One of the main concerns always lost in the minimum wage argument is the fact that inflation is outgrowing the true value of the dollar. That is the main problem, not so much that wages themselves are low, but the fact that inflation is not slowing down anytime soon, thus trying to make the dollar stretch that much more is nearly impossible. Also like I said before, when a place like Wal-Mart pays so poorly that it's workers still need state assistance and state healthcare, how is that helping a local government at all? The burden of Wal-Mart's business practices is being pushed to the tax payers, we as the taxpayers basically are the ones that keep a place like Wal-Mart in business because by paying our taxes we allow Wal-Mart the ability to fuck over it's workers.

Hey now, a vampire that can work a decent match I would be down for, but simply throwing a guy out there dressed as a vampire for the sake of saying "Look Sci-Fi execs, a Vampire...." Also, people have got to acknowledge the conditions under what Heyman is trying to do. He can't just simply do what he wants because he isn't the boss anymore, but if he can get Vince to compromise enough, then what Heyman can do is show Vince where he is wrong and where Heyman is right via the booking of the show, and what the fans will react negatively and positively to. I know, I know, when it comes to Vince he will simply brush the fans aside in order to entertain himself, but I think Vince will listen to Sci-fi execs and the ratings, and if Heyman has any type of communication with them now, or in the future, the pressure could transfer to Vince to allow Heyman more creative control over "ECW" Remember, thus far Sci-Fi execs have seemingly enjoyed the harder-edged material on the show.

Well also you might think of it like this. Wal-Mart was once probably thought of as a stepping stone job that a high-school or college student would work until the graduated, but since a lot of manufacturing jobs and tech jobs have left, people are left with places like Wal-Mart as a career, rather then one link in the chain. It's not like Wal-Mart is the only one, I mean if you drive on any major interstate highway these days, you will see that every 20-30 miles of road, you will get the same REPEAT of the exact same big box top stores, whether it is Wal-Mart, Kohls, Target, etc etc etc....Wal-Mart seems to get singled out a lot, but they aren't the only ones. I think they also did a study and it found that a lot of Wal-Mart workers still have to collect some type of government assistance, whether it be welfare, food stamps or some type of health insurance, in order to make ends meet, so all this nonsense about "If Wal-Mart leavs, jobs leave" is just that nonsense. It actually costs local and state governments a lot of money for Wal-Mart to keep it's workforce working at low wage and shit benefit rates because these people end up going to the state for help, which costs the taxpayers. So who ends up subsidizing Wal-Mart for paying so shitty and not giving health benefits? I know out here in Sacramento they want to put a big Target in the middle of our downtown, where right now it features stores you don't find in other places, a lot of unique-brands, so yeah if the Target moves in, sure people will come to work there, because they probably just lost their job at the store that had to close down to make room for Target.

I have a Toshiba 46" Widescreen TV. I have an HDMI port in the back, but I also have these two other ports called HD COLOR STREAM 1 & 2. So if I bought an HD-DVD Player, which would be the best port to use?

Did you guys hear about the Wal-Mart in Canada, I believe it was Toronto, where the workers voted to unionize, so when it passed overwhemingly by the workers, the Wal-Mart closed shop and left.

My last job, you got two tens and an hour lunch. I was the only person in my department that was there till five, which was good in some ways, but the problem is, I was the type of person who never even took a first break before lunch and would save it till the end of the day to take a twenty min break. So because I was the only one there, managers from different departments would complain to my manager that I was taking long breaks and/or not working once he left the office. I explained the situation to my boss, but he was a pussy when it came to confrontation, so naturally the situation escalated, and that is one of the petty reasons for which I am no longer working there.

If they really use that excuse on why the ratings dropped I will be a bit surprised. There's no way in just a short few hours of leaving for the hospital that many people would tune out of Raw just because those 3 are there. You'd think the ratings would drop because people are SICK of seeing the same shit on Raw every week for the past 3 months. Well that is the LOGICAL approach, but when was the last time Vince and Co. used Logic in their approach?

So when does the Chainsaw Awards air? I hope this is some legit Horror Awards show and not something that is going to celebrate the latest Mega-Teen Star Horror flicks. Back in the day they used to air the Horror Hall of Fame annual awards show and it was the shit.

Lets also not forget that it is probably harder to work within the 60 minute time contraints when you have a live show. With the old ECW, it was an hour show as well, however they got to pick and choose the best segments from their house shows to air on TV. A live one-hour show is proving to be a daunting task to get things over to the audience. Also another point on the "extreme rules" thing, was it just me or did it seem like right after Balls Mahoney was DQ'd he had a shocked look and said to the referee, "whaaaat, this is ECW?!" kind of like he didn't understand the DQ. This could mean absolutely nothing of course, or it could be because the "extreme rules" thing is eventually going to end. It could just be Heyman throwing this stuff into the show, just in case, down the road, he can convince McMahon to end the "extreme rules" thing. The show last night was pretty good. More storylines are developed, and it looks like next week will actually be loaded with ECW-material.

I wonder if there is a shot that they hot shot the title to Sabu, so he can feud with RVD for the title when RVD returns. I mean they are already planting the seeds that Sabu is no one to mess with, with Heyman's promo with The Big Show where Heyman was trying to talk Show out of accepting a match with Sabu, also as the show closes as Big Show wants Sabu and Heyman has a face on that is thinking "Dammit no way I can talk Big Show out of it now" Of course, they might save it for Summerslam...how far away is Summerslam? I am just hoping that Sabu wins the title to set up RVD's return.

But Baldo still whooped on him in impressive fashion, in a manner many didn't think he could. Not many other champions have done much else this year just yet (aside from Pacquiao), so when combined with the victory over Judah, Baldo's praise for what he's already done this year is well earned. Yeah well sometimes commentators are stupid. I mean they were making a huge deal that Baldomir had 9 losses and 6 draws, but he still had 40+wins. Also, I can't stress enough the difference it makes on some fighters when they fuck around with moving up and down in weight. Not everyone can handle the transition. Well also, lets not make bones about what Arturo Gatti is, he is a B-level club fighter that has a lot of heart and can brawl his ass off, but other then that is he really anything special? He is the guy who can always win the preliminary fight to get the Championship Fight, but then gets school in that very bout every time.

Being able to obtain shit weed opposed to straight wall-sticking chronic also has a lot to do with the level of dealer you are buying from. I personally, was a witness to my Girlfriend's brother climbing the ranks as a dealer. When he first started out in his mid-teens, it was considered good to get a hold of some DOJA, nowadays that would be considered a poor-man's marijuana to his standards. A lot of it has to do with how long you have been selling, because longer you have been, the more likely you are to aquire more contacts, and then you start going over your original suppliers head to get better stuff and a larger quanity.

They feature original series and Sports programming such as Boxing and Wimbeldon. The rest, Cinemax, Starz, Encore are more just for movies, but then you also have Encore theme channels such as, WAM, Romance, Mystery etc...and then Starz has Comedy, Black, Family etc... Personally, I have Dish Network with the Everything Pak, so I get all of them. I watch HBO & Showtime the most and if money got tighter around here, those would be the networks I would choose to keep.
