It was a long time ago, but a different picture in the thread was "Rick Ross' Calendar" with the same bit. There was no picture on it, but I loved it at the time. This is a nice update. Edit- Errr, and there is the older one. Aaaand the new one isn't there anymore.

Aww! Thanks, Venk. That means a lot to me.

Chavez almost touched on a concept I want to see with regards to MITB. I think it could be a very good angle. I will use wrestlers as examples, as well. Let's say Jeff Hardy wins the MITB, but can barely walk afterward due to putting his body on the line throughout the match. Edge puts a massive beatdown on Hardy during Smackdown when Hardy comes out for his first interview with the briefcase, because Edge knows Hardy will be gunning for him. They break his leg, and put him on the shelf indefinitely. After a long time away to rehab his injuries (with weekly updates showing Hardy "learning to walk again"), Hardy comes back and announces that he is not ready for a title match as he can no longer wrestle the style he is used to wrestling. He wrestles a more grounded, technical style, while showing flashes of his former self more and more as time goes on. At some point, a fellow face talks to him backstage about how he has to rush getting back to where he used to be, as the MITB stipulation expires at Wrestlemania. The Rumble rolls around, and Triple H wins. He announces on Smackdown that he will be facing Edge at Wrestlemania. Hardy comes out and says he will be cashing in his shot against Edge at Wrestlemania, and his shot guarantees it can be a one-on-one match. Hardy and Triple H feud on the way to Wrestlemania, as Hardy will do anything to be able to beat Edge on the biggest stage of them all. Anyone can be inserted into these roles, and I don't necessarily mean that the wrestler doing the attacking is Champion for a full year, but you get the gist of the scenario. Two wrestlers have the same right to a one-on-one match with the guy that they choose at Wrestlemania. I think it opens up a lot of possibilities.

Get a Harmony remote by Logitech. I have programmed a handful of them to work home theaters that I put together, and they work very well once you get them set up the way you need. The software is downloaded to your computer and you put the model numbers of your gear in the appropriate places on your profile. Plug in the remote to your computer's USB, and it downloads the info it needs to operate your system. If need be, you can add lags so it turns on certain parts of your system before others, which is needed in home theater setups. The remote is also capable of learning individual buttons on your existing remotes, and you can fine-tune them to the smallest detail. Most of them handle up to 15 different objects (including lighting, fans, fireplaces, etc.) Some of them command RF as well as IR. Once you have the remotes programmed correctly, operating your system is a breeze. Here is an example from one of my home theater jobs: Pressing the "Watch TV" button powered on the surround sound for 2 seconds before turning on the TV and DirecTV box. During the setup, the software asks if you control the volume through the TV or surround system, which component you use to change channels, which input your TV needs to be on for each component, etc. When the TV came on, it immediately switched to "HDMI 1" as that was where the satellite box was connected. There is no "press this button to control the TV, then this button to switch back to the surround sound." Pressing "Watch Movie," powered on the necessary components for that to work properly. It really is a terrific program, but the setup can be a little frustrating due to no instructions included with the remote. The software has troubleshooting help, but you might need to call customer service and have them walk you through the setup so you can get it working perfectly with regards to lags and other fine-tuning. Once you get it set up, though, it's well worth it.

I wish I could put Eric Davis in the HOVG. Injuries and illness cut his career short, but he was a very good player when he was healthy. He was three homeruns short of being the first 40/40 player, and he only played in 129 games that year. I dream of a healthy Eric Davis tearing it up for the Reds, but he just couldn't keep it together. http://www.baseball-reference.com/d/daviser01.shtml

The US Economy and Current Financial Crisis

Caterpillar moved to lay off around 22,000 employees yesterday, and intends on restricting overtime and making other budget cuts. I work for WalkerCAT, a dealership for Caterpillar, and we are actually hiring people right now as we just closed out a record year. The owners informed us managers to tighten the budget where we can and try to cut out overtime if possible, but they are optimistic that we will still have a good year. One of the things that we were told today was Caterpillar is still behind on production, and that we cannot get machinery from them fast enough to supply the demand. Yet another instance of West Virginia not feeling the pinch that other states are feeling. It's definitely coming, though. -
I hope that those who didn't watch the show don't get the wrong idea when scouring the boxscore this morning.

I weighed in today at 237 on the digital scale. I have been weighing myself either in the evening after work, or after breakfast on the weekends. I don't have a scale at my place, so I use the digital scale at the gym every week. I also weigh myself in full clothing, including shoes and a sweatshirt, so I am probably around 235 in all actuality. I am enjoying the slow loss of weight, because I will be able to make it stick. I can not wait to get back to the shape I was in until a few years ago.

I apologize if this has been posted before. I haven't seen every video in this thread.

To the fans and everybody of TSM, I'm sorry. Extremely sorry. We wanted Dandy as Poster of the Year, that was my goal, something I have never done here. I promise you one thing, a lot of good will come out of this. You will never see any poster in the entire TSM Universe post as hard as I will post the rest of the year. You will never see another poster push this board as hard as I will push everybody the rest of the year. You will never see a board post harder than we will the rest of the year. God bless.

I tried to watch Gran Torino last night, but it was sold out. The Toughman contest was in town, so I assume a lot of wives went to the movies while the men watched the Toughman. The restaurants and movie theater was packed as all hell, and I believe they were making signs for other movies that were sold out while we were getting ready to leave.

Even with their early season success, I never thought the Cardinals would make it to the Super Bowl this year. They fell apart at the end of the season, and I figured they would get rolled by the hot Eagles. Wow!

I don't think it's Green Acres.

Ms. Dandy and I just ate at Taste of Asia, one of our local restaurants that has a sushi bar. They had a Godzilla roll that was foohackin' amazing! We had the rainbow roll, spider roll, spicy tuna roll and the Godzilla. All were served on the same plate, with an artistic dragon drawn on half the large square plate with a special sauce. Man, that was one terrific dinner, and I need to have that Godzilla roll more often. I had never heard of it until tonight. Here is the sushi menu, with descriptions of their rolls: http://www.tasteofasiahibachi.com/Sushi.html Edit---Oh yeah, every Taste of Asia is a little different with their use of crab or imitation crab. The one in downtown only had one roll with imitation crab, but I can't remember which roll it was. Also, they gave us a free roll that was crab meat rolled up in a cucumber peel. Excellent!

When I was a wrestling mod, I planned revampings of the wrestling section folder by folder. The long-term plan was to create a Classic Wrestling folder and have all historical chit-chat go there. TNA, International and Indies would have a folder, and the WWE Folder would remain independent. If it involved someone currently with WWE, I would think it could be discussed in the WWE Folder, whether it happened 6 years ago or not. If it didn't really have anything to do with the current product, posters could feel free to post it in the Classic Folder instead. TNA, International and Indies is fairly self-explanatory.

Slaughter always comes up here to Huntington to spend time with his daughter when she has time off. She has lived in the area for the past 6 years or so, I believe. I wonder if he will move to the area now, as he has always remarked how much he likes it here.

Picturing them as a creation by Chairman Mao would have been much better. -
Kinetic - If Venkman were facing either of the other two, he'd move on. However, I had Kinetic as my number one choice and I'm sticking with it. Agent - He brought it this year. Heading into the finals, I must say that this was one of the most competitive tourneys I have voted in.

Either that, or it could be the tried and true reference to a person's biceps/arms. -
