Clemens should incur just as much scorn as Bonds. Same career arc, basically. Great, HOF type player who had a late career resurgence fueled by steroids. If Clemens gets off the hook via popular support - it's an outrage.

Curran had his back for 3 minutes and didn't even sniff a dangerous position. The jumping knee while the other leg was occupied was pretty sick. Yeah - I'm really hoping for Urijah/Kid sometime this summer.

I sincerely hope that a lot of Paulo's lackluster effort resulted from him getting knocked loopy right at the beginning of round one by that takedown. I heard Henderson and Lindland screaming that he was KO'd. At least that's what I'm hoping, but who knows. The clubbing right hand/german suplex sequence was fucking awesome but probably wasn't as cool as Frank being 2x the size of Valencia in the post fight interview. I'm just as jazzed for the WEC card tonight as I have been for any UFC in recent memory... probably as far back as Stacked. Hopefully the fights that are supposed to deliver actually do.

In principle, it is though. Obviously, the end result crime that was committed differed in severity, but he still went to jail for being a mastermind and the person behind the crimes. Anybody else getting pumped for the WEC card Wednesday? Pulver's 145 debut and after Swanson talked some trash it should be a good fight... you get a Filho beatdown and also a fairly respectable opponent for Faber in Jeff Curran. Hopefully they can find a way to get Kid Yamamoto over to the US to make that dream match go down, but this will do for now. 3 title fights and another big name on free tv = fun times.

I mean, Huerta was kind of exposed last night, no? He showed great heart and no quit, but for two rounds he was pretty much Clay Guida's bitch. I can't see him beating Kenny, B.J., Sherk, and probably a few other big names I'm forgetting. The problem with this? The UFC is trying to make him more then his talent merits.
