  1. I thought Season 3 of Curb Your Enthusiasm was the best one, however I still love Season 4 & 5. In fact, I'd say season 1 was the weakest, at least the first half of season 1.
  2. I don't know if this tidbit is just smark-bait or what, but if it is true this could be the best news thus far to come out of the Sci-Fi television deal. If there is anyone Vince will listen to it is the Network. I am just weary of this because of the part about "The ECW feel" I mean, is this trying to elude to Sci-Fi network execs being familiar with the original ECW product?
  3. Yep, that's very true. Week One - The Main event put over TBS in a big way. Week Two - We saw RVD/Sabu go over Orton/Edge. Week Three - RVD once again went over, this time defeating Kurt Angle...clean. Week Four - Once again, TBS went over huge, beating RVD for the ECW World Title. Week Five - They put TBS over that much more, beating a legend in Ric Flair, clean. The main events have been giving a nice chunk of time as well. Right, not to mention the fact that the original plan for Week 4 was for RVD to beat Edge.....CLEAN, which would have been another good main event with a clean finish.
  4. I think the rating could be heavily attributed to the way the Main event was setup. Whether you like the Big Show and Flair as your main event or not, you have to say that their segment on Raw(including the Foley promo which might have given people the impression he was showing up) was very well done, and then the match itself exceeded all expectations, well at least all expectations that I had for it. The thing is, thus far the one consistent thing on ECW TV has been the main event match, unlike Raw where every main event match goes to a no decision because they are so afraid of over-protecting the "chosen" talent, on ECW we are getting good matches with clean wins that help put over talent and build people. Lets hope Vince sees this as an indication that people want their ECW product more on the authentic side. I really do hope this somehow leads Foley returning to "ECW" as Cactus Jack. Of course it probably won't happen since all the promos are taking place on Raw and not ECW, but it would be nice to see the match on an ECW PPV. Maybe Foley's next promo could be to challenge Flair to an "exteme rules" match. Oh and lets discuss the stupidity of "exteme rules" My biggest beef is of course like the rest of you, that every ECW match should just be "extreme rules" I mean in the old ECW, every match was technically extreme rules and it didn't necessarily turn every match into a blood bath, it would just allow for the little things, like allow RVD to use the VanDaminator, or for someone to simply use a chair shot or a low blow during the course of the match, or the best part, there were no stupid countouts, which allowed for brawling in the crowd and stuff. The thing that makes it stupid is that when they advertise "extreme rules" for a WWE match it makes the assumption that all ECW matches are like that, and then when you tune into ECW you find out that they aren't .
  5. Just a hunch, but it kind of seems like they are planting the seeds for the Foley/Flair match to take place in ECW. Part of me thinks that the match is "too big" for Vince to put in ECW, but another part of me thinks that Vince also thinks sticking it on an ECW show/PPV would be an automatic draw for that show considering how ECW fans would love to see Foley back as Cactus Jack and "defending the ECW name" This week was a definate improvement over last week, and by gosh I actually enjoyed a Big Show match. Oh and I think Sabu's character is supposed to be that he is so "extreme" that he doesn't care to follow the rules. Plus, in the ECW fans' eyes, Sabu is basically immortalized so there is no loss that would really hurt him. You also have to like the way Big Show is being booked, because they are playing it up like whoever beats him, is going to have to do the unthinkable to pull it off.
  6. The Miz could handle himself in an MMA ring, well actually he couldn't, but I'd still like to see him thrown in there against Silva just for shits & giggles.
  7. Honestly, I wouldn't mind Flair winning the ECW belt if it meant him losing it to Mick Foley in the near future, leading to Sabu/Foley match at the December PPV.
  8. My questions about Kelly, is why does it take her five minutes before a single button or zipper is undone? I mean the Kelly segments are what they are and all, but jesus lady, can you please get your clothes off a little faster!?!
  9. I think the fact that on Raw, Heyman said, "I have made my peace with Mick Foley" is an indication that Foley will be showing up to interfere. It works perfect for the forumla Vince has been using, which is to use the ECW Main Event slot, to further a WWE angle.
  10. Well it's nice to see Vince was warming up to RVD due to the strength of his matches. I mean that is hard to believe actually. Also it looks like this suspension is a 30 day setback in what is eventually going to be a huge RVD title push to establish the title.
  11. Boooring.
  12. It's on right now. Damn, I haven't seen this movie in ages. One of the Haim/Feldman duo flicks. Oh and you can't forget Heather Grahm's hotness!!
  13. I'd feel more willing to take out North Korea's leadership if we weren't wasting away a bunch of resources in Iraq. Unless you are of the opinion that all we need to do is simply launch some missles at NK, however I would strongly disagree with a nuclear attack. I guess this is why people have been arguing from the get-go that we wouldn't start a war of choice/convenience(Iraq) because legit troubles might come up.(North Korea)

    SNME

Argh so we will have the next piece in the Hogan/Orton puzzle. Nooooo.
  15. Ok, that is what I figured, but the statement was kind of vague so I thought it might be referring to something other than the drug incident.
  16. Can someone clarify this? What is he talking about? What does he mean by "if he's found out, he's gone" What is he referring to?

  18. Topless pics?
  19. Precisely.
  20. Yes... that and Vince Russo never watched the ECW product and it was no inspiration whatsoever to the Attitude WWF era. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA*deep breath*HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Vince is one major fucking delusional senile old man.

    SNME

Without RVD or Sabu, it basically sounds like a typical Raw or Smackdown. My interest is at an all-time low. Even if RVD was going to lose the belt at SNME, at least he was on the card. Sabu might have been as well, who knows?
  22. Wow, those people sure do have Christ's "love" flowing through them!?!
  23. Thats beeen the thoughts of 75% of the posters here so far, not just Leena. A lot of people here pretty much want ECW gone in one way or another. I don't want ECW to be dead. But, even you bigger ECW fans must realize this new version of "WWECW" is the drizzling shits. It is the drizzling shits compared to the Real ECW,and WCW/WWE from about five or so years ago, but compared to Raw and Smackdown of 2006, I'd say it is on par with those programs, which doesn't mean it is good, but it has it's moments.
  24. Who is "WE"? I don't expect them to do the job perfectly on their third tour of duty, but obviously guys like Bush, Rumsfield, Wolfowitz etc.....think it is no big deal seeing as how shitty they managed to plan the occupation. I think a lot of the left's very argument is that these soliders should not be on their third tour of duty in Iraq and should be HOME. If you listen to a lot of the vocal left such as Murtha, he is essentially saying that because the Soliders have been over there for so long under these shit conditions, without proper equipment and without a clear plan to "win" these types of incidents are going to start happening.
