Is this "crystal song" the Prelude? X-2 wouldn't be the first FF not to have it. Uematsu wrote it, and he did no music for the game, there's no reason for it to be in there.

I've never been impressed with the two composers that worked on it. 1000 Words orchestrated version is awesome, it's hard to believe the same people wrote it listening to the rest of the soundtrack. There are a few decent ones, like the opening piano theme, but crap, the battle music is bad.

Besides the songs, the FFX-2 OST is pretty awful.

MTV said they won't have Daria on DVD because the ones that are already out haven't sold well. And The Tick live action is on DVD...

Jericho using it for Trish would rule.

I had to do a review on Fast Food Nation a few weeks ago. Not that my reading the book is the reason, but I try to avoid all fast food places now. There are tons of other restaurants around here, so why have the same fast food all the time? And what about Der Weinershnitzel?

I always thought it was called the "garbage stomp."

I didn't say it was, but giant robots suck. That sentence makes me feel like crying now. I don't get how Xenogears is a dissapointment but Saga is not...XS has nothing XG doesn't. I didn't care about XS's characters enough, and the gameplay was pretty shallow. Baten Kaitos looks interesting, it doesn't look revolutionary, though. But at least it's another oppurtunity to get a masterpiece of a sountrack from Sakuraba.

Xenogears is much more of a love story than FF8 is, and it makes more sense, too. Saying it's just giant robots is dumb.

Mystery Science Theater 3000 has some episodes where the movie is too bad to be enjoyed, but more often than not it's one of the funniest things ever. It's impossible not to have this in the top 5. Mr. Show is sickeningly overrated, most sketch comedies are more miss than hit, but this one is mind boggling. Kids in the Hall is better, and a few early Python stuff, as well. Most of the popular comedies like Friends and Seinfeld are even worse, I don't get how people can still laugh at that typical sitcom crap. A few traditional sitcoms like I Love Lucy and Three's Company are good shows, though. There are shows like The Tick, Andy Richter, The Critic, and more which could have been up for contention had they lasted longer. Family Guy was only 3 seasons but I think it can still be one of the funniest ever. And of course Simpsons is there.

If the suing themselves part is about the Simpsons thing... that was a fake story Groening made up.
