  1. The classic shirts were the best because they didn't try and go overboard with the logos or surrounding art. Out of these ones, I'd wear #3. #1 aint bad, but I'd take out the "give blood" and make the logo bigger, and on the back I would keep "Extreme Since 1993, but make it in plain white or red lettering in a bigger font. Also, I like how it features a blade for blading, lol.
  2. Why wouldn't it exist Leena? If Vince WANTS ECW to be like we have seen it the past few weeks then why wouldn't it exist? It is getting good ratings, merchandise sells fine. If you are meaning "Lets see if the "ECW" aspect still exists in December" then yeah I understand your point, but currently the "ECW" product is just WWE with a couple of old ECW characters, and Three WWE-esque hosses ready for big pushes(Knox, Big Show, Test) It's apparent Vince doesn't care about what ECW was, but if he can get his tired old hosses on "ECW" and people watch it, whether they are Old ECW fans, New "ECW" fans, or just plain old WWE fans, he will keep "ECW" going as a third WWE show. It seems like your hatred of this fake "ECW" stems more from a hatred or unliking of ECW in the first place(aka The Original ECW), if so that is ok, but just say so. Oh and yeah people WOULD buy a WWECW ppv, but probably not a single fan who already doesn't lust after WWE, so again Vince would be a failure at trying to bring in new fans, or fans that don't already watch his product.
  3. I'm sure he finds it entertaining. It's the only way to explain all the insane crap he puts on TV every week. But, he's stuck in a hard place with ECW. In order to get a significant amount of fans (and from what I gather, what Sci-Fi wanted), he has to put some established WWE guys on the show. But, there's only an hour per week to work with, and no PPV time. And thus only so many true ECW workers he could push. Vince put it all into RVD and Sabu. And they fucked him over big time. I put most of the blame on them for being selfish, for the inevitable quick demise of "ECW". Well the truth in wrestling is usually the TV ratings, and if they can survive this next month not dropping below maybe a 1.5, and then get RVD and Sabu back, then I don't see "ECW" dying just yet. The thing is, it won't really die either way, it is just a question of, will it be more like ECW or WWE by the time the December PPV rolls around, and would anyone be compelled to buy an "ECW" ppv that is basically just a WWE show, but with lesser known guys. Vince could use a marketing lesson or two.
  4. You beat me to it, but yeah, Divx player.
  5. Suggesting RVD has been unprofessional while actively rooting for Orton may have contributed to people's rudeness.
  6. Speaking of old ECW, anyone know of any sites that sell ECW commercial tapes? I have quite the collection of 95-97, but am missing a few gems I would like to get a hold of!!!
  7. http://www.7bamboo.com/video.html You can also access it on winamp tv. I watch every now and again. Some are simply so horrid it is can't miss. This place is in San Jose, CA. It is live at 8pm everynight except Mondays, and before 8pm they just play loops of previous footage. EDIT: It is to be noted it is located right by japantown, so a lot of the clientel is Japanese. I will save the racist japanese/karoake jokes for the rest of the board.
  8. I think Orton is pretty decent on the mic, better then RVD giving live promos in front of crowds, but I also think RVD's promo ability is underrated, he gives some hilarious promos as a cocky heel, when he is given the freedom to do what he does best. The professionalism snide on RVD is hypocrisy coming from someone who thinks Orton should be pushed. Orton is probably underrated in the ring as far as his ability to be CARRIED to a good match, as in, he isn't a total slug or anything, and when he is put in there with someone who can dictate the match Orton will take instruction just fine and go with the match, but if he isn't in there with someone capable of all that, get ready to watch a snoozer.
  9. I am soooo there!!!
  10. Well if the PWInsider hotline is accurate, then it looks like once the next 30 days pass, RVD and Sabu will be heavily pushed again, thank gawd!
  11. Well I am definately late to this thread, but I was too busy yesterday to comment. Yeah the show sucked, and it is going to be an interesting month without RVD and Sabu on the show, considering for the last few weeks they have been the best part of a show that featured AWFUL filler. I kind of would rather have Sabu make his return first and beat the Big Show for the belt, and then have RVD/Sabu feud over it, rather then just have RVD come right back and win the belt. That way someone new gets involved in it. Hopefully this month without RVD can be used to feature someone like CM PUNK, rather then Knox and Test, but unfortunately that probably won't be the case. It is obvious Vince has no grasp of what "ECW" was all about, or how to book an ECW show, at all. I wonder if Vince is doing this out of spite, or if he legit thinks this stuff is entertaining!?! I can't make up my mind either way. Heyman's Turn: I can't come to a decision on what is more lame, the turn itself, or the fact that it is just a Brock Lesnar rehash. This is depressing.
  12. I would LOL, if upon RVD losing the belt, the crowd started chanting "TNA TNA TNA"
  13. I doubt it. I remember watching that episode and there is a 0% chance I was home on the 4th of July watching wrestling. It most certainly was last July 4th when that took place. It sure was because Me, Ced, Darthtiki and Dangerous_A were AT THE SHOW!!!
  14. Yes I know, but that is also why I definately approve of the punishment that RVD and Sabu are going to get, but to up some front like "Seeee this is why Vince didn't want etc etc etc" is such horseshit.
  15. Riiiiiight, because the rest of the lockerroom has Neeeeeeeeeeever had drug problems while holding titles before. What RVD did was just, just unprecidented....uh-huh, bullshit.
  16. Funny they should try to sell Orton as some type of creep for lusting after Brooke, when their very own comedy relief at the play by play table is the REAL THING and WWE Marks cheer for him anyway.
  17. No Running Game and/or Commitment to the running game. Even when the Eagles COULD run the ball, Andy Reid didn't seem to like to do it very much. The Defense in the NFC East is going to be too tough on one-dimensional offenses. I can only imagine what it will look like when McNabb is forced to call 20 playaction passes in a row, as the defenses stop biting on it after the 3rd attempt. Actually Reid has already said he will be commited to rushing the ball more, to relieve stress off his new WR core. Westbrook and Moats is a good RB core, and would cause problems for alot of defense. Coming off a serious injury, I except the smart IQ of Andy Reid to relieve stress off McNabb and allow the runningbacks to do some work for him so he can be the old McNabb. I won't deny, Duce Staley's running had alot to do with McNabb's success. Andy Reid knows this. Redskins yes have added some offensive weapons to their attack. But in order to be an actual "Superbowl" winning team, they need to just let Burnell go, and let the new gun, Jason Campbell take them to it. I know Brunell is going to get injury, and Campbell will have to step in and prove he's better then oldflolk Mark. Randle El was the Steelers 3rd string WR, and Lloyd while made some nice catches, isn't a smart WR at all. Eagles will win the divison, and McNabb and Jim Johnson's defense will lead them there. Randle El will only be the 3rd string WR for the Redskins as well. Brandon Lloyd will be a solid #2 and don't forget how this will open up more for Santana Moss who last year found ways to get open with all the coverage shifted towards him. Also, don't forget Chris Cooley who will thrive in Al Saunders offense, as well as the Tight End signed from The Patriots, The Redskins Defense will probably be just as good if not better. They lost Arrington, but that guy as great as he CAN BE, has become injury prone and screws up on the field once for every "spectacular" play he makes. The signings of Archuleta will strengthen an already deep Safety position. Andre Carter should also improve the pass rush vastly, which was the ONE weakness in the Skins defense last season. The Redskins offense is just too loaded to deny that they have the potential to be great. Plus lets not forget, in the playoffs last year they were without Randy Thomas who is Portis's main setup guy on his strongside sweeps. Al Saunders is also one of the most quiet underrated aquisitions of the offseason. Imagine now if you can conceive it, a Chiefs Offense, with a Top 10 Defense to compliment them!!!
  18. If that is honestly how you feel, they seriously the coaches need to be fired. I mean I remember when Gibbs pulled Ramsey for Brunell in Week 1, and the fans and media went crazy because of how bad an injured Brunell played in 2004, and Gibbs didn't give two shits what the media said, and assured the fans he was doing what was best for the team. Well you know the rest, all the way to the Divisional Round of the Playoffs. Gibbs is a great goddamn coach.
  19. At this stage in Sabu's career, I find it hard to believe he would care about the direction a company was going, as long as he was getting paid. I mean, he does all sorts of indy shows on a per show basis. It just seems at this stage he would be happy with a solid paycheck, and the fact that he is one of the top guys of his show.
  20. So the ECW tapings are live, all by themselves tomorrow? People are expected to pay for a ONE HOUR show?
  21. Well according to the www.ecw.com page, the match tommorow is for BOTH belt(s) so I guess that Edge still have something to gain by winning, while RVD will try to become a dual champ again. It will be interesting to see how the match plays out.
  22. Hey, being an RVD fan, I personally have no problem with Vince punishing RVD, he deserves it. As long as Vince is serious about this and he doesn't look the other way when other guys abuse the drug policy. I am still interested if Vince is taking this policy serious, or just with workers/wrestlers he considers indisposable.
  23. Yeah well how important is RVD winning the belt though if he is just going to job it at SNME.
  24. Actually that would be a good idea. Hot shot the title back on RVD, so it gives people a reason to watch ECW on Sci-Fi. Am I the only one that notices Cena is basically a combination of Stone Cold and the Rock? At least the WWE tries to make him to be. His entrance to the ring is exactly like Austin, with his wearing his hat and sometimes occasinally camoflaughe, shorts. His gimmick moves in the ring are a rip off of the Rocks people's elbow and rock bottom. Randy Orton got no reaction tonite to an angle that does have some promise. Thats sad. I'd say the chance for RVD to win back the title would be a bigger draw, then Edge having a chance to win the title. Plus hopefully every smart mark worth his ass, who knows about the RVD/Sabu situation will tune in tomorrow to see if there any seeds planted tomorrow night as to what the near future holds for Sabu and RVD. I guess the real question though is if the title match is still on, or if Edge winning tonight makes the match null and void all together. I guess we will have to keep up with wwe.com or ecw.com to see if the match is still on.
  25. Suuure, only if they intend on Cancelling ECW after this Tuesday's show. Imagine RVD and Sabu showing up to TNA, there would go any chance of the "ECW" brand drawing away fans from TNA.
