I think there are certainly cans when it comes to Lesnar. Any lower tier heavyweight who doesn't know jiu-jitsu has little to no chance against Brock. I just can't see how someone like a Hardonk, Eddie Sanchez, Colin Robinson, Soa Palelei would beat him. Hawk said it pretty well in his first few paragraphs... although I disagree about Sylvia. He'd crush Brock right now.

Juliet already explained last season that they don't know what it is but they do know that it doesn't like the security fence. I believe that was a serious response. Ben most likely genuinely does not know. Hurley is going to play a major role in things... being that he can see Jacob. It's looking like Col. Daniels (Matthew Abadon) is going to have a major role this season. Ben is so fucking awesome. It just needs to be said. He's such a great character. The whole speech he gave to Sawyer today was great...as was his final speech.

Speaking of shows coming around here... besides New Pornographers/Okkervil River there is also a Super Furry Animals/Times New Viking show coming up. I'm probably gonna skip that one, though. I'm having a very hard time getting through the Times New Viking.

Well, you're right. It's now on the main card in favor of Diego's fight. So now we have Diego/Kos/Arlovski all on the prelims. People are probably going to want to get there on time for once. The whole concept of showing up late drives me nuts considering how expensive the tickets are. Wouldn't you want to see all the fights anyway?

There was a twinge of sarcasm in there because my jaw dropped when I heard his salary myself. I was a HUGE fan of him back in the day... I even bought his book and thorougly enjoyed it when I have little interest in the Red Sox/Yankee rivalry. I'll probably buy his epic NBA book (that he's been dropping hints about for about a year now) when it comes out too. But I see where people are coming from with his paint by the numbers columns. Will Leitch said it best. His career might have been saved by the Patriots not winning because if he wrote his column after having attended Tom Brady's celebration (as he planned) it would have pushed a lot of people over the edge.

I have no desire to see Namond and Colvin. Their stories ended fine enough. Poot would be nice to see. I'm also going to flip my shit if Avon doesn't show up again in some way. As for season 3... episode 11 of that season is the best standalone episode in series history. The entire Stringer/Avon saga playing out to the end with their balcony scene (best scene in Wire history) and the entire property scene at the end. Just all around greatness.
