After buying the original of Foley's 'Have a Nice Day" I noticed the other day my buddy had the paperback version of the book. I got excited because I had never read the bonus chapter before. In the chapter, Foley mentions about a conversation he had with his wife before his Wrestlemania 2000 match saying that he wasn't going to sell because of "philosophical" differences he had with one of the competitors in the match. Was it ever revealed which guy he had the problems with? My guess would be Big Show but i'm not exactly sure why. He always seemed to put Hunter over quite well and it appeared he got all of his problems out of the way with Rock. Any ideas?

For anyone watching the Phillies game tonight, did you notice those 2 guys in the crowd eating the hotdogs? They had a makeshift scoreboard set up and they would each try to eat one dog an inning. They were tied at 10 in the 10th so I don't know who ended up winning.

Typically it depends how i'm feeling. If i'm lazy, in a rush, and a friend says we are going out and he will be here in 5 minutes, I put on my Blue Jays hat (black one) a regular t-shirt, tommy jeans, and reebox flip flops. If i'm going out to a bar i'll usually wear a button up shirt or a white or black golf shirt with everything else mentioned above (minus hat) I used to hate wearing shorts because I would look incredibly gay with regular shoes and socks but ever since I got the flip flops i'm usually wearing the khaki shorts. Edit: Can't forget my pretty expensive Roots watch ( Birthday present, Would never spend 200 bucks on a watch with my own money) and a cheap 10 dollar necklace from Bootlegger.

So I downloaded the footage of this match from DVDR the other day and I was horrified. I'd always read about this incident and seeing the footage for the first time and it's pretty goddamn brutal. Vader is clearly pissed off the entire match and just stiffs the fuck out of this poor guy. The chokeslam and bomb were the most brutal from Vader i've ever seen. Vader doesn't even touch the guy as he is pinned down and appears to be checking him out and feeling a bit remorseful immediately after the match. Anyone ever see this? Thoughts? I'm not exactly sure of the rules in regards to posting video links but if i'm allowed, maybe i'll post a rapidshare or a yousendit later in the day.

This is a few days after the derby but it seems to me the reason this got boring so fast is because Detroit doesn't have anything exciting in the seats. What I mean is...they don't have any major 2nd, 3rd, or higher decks that a player could hit a ball into and go "WOW". The derby is much more interesting at parks with stuff to hit in the outfield, or multiple decks to hit the ball into. Just my theory though.

I remember this episode. Mick Foley said in his book that the meeting before the night pretty much did away with all the cartoonish characters. I wasn't really fond of the Melanie Pillman appearance but that's Vince. I remember reading somewhere that Hunter was actually supposed to pin Bret in this match (why?) but Bret lobbied for a countout instead.

I also have to give props to the NHL and PA who are STILL apparently dotting the i's and crossing the t's and have been meeting nonstop since TUESDAY AT NOON. That's almost 24 consecutive hours.

I agree with that. I've fell even more in love with Baseball the past year but I have a feeling that once the first week of the nhl season is back, a lot of us will be forgetting that this lockout ever took place.
