I gave an estimated time to emphasis how quickly and surprisingly Bob Sapp lost. The "correction" was made to attempt to make me look foolish. It added nothing to the discussion - because anyone reading it wouldn't differentiate between Bob Sapp losing to a guy whose record was 1-5 in 35 seconds or 55. They'd only want to take away the main point, which is that he lost to a can brought in to take a fall... and quickly. Making a post to add absolutely nothing to the discussion and discredit another poster = trolling.

Ok, so 205 has a few legit title contenders. Forrest first. I'd say if Forrest beats Rampage and Jardine beats Wandy then Keith gets the first crack at Forrest with Chuck, Rashad, and Rampage all having a legit shot at the title (assuming wins in their next matches). If Rampage retains then Chuck probably gets a rematch with Rashad and Jardine somewhere below while Forrest disappears for awhile. Now, if Wanderlei beats Jardine then Jardine is out of the title picture. Wanderlei also can't get a title shot before Chuck, for obvious reasons. And let's not forget Machida, who honestly, if he beats Tito has got to be pretty damn close. It's not an easy time to be Joe Silva right now...although there probably never is.

The worst part about Juno being so successful is that the all of the writer's ridiculous and verbose scripts are going to get made. How many different types of films can this overblown dialogue get squeezed in to? We're about to find out. I really liked Juno, by the way. But it's the kind of movie that I'd like the writer to just disappear after.

Well, the director said in Maxim that he definitely wanted all unknowns in the movie. But yeah, I'm with everyone else. Absolutely no interest in it. Semi-Pro next week I will probably end up seeing, although it doesn't look spectacular or anything. I just love Will Ferrell movies more than I probably should.

I just got back from this. It was slightly different then I expected it to be, but I enjoyed it about as much as I thought I would. The "Sweded" films were all pretty damn funny, but I was surprised at the amount of heart the movie had. Jack Black was his typical JB self but a bit more reserved and Mos Def put in a solid performance. I'd recommend this. It's slow to get going but once the videos get erased it picks up steam really fast.

Anybody watch the Strikeforce card last night? I recorded it but it ran super long and I missed what were apparently the two best parts: Bob Sapp losing in like 35 seconds and Joe Riggs getting carted out on a stretcher. Damn it.

First of all - I'm looking forward to B.J./Sherk more than most fights in the works right now. I'd buy it for that itself. Wandy/Jardine is official as of today. If we're using MMAmath that's an easy win for Jardine, but since MMAmath doesn't really exist... well, I'm still going to go with Jardine. Wandy isn't superman anymore and I can definitely see Jardine grinding out a decision like he did against Chuck. Tito's last UFC fight and I guarantee we're going to see fireworks between Tito and Dana both leading up to the fight and at the card itself. In fact, a little bit of it has already started. FWIW, I can see this backfiring on the UFC as Tito might be able to overmatch Lyoto's counter style and grind out a win. Either way, this will be a spectacle. And Silva/Rashad will be a test for both men and a big step up for the winner. Hell, if Rashad wins he probably will be in line for a no. 1 contender match. I'm pretty psyched up for this one. Three damn good PPVs and an unreal UFN coming up.

He used to be. Little Penny was great. I don't know how many posters here are old enough to remember. This is some game so far. Electric atmosphere and both teams are shooting the lights out. It's a rare non-ACC regular season game that I make a point to watch but this is a great damn game.

It's look very likely that the Cornell Big Red are going to win the Ivy League and make the NCAA tournament for the first time in 20 years. If they beat Brown tonight, it's pretty much a done-deal. I will have the added bonus of cheering for both of my alma maters in the tournament this year... one to win it all and the other to make it out of the first round.
