Yeah, it's everything you need (I need it for the iPod, as well). I deposited $20 and I'm happy so far.
  8. I was just about to click back to the sports forum until I came across that Google ad at the top of the thread. Umm... See Kwame Brown play live Lakers Tickets - Lakers News Lakers Rumors - Lakers History www.losangeleslakersonline.com Yeah.
  9. So far, I'm satisfied with the little things (keeping opponent on-screen while player makes an entrance, nuances with how Kane and HHH act), but I haven't got into a longer match due to a few factors. First, the control scheme. The configuration is going to take a little while to get used to (left analog to walk, right analog + right bumper to initiate a grapple). Also, if anyone stumbles upon the control to irish whip an opponent, or pick up an opponent off the mat, let me know.
  10. He's burned his bridge with TNA, which stems from a few things listed above. Meltzer with a note:

  12. Yeah it makes perfect sense to stay in kayfabe backstage in front of all of the wrestlers. He was talking about on-air during Batista's return episode of SD. So yes, it does make perfect sense. That was not on-air.
  13. Thirty minutes of SportsCenter and still no coverage of anything else. They've played the entire Owens interview twice already.
  14. One of the talking heads at ESPN said the 911 call could be released as early as tonight.
  15. He was on borrowed time regardless.
  16. From eBay: "Some states have laws against reselling tickets for events inside the state for more than face value. However, you can legally buy and sell tickets without restrictions in most states. eBay permits nationwide ticket sales and manages sales in a way that accommodates all state ticket resale laws and encourages lawful transactions." So a criminal law is out of the question. But, if they just use it as a binding agreement, they could force all consumers into protecting the value. Sony would argue that they're not preventing anyone from resale at face value, and their legal stance would be strengthened if this agreement was endorsed by eBay themselves. But how do you prevent bidding that happens to drive it over face value? The market value on eBay is determined by the demand by shoppers, because there's always enough idiots that'll pay $1000+ just to have it at launch.
  17. I think much of the added anger comes with TNA and their lack of a drug policy. Call the WWE's 'wellness policy' anything you want, but it has resulted in suspensions and people waking up about their addictions. Guys have been sent home, sent to rehabilitation, with the last resort being an outright release. On the other end, TNA has no such policy and are using wrestlers out of the Monday Night War-era now with no limitations on anything they prescribe for pain. Look at a guy like Shane Douglas who survived, and it honestly seems that he was the only one who cared about Shane Douglas when he admitted himself into rehab. Hardy and Raven were beyond fucked up, too.

Signing Bonzi to anything more than a one-year deal is a bad move for the Bobcats. Maybe if he was more of the leader type, not a guy that could potentially stunt the growth of a Morrison or Dunleavy. Nevertheless, if the Bobcats are looking at him as a short-term solution until their team shakes out, I can buy it.
  19. STUPID FUCKING CARDINALS.
  20. And again, those three got money from WWE that they would never get from TNA. For a fact, Foley and Benoit were bowled over by what the WWE had offered to sign them. Until TNA can throw money around (which would entail the task of making a profit first), they're still not a option to most WWE workers who may want out.
  21. Let's again encourage accompanying your pick with funny images through the aid of Google or your preferred search engine. Also, if you haven't already, join the roto league!
  22. --Chris Farley, by himself, in that 'Little Women' parody is hysterical. --Phil Hartman as Bill Clinton on a morning jog through McDonalds. --The first Presidential debate between Bush (Ferrell) and Gore (Hammond). It's on my iPod. I don't know if it's my memory or what, but I have a hard time recalling anything besides the ones already mentioned. Perhaps it's because the writing has always been shaky, but it's just the performers (and the way they deliver the lines) that made a sketch great. And even then, mostly everything is forgettable. Years of Hartman, Farley, Sandler, Ferrell and none of us can recall more than a few key sketches - and most of those tanked anyway.

  24. He was a midcarder who didn't draw a dime to that point. He was also on the brink of being released before a few people stepped in for him. Let's get serious here.
