<{POST_SNAPBACK}> 1. They wear a suit and tie to the NBA draft; in fact, they actually look forward to that. In a professional setting, with their parents, coaches and friends all looking on in anticipation of seeing their career decided. The future players have no complaints. 2. They wear a suit and tie when sitting on the end of the bench with an injury. If it means that much to support the team and the league by lending advice to the other players as a coach would, the NBA'ers are happy to do it. Again, no complaints. Do you see a difference between the "professional" setting and "casual" setting of the league? Who gives a rip if they're wearing a throwback jersey when they're coming off of the bus? In what professional setting are headphones allowed to be worn AT ALL?

Just to voice my opinion - yes, the dress code should be in effect, just severely scaled down. If the dress code is limited to press conferences and players not in uniform sitting on the bench, I'm all for it. The additional rules implemented are ridiculous and hypocritical.

If you're listening to Stephen Jackson as the voice of the NBA...god damn. ...and yes, there's a precedent for ignorant statements young AND old when it comes to the history of the NBA, so please no "high school attitude" argument.

You also don't work wearing a basketball jersey, do you? People who work wearing jerseys, using jerseys while not on the court....BLASHPEMY!

In all fairness, Jeter/Cappotelli for the title can be construed as a blowoff, anyway. I don't think Heyman was thinking of booking them together past the title match - there are too many feuds for Jeter to be anchored down to a program that has hit its peak. Bringing up the Bashams together was fucking with OVW. This, however, is more to get Mizanin out there with the public than to rip Cappotelli from Heyman. They'll still do their OVW commitments, probably spending more of their team there than on the main roster .

Spike giving TNA it's first Prime Time Special
Fökai replied to Dangerous A's topic in TNA Wrestling
Long explanation cut short, no. The logistics of creating a show, live or taped, isn't worth the trouble of taping a second RAW or Smackdown, pulling the roster off of their regular touring dates (RAW: Friday-Monday; SD: Saturday-Tuesday). Although, the ticket advance on house shows are doing terrible anyway, so he might just scrap a house show or two and do a double taping on either night. I think USA would give him the timeslot; they're currently airing Law & Order reruns and The Jackal in that timeslot on 11/3. -
I'm uploading the file for you, Bobbo. I think Bob's behind a school firewall that won't allow him to torrent - I had the same problem.

Flair's promo was unbelieveable. Fuck, we're just living in his world when it comes to promos.

hxxp://www.megaupload.com/?d=W5D512W0 Don't say I don't love you guys... Tonight's episode of HIMYM, capped down to 57 MB by me.

Fuck. Amare, Joe and Iggy. More if keeper totals get raised. Yes, but either because I want them to drop, or because they suck, I won't mention them.
-
With Amare, Joe Johnson, Childress, Felton, Iguodala and Jaric, I've got a beast of a team...for next year.

They're only estimates until the final numbers, which usually come out three months after the event.

I'm pretty sure that IX was the worst that I've heard (haven't seen all of XIII and XV). Absolutely nothing redeeming from that commentary, with Ross having to throw out all of these generalized statements about everyone since he had just came into the company (and knew jack-squat about most of the workers).

I guess we were spoiled by Clemens' and Favre's performance to give a little leeway to Rodriguez and the loss of his uncle.

You know, after that Busch Stadium retrospective in the bottom of the eighth, I just knew that the Cardinals were going to win to send it back there. Busch fans will be RABID in Game 6.

I doubt they ever seriously considered giving it to him. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Then why the KotR title in the exact same match 3 months later? I thought they were priming him for it as well. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They wanted to keep the title on Rocky. I don't think they ever looked at Shamrock winning that match as an option. They compromised (given that it is Wrestlemania and the history of title changes there) by letting Shamrock go over like he did.
-
Fair enough. Aries and the trainers should've mauled him instead.

My roster... RAW: Bischoff, Cena, Angle, Trish Smackdown: Batista, Booker, Benoit, Sharmell, Teddy Long I had a decision between buying Trish/GMs or Orton. I stuck with the Trish/GM combo based on appearance points. SOLD: Kennedy (3.0) , Lashley (2.0) BOUGHT: Booker (4.0), Sharmell (1.0)

Oh man, Darko... I select Kenny Thomas.

Then, why did the WWE have to call Hogan and Savage "The Huckster" and "The Nacho Man" in the Billionaire Ted skits? Or "Scheme Gene"? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They didn't. The names were part of the parody.
-
Well, Bubba and D'Von have been a parody of themselves for the past half-decade - does that mean they could still use the Dudley Boys name?

Congratulations to the White Sox. Too bad that the only White Sock that I actually like, the one who truly deserves a ring after the career he had, will be the one that's sitting out.
-
I take it you've ignored most of his work since 2002, eh?

Why in the world did I pick Miami...
