There are actually a few minor differences as well. Rob has way more blood on his face in alternate ending #1 and in the movie they both say "I love you" but only Beth says it in both of the alt. endings. It's so obvious to see Clover drop into the ocean when you're looking for it at the end. Apparently it was a baby monster that was confused and frightened. Where's momma?

We finally got a much needed update to our HD channels here on Time Warner. Good news right? Not when it's Food Network and Home and Garden HD! I'd really like Spike and USA HD but I think it's an absolute travesty that I still can't get UFC and WWE PPVs in HD but I can watch someone make a soufflé in 1080p! I'd have thought that PPV would be one of the first channels to get the upgrade. I guess that's why I don't work at a cable network.

I only watched the first season of the Contender but I know who Forbes is. It would be something if he beats Oscar. Free fight, heck I'll be watching despite not being huge in to boxing.

Gym Class Heroes played my last day of classes thingy (called Slope Day here) and they were 25x better then they had any right to be. I wasn't a huge fan beforehand or anything but they put on a really good show.

I agree but everyone's absolute fear of his submissions buys him a bit more recovery time then most fighters in that situation. Did anyone else know that Rowdy Roddy Piper's son is a fighter on Team Quest? I had no idea.

Seriously? No, they are not dead. Things we learned tonight: 1) Rousseau is definitely dead. 2) Miles isn't really so bad and he also isn't a quack. 3) Sawyer isn't dead. He's still on the island. 4) Kate is in danger. Jack is about to leave without her. He risks his life to go back to her, this making her one of the Oceanic Six afterall. That's pretty much directly stated in his little speech to Kate. Sawyer also apparently chose differently. 5) The flashforward, to the best of my knowledge took place around mid August 2006. That's the only Yankees sweep of the Red Sox I could find in the near future but I only skimmed. I may have missed something. All of these dead people showing up has to be Jacob's influence.

I'd imagine that winning the GP isn't going to help in lowering his asking price. I was under the impression that was the reason he's not in the UFC in the first place. I'm really looking forward to watching his fight tomorrow night.

Word is going around that Rich Franklin might move back to 205 because he's already beat everyone not named Anderson Silva at 185 and neither he or anyone else wants to see Franklin/Silva 3. 1) Props to Rich for realizing his place and 2) I think it's a great idea. There are a lot of big money fights for Rich at 205.

I use WaLuigi because I think his little sayings are hilarious. I'm not sure if he's the best fit for my driving style, though. I think I need to examine this by time trial.

Ha. I already work out 6 times a week, but Wii Fit is a way for me to do stuff I wouldn't necessarily want to do in public (like yoga) or stuff I just don't generally do (skiing). I also have no idea what else is on there but over 40 different things I'd imagine you can get a variety of great and fun workouts.

Do you consider Juliette a minor character? I don't. Either way - give the writers some credit. I highly doubt they are going to even have any drama in regards to Jack's status. It's more likely a plot device to highlight something else.

I think pretty much the final three tracks in the Special Cup are among the best ever. The Bowser's Castle is among the best yet, the highway track is fun going through the city and it's a pretty fun Rainbow Road. Lots of good tracks in the last three cups, actually.

Meltzer made an offhand comment in an article about Bisping that Franklin/Henderson is scheduled for later in the year. Now that's an interesting bout. My early gut says go with Dan. We all know how over-rated Dan's teammate, Matt Lindland, thinks Rich is and I'm sure Dan agrees.

Not necessarily, I don't think. Ben found it rather easily when he took Locke there last season. I think he was just letting on that he knows that Hurley is in touch with the island somehow. He was on Jacob's list, after all. They need Hurley for SOMETHING but Ben knows where Jacob is. Just another case of Ben showing Locke how little he actually knows in relation to Ben.

This game is unreal. Just so much fun. I wind up with a lot more silver trophies then I am comfortable with right now - I keep choking on all of the last tracks. I keep getting banana peels from all my boxes and hit with seemingly non-stop red shells but I am having so much fun with this game.
