I don't like Sylvia but I'm even less of a Mir fan. More or less the MMA definition of Downhill Career. I'd be willing to wager if Sylvia wins this Mir is done with UFC. I still haven't forgiven Mir for his shitfest of a fight with Big Dan at UFC 61.
It pisses me off when they do that on TV/movies because that doesn't happen in real life.
Do you mean that people never do it in real life or the physical effect doesn't happen in real life?
Screwjob or not, I have no qualms about Emerson going buh-bye.
1) He wasn't going to win anyways
2) He's a douche
3) He's quite the bag of douche
4) From the OC
Franklin vs Okami is totally marketable. This is the most definitive #1 Contender fight they've had in the MW division in quite some time. Franklin has his road back to the title and one of the only guys to defeat the guy who whooped him (albeit by DQ) is standing in his way. They can also play up the fact that Swick was being touted as a challenger to Franklin and Okami stopped him cold.
UFC, of course, will not use any of these ideas.
The thought occurred to me that Rosseau's plans for the dynamite may have to do with the gunpowder surrounding Jacob's house or the actual destruction of the house itself.
I think Jacob can manifest the smoke monster as a physical form of himself. In season one Locke stared it down and Jacob realized that Locke could help save him/set him free. Something on the island is preventing Jacob from reaching his full potential, hence the "Help me" he gave to Locke. When Ben was a child Jacob manifested himself in the form of Ben's mother, which prompted Richard to realize that Ben was special and recruit him to his crew.
And I was fucking shocked when I checked IMDB and found that Annie wasn't played by the girl from Little Miss Sunshine.
Fuck, I read a spoiler re: the finale I didn't want to read. Fucking hell.
Meanwhile, I don't need any kind of elaboration, just a simple yes or no answer to this spoiler for those who know about the finale:
And just to keep the Couture Express rollin' Dana announced that The Natural will be the first ever mixed martial artist to make the cover of Sports Illustrated. Possible cover headlines.....
"Runnin' shit at Forty-Plus"
"Better then whatever athlete you idolize"
"Hey, Tim? Fuck you"
