EC at The Rumble seems like too much in one place. The Rumble itself is a big enough sell and taking all of the top RAW guys out of the match may not work. I don't have any faith in the SD crew delivering any memorable moments on the show if they're left to anchor the Rumble.

HHH isn't an idiot and methinks after seeing the way the crowd has taken to Batista in the last few weeks he may seriously be reconsidering his plan to make himself Flair and make Orton the new Sting at WrestleMania. Now, HHH as Flair and Batista as Vader on the other hand..........

I was joking around but the concept of Jack being an abortionist is pretty good. Though Locke eating the fetus ala Christopher Reeve on South Park does carry a certain amount of panache to it.

If Cena was working with Benoit, Flair, Michaels, Jericho and HHH for the last 8 months he'd be 10x the wrestler Orton is by now.

Locke wants to kill Claire's baby and harvest it's delicious stem-cells so that if they ever get rescued he can walk again.

I only saw bits and pieces of this weeks preview because my annoying father was talking while I was trying to watch. I remember seeing Hurley say "We've gotta find out who did this to her" which makes me think that something more serious then nightmares is happening with Claire. I'm calling self-mutilation on this one.

Gotta love the 3-pronged way in which they fucked over the fans last night: 1) Ok, so the Battle Royal isn't for the World Title. But the winner will be get a world title shot later in the night. 2) Ok, so there wasn't a definetive winner in that match. So we'll have a triple threat match and THEN there will be a decisive winner. 3) Wait, sorry, we can't have a decisive winner in the triple threat match either. Vince must hate Baltimore with a passion for you to get that level of screwy booking. It's also become glaringly obvious that the fans would rather see Batista vs HHH for the World Title at this point rather then Orton vs HHH, which means they'll have to push Orton extra-hard in these coming weeks.

So, is this going to be a two-hour battle royal? Or are the wrestlers going to work seperate matches and still compete? Is it going to be done Royal Rumble-style or everybody in the ring at the same time? Probably not that way, so I see guys like Richards, Venis, Tomko, Dean etc. lasting under a minute before they're tossed.

A MOD should just combine this and Coffey's RAW Discussion Thread, as they're both going to lead to the same discussion. HHH wins tonight, of course. I do find it weird that Orton didn't get the last show but that doesn't really mean much.

Do you mean by the objectivity shown by non Ric Flair wrestling fans? Isn't that being a little hypocritical? Flair marks have difficulty in dealing with the fact that he has sucked on many, many occasions.

That'll be a true test of Flair's longevity: When an objective group of wrestling fans (which Ric Flair fans are not) can get together and not be bombarded with "Greatest of All Time" comments and take a good look at exactly what he did and how much it meant.
