I'll be buying the Affliction show for sure, mainly because I can watch the undercard for free on TFN and then head right into the show. Plus, any show with Matt Lindland on it gets my money*. *Money is paid in the hope that he loses in a humiliating fashion

Brazillian website Tatame (who've been proven as pretty reliable in the past) said that Dana offered Vera a Lyoto fight for this show and he turned it down.

Cramer, for what it's worth was supposed to be on the show but fractured his collarbone in training. I think Amir's UFC career is going to be dependant on how he looks Saturday night. If he looks good they'll keep him around but if he loses I could see him being sent down to WEC to develop his skills because the guy, for all his talent has zero pro fights and Dana could/would catch some heat for giving the guy main card fights when the MW division needs sorting out.

So long as GSP can outwrestle Koscheck (which he can) I don't see what Josh has in his arsenal that can threaten GSP. Also, is the TUF Finale going to be 2 or 3 hours long? Main card is 5 fights and I don't see UFC with commercial breaks fitting that into a 2 hour time frame.

So Affliction has booked MEGADEATH to perform at this show. Not as good as Busta Rhymes at the EliteXC show but hey, it fits the image.

Yeah, I was thinking last night "Man, it'll be some bullshit if CB pulls this off after getting tapped". I am stoked to see Fisher and Stephens throw down, should be a doozy. Hopefully we get some quick finishes because nothing would make my night more then seeing McLovin' take out Burkman.

That's part of their charm. If they started sounded remotely civilized it would take away a huge chunk of the appeal. Nate's comments about homosexuals on TUFV were a prime example of that. Sure, he could've made it sound pretty but laying it out by saying "If you're gay then you're gay but these guys are acting gay when they're not" is so much better.

I honestly think "This is a war to me and we have a serious situation on our hands now" might be one of the best fighter quotes ever. Seriously, that shit sounds like it was spoken by an actor playing something military-related in a Jerry Bruckheimer movie.

To be fair Dana supposedly had a source within the NYSAC that said it was a lock that MMA would be given the green light and from what I've heard about the Senate session itself there was a bunch of last-minute changes from yes to no votes.

Kevin Burns, who made a splash with his triangle choke over Roan Carneiro at UFC 85 will be taking on Anthony 'Rumble' Johnson at the July event. Card so far looks like... Anderson Silva vs James Irvin Brandon Vera vs Reese Andy Frank Edgar vs Hermes Franca Jake O'Brien vs Cain Velasquez Kevin Burns vs Anthony Johnson Not too bad but nothing shy of GSP/Fitch being bumped to this card is going to make me miss Fedor/Sylvia.

If we go down the road of "Wings are a meal on their own" that's a slippery slope as there are a few other items on that list that could qualify as a meal on their own.

Silva will be champion regardless of the result. I imagine it's expected that his next fight after will be defending the title, possibly in the fall against the winner of Cote/Almeida.
