle feels cause God watched Jesus die, which is much more of a bitch to say IMO. But, since Shawns' intentions are pure, he won't get boo'd for it. This is a whole grey-area storyline, but what makes it different from Russo-style writing is that it is ring-based. The storyline revolves around the two clashing at WM. Russo never saw matches in that way. I've been to a WM. It was, infact, the first Hogan match I ever saw live. 67,000 fans. "It's Wrestlemania and I'll be there live!" doesn't really register with me as being anything worth being excited about considering WM 18 sucked it hard and felt like a glorified RAW.
  24. Akebono has lost countless K-1 (kickboxing) fights. As long as the WWE is running a storyline-based company, the storylines are wide open. I don't think many people see the potential in storytelling that wrestling can provide, which is a shame, especially when it's the WWE that can't see it. Realistically, the angle can be done, and that's all there needs to be said about that. WOULD the WWE do a storyline like that? Of course not. They clearly have shown an unwillingness for providing depth-in-story and the head of the creative team couldn't write her way out of a shoe box (not to mention the stellar team of writers all are hollywood hacks) and the company itself still isn't able to clearly define what it is in todays television world. Because of this, we will continue getting storylines that wouldn't be fit or up to the intellectual level for Saturday Morning Cartoons, let alone Prime Time cable television.
  25. You are boxing them in when you say "they can't do that". Because of that, we get tired, cliched, angles rather than something fresh. It's a very riskee angle that could either thrive or bomb, but I'd rather see them take a chance than to play it safe. There is actual depth to it. This is where they need to go, because this is where television -their competition- is today and it is what the tv viewer is expecting. The angle they are doing for HBK/Angle is bad. It doesn't make sense; there isn't any truth in it. This is what it is, "In 1996, we were both champions and people compared us". Not to mention they are doing this bi-polar deal where Kurt is goofy and angry at any given moment, and HBK in general can't keep his head straight. The character consistency is severely lacking. The Angle/HBK thing I wrote up there is one of my favourite things I've written, and it took me 10 seconds to think of it, and it was in response to someone saying there was "no way" to have it make sense. There is always a way. It's just a matter of thinking outside of the box.
