    2007 NFL Playoffs

Colts by 4. Cowboys by 7. Patriots by 10. Eagles by 6. Edited the Colts game.
  2. Here's another "name that Playstation game" from an OPSM demo I played long ago, simply because this has been stuck in my head for hours now: You were cast as a protagonist that cruised around dim-lit streets in police vehicles. I don't know if you were actually an officer or not, but you did chase around criminals. It was a futuristic cop game, but it definitely wasn't "G Police", since it was an all-aerial game. One thing it boasted was these sick graphics that were pretty advanced for the time ('98-'99) Any ideas?
  3. Notre Dame/LSU had to be a marquee match-up for the BCS. ND/Wake and Louisville/LSU does nothing for most of the country.
  4. Geez, I haven't seen much of what Russell has done besides the fumble and the big run, but Quinn is definitely hurting his draft stock with this game so far.
  5. He has recovered quite well from being a freshman kicker in a nationally televised game, no?
  6. Chris Myers, you fucker.
  7. "We ran it against Idaho, and it was good.". That's awesome.
  8. Fucking hook-and-ladder, quarterback in motion and Statue of Liberty. And they score on all three plays.
  9. They should kick. Don't blow the game here. But hey, I could be wrong.
  10. They should kick. Don't blow the game here. But hey, I could be wrong.
  11. ZABRANSKY IN MOTION...AND WHAT THE FUCK. Their o-coordinator has some balls.
  12. HOLY FUCK!!!!
  13. PHI/BUF/NO/HOU/DET/CHI/KC/MIA/TEN/NYJ/CIN/SEA/STL/SD/SF/13
  14. Marcus Giles to the Padres in a one-year deal, with club option for 2008. Surely the Braves could've worked out a deal that would've moved him to the Padres anyway and got something in return.
  15. I'll also be rooting heavily for the Chargers by way of proximity, since the Niners are out. Then again, there's a Hawaii connection to a few teams out there: Jags (Manuwai), Bears (Kreutz), Broncos (Elam) and Falcons (Lelie and Forney), but I wouldn't admit more than a slight rooting interest in those teams.
  16. Too tired to make all the picks, so I'll grab the Giants and complete the picks later this morning.
  17. The Nets lost to the Rockets...by TWENTY-FIVE. I'm speechless.
  18. If it's a foul on Carter on that previous play, it should've been a foul on somebody on that second play. The Nets bench were off of their seats before Carter even took that shot.

    NFL Week 16

Hey, this is a transition year for the Niners. Wins and losses this year are nearly meaningless with the amount of cap room they'll have going into next year. They'll be a completely different team next season.
  20. No one cares about the game. The derby and the slam-dunk contest are the feature attractions of their respective weekends. Give us a field-goal challenge or something of the sort on Saturday night and people will care for those two days. I've been at a few Pro Bowl and Hula Bowl games where the "Punt, Pass & Kick Challenge" with teenagers elicited more of a reaction from the crowd than the game itself.

    Larry Brown

You know, I recently started watching ESPN again...it was fun while it lasted. But really, he needs to stay away from the coaching position for a few years. Have him go back to college ball or something. The Sixers could really be something in two or three years and a media magnet as their coach is a detriment. Now what was wrong with Jim O'Brien again?
  22. --9-Time All-NBA Defensive First Team (1987-88, 1988-89, 1989-90, 1990-91, 1991-92, 1992-93, 1995-96, 1996-97, 1997-98) --NBA Record for most appearances on the All-Defensive First Team (9) --3rd All-Time in Steals per game (2.63) --2nd All-Time in Total Steals (2,514) --All-Time NBA Playoff record for most steals (376) --All-Time NBA record Blocked Shots by a guard (893) --5th All-Time NBA Playoff leader in assists (1,022) And on a side note, a complementary player in Pippen: --Member of the NBA All-Defensive Team from 1991-2000 (First Team seven times) --NBA record for most career assists for a forward. --NBA record for most career steals for a forward.
  23. I can see why the Nuggets made the trade, but at the same time, I don't see how the team falls into place when Smith and Melo come back. Iverson is going to have to do a hell of a lot to create shots for the spot-up shooters at the 2 and 3. The two first-rounders are supposedly both 2007 picks, which is good news for the Sixers. Get Joe Smith off the books at the end of the season and use that money now. EDIT: The picks are the pair of first-rounders that the Nuggets had for the upcoming draft.
  24. Probably THE Bill Goldberg, since he did a couple UFC's in the past. He actually wasn't that bad if you can believe it. He also did commentary for the WFA PPV in July.
