  1. Red Sox Co-GM Jed Hoyer confirms they will be non-tendering Wade Miller.
  2. Terrible trade for Texas. They could have gotten alot more for Adrian Gonzales. There's been no news at all on Jeff Weaver. With the amount SPs are getting this off-season he may come across as a fairly good bargain for some team. Some relievers that seem to be flying under the radar too are... Shigetoshi Hasegawa Kerry Ligtenberg Scott Sullivan Jim Mecir I wouldn't mind seeing Jim Mecir on the Red Sox. There are no good left-handed relievers left on the market, yet he gets lefties out pretty well thanks to that Screwball of his.
  3. I could reply to every single OAOAST Show thread and cement my status of being the Biggest Bastard of an Idiot.
  4. From Russia With Love
  5. I'm pretty sure he was questioning if that's what you were going to call the column.
  6. That's what happens when you let a man of his age listen to the ideas of the WWE Booking Committee.
  7. Not to mention that even if the Hawks lose this game they can wrap up Homefield Advantage through-out the playoffs with a win in Green Bay. They'd have to choke pretty badly to not get HFA through-out.
  8. Its not important enough to stick out though. Had the Colts not lost to the Chargers it would be a much more compelling game.
  9. Does it frighten you at all that we've been seeing eye-to-eye on alot of things recently?
  10. Skull Kid botched run in where Damaramu gets clocked, Devin "Arma" Geddon pins Damaramu, Damaramu shoots on Devin for 20min because only Ryan Smith is suppose to be able to pin him. After the shoot ends everybody dances together like a campy 70s version action hero show.
  11. all I ask is that if I do win that award then Papacita make a good looking Trophy to represent it.
  12. I thought this week was going to be pre-empted with an award ceremony where I win the Biggest Bastard of an Idiot award.
  13. Alot of key match-ups left going into this week NY Giants @ Washington: Washington still has a chance at the NFC East crown but they have got to win this for those hopes to continue. A Giants win will clinch the NFC East and keep them in the hunt for a first round bye. Dallas @ Carolina: Dallas' playoff hopes are fading fast after the blowout loss in Washington this past week. If they lose this game then their chances at going to the playoffs are likely over as Washington has the tie-breaker over them and Minn is beating them as far as Conference Record goes. Atlanta @ Tampa Bay: One year after making the NFC Championship game the Falcons are fighting for their playoff lives. Tampa Bay needs this game to keep up with Carolina in the NFC South hunt. Michael Vick has never been able to figure out the Tampa Bay defense and if he doesn't figure them out this week then he'll have a whole extra month's worth of off-season to try. San Diego @ Kansas City: After handing the Colts their first loss of the season the Chargers are coming in with alot of momentum but little hope to make the playoffs. Denver will need to lose their game against Oakland but San Diego still has to do their part and beat Kansas City to have any shot at the Playoffs. Kansas City comes in like a wounded animal backed into a corner. One more loss and they'll be eliminated from the post-season. Playoff picture: A Denver win clinches them the AFC West A Chicago win clinches them the NFC North. A Chicago win coupled with a NY Giants loss gives Chicago a First Round Bye. A Carolina win coupled with a Tampa Bay loss clinches the NFC South for the Panthers
  14. Well somebody is going to get traded. Right now they have Loretta, Graffanino, and Alex Cora. I would think Graff gets traded as Cora can play SS and right now he would be the starting SS. I wouldn't be surprised however if they traded Lorretta to upgrade at SS or should Damon not resign, bring in a CF. He would have the most value out of the three.
  15. This thread makes Alina wet.
  16. Packers have the worst defense in the league this year. I can't even throw a very good spiral, yet I could probably light them up.
  17. ThomasJMayer whatever happened to that fatty?
  18. If there's a god then he'll work a steelcage match with the writing staff and Vince McMahon with the same results as the last cage match he was involved in.
  19. Not at all. I too enjoyed the Tammy pics and videos from that site.
  20. I'm not saying people can't enjoy it. I'm just wondering why in the world people do still enjoy it and bother watching it. I could be doing something else but I'm actually enjoying the conversation in this thread and won't be thinking to myself later "Good god, I can't believe I bothered sitting through that." as it has sparked good conversation. I'm interested because this is a wrestling board. This board is suppose to be for "Smart Marks" and I can't really understand anybody that's smart really finding this to be worthwhile entertainment. If this was a WWE only board then I wouldn't bother ask, but seeing as how it is a board for Smart Marks I wonder why people here still bother watch it when there is another federation on TV now that you could focus your attention on. One where actual wrestling is the focal point. There was a clear difference with those examples though 1.) None of it would be overly offensive to anybody on a personal level 2.) The actual wrestling that followed those types of lead-ins made watching that stuff in the end easier to deal with. They didn't have limited move sets for workers that knew what they were doing and they didn't place people that really had no clue how to work well in the ring into the spotlight. That includes Luger as he was always well protected by being second fiddle to Flair, Sting, Bret, Yokozuna, Hogan, etc. I don't believe that anybody with the same mindset as my own in regards to the WWF/WWE will ever remenice about any of those moments. The Pittsburgh Pirates didn't meet with their opponent prior to the game and go over exactly how they would be losing and what would happen with the entire game. I'm sure if the Pirates had the option of pre-determining their games they would make every one of their fans happy. The WWE however hasn't appeared interested in doing that for years. As a little kid I really did enjoy that gimmik. The Bastion Booger one wasn't as enjoyable as I still remember going to a house show as a little kid and Mike Shaw walking up near where I was sitting. He had some of the Bushwhackers Sardines and something else he was eating too. I just recall him smelling REAL bad. My only real memory of that house show.
  21. As far as Mike Shaw(Bastion Booger) goes, he was a very good worker but got stuck with shit gimmiks through-out his career. Just wanted to say that in response to what DH placed at the end of his post. Kotz, you admittedly wasted $7(well at least that much. Not taking into account any food or beverages you had) last night. Say you go every month and get the same results 10 out of 12 times a year. That's $70 you could have spent on other things, along with about 21hrs of your life you could be spending doing something else. I personally wouldn't be able to justify to myself that the money and time spent is worth it as long as I get a few "tingles" here and there from a couple of matches or encounters. To each their own though.
  22. Perhaps they know something about Padilla that we(the fans) don't. He has started to have arm problems as of late and continuously pitches all year round (although I don't know if he's skipping Winter Ball this year).
  23. Nah, just funning the fact that combined the two states have made two very interesting stories here. Kansas with the whole 13 yr old marriage fiasco and now Missouri with this. And the common link, Kansas City. I got bored. Don't forget our gung-ho spirit regarding intelligent design! And the BTK Killer being found there. I learned years ago that jumping onto moving vehicles isn't smart. I had a friend driving her car out of a store parking lot and to be an ass I jumped on the back part and hung to the roof rack. She did a sharp turn and I went flying into some shrubbary.
  24. I'm surprised Senator McCain didn't get any recognition for basically helping back the MLB Player's Union into a corner on the Steroid Testing policy.
  25. oh come on now. I'm sure you at least enjoy Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.
