Isn't Youk in his mid to late 20's? He's got the potential to make it though if he keeps it up. BASEBALL: Red Sox: Beckett, Smoltz (as a Brave), Pedroia and Papelbon both have the potential as well. Mets: David Wright is the only one that comes to mind off the top of my head. Jose Reyes has the skills, but I don't think he will make it. Dodgers: No one that I can think of other than Jeff Kent FOOTBALL: Giants: Michael Strahan, although he is retired now. I can see Feegles getting in. Toomer is a long shot, but he's got numbers to do it. Plax could have been on pace, but not anymore. HOCKEY: Rangers: Drury, Gomez (both not with the Rangers though), Lundquvist (although after the way he's been playing the last month it's hard to make an argument for him). BASKETBALL: Knicks: The only one with an outside chance to make it is David Lee, and even that's a long shot. Mavericks: Dirk, Jason Kidd

Does Rourke Being at WM Cheapen "The Wrestler"?

Well, now we're going to be back to Vince hating the movie again. -
Along that route the Storm Cradle Piledriver (look it up, I ain't going to attempt to describe it) is another one of those sick headdrops. At some point I kinda fell out of love with alot of the innovative indy fed finishers, and I think my growing MMA fandom has something to do with that. Like CG, I like a move that has sort of an "outta nowhere" feel to it, or one that doesn't have a ton of contrived motion to it, although I do like the suspense of a guy working a bodypart looking for one specific hold to end the match, because I think it leads to more drama on the counter of the big finisher. A good finisher can be anything really, as long as it's sold well and doesn't look too outlandishly fake (Worm I'm lookin' at you) I mean in a world of fake fighting, if a move is so outlandishly flashy or takes forever to set up it loses all "suspension of disbelief" that wrestling should get you to. If you are talking about the finisher that Quite Storm did in Northeast indy's, then yeah, that move is awesome. I will always love the Cop Killa.. Cutters are a great move, because they can be hit out of nowhere. I never liked the Unprettier. It takes too long to set up.

I went to Virgin Megastore in Manhattan last week and bought the special edition release of MY BLOODY VALENTIN and the clerk said to me, "It's out on DVD already?" My reply was, "I hope so, it came out in the '80's." He came back with, "Oh the one out now is a remake?" I wanted to punch him in the neck.

They need to bring back the SURREAL LIFE. I used to watch these shows more when I worked Monday nights. We would watch VH1 all night, but I don't have time for them anymore. Mr. Boston certainly needs his own show!

"You're going to love my nuts." I can't believe they got away with putting that line in the commercial. The ShamWow commercial made him annoying, this one makes him awesome! He would toally kick Billy Mays' ass.

Weekend Box Office Report Jan 23-25
cd213 replied to The Niggardly King's topic in Television & Film
I think I read that it played in about 350 theaters and brought in about $650, 000. -
Shane vs orton as NWO. If Shane wins, Orton is fired, if Orton wins he goes on the Wrestlemania.
-
Orton is the best thing going right now in wrestling.
-
That was great. I was at a friends house, and everyone there had to do a double take with that. Great spot.
-
So Kofi, Rey, Evan and Shelton in the MitB, and have them go out and just do some crazy shit. Maybe bring up Lo-Ki in time and add him as well.
-
I loved Snitsky's where the background fell apart, "it wasn't my fault." Perfect use of it.
-
I loved the Hollywood skits. Some of them were great.
-
I love how King is saying that Orton had the "nerve" to read a prepared speech. Ummm...isn't that what you do with a speech?
-
I like it though. It gives more legitimacy to the angle. I agree. It was either last week or the week before, JBL came out in the limo with Michaels and when Michaels walked to the ring from the limo they played his music.
-
This is free publicity for Darren Aronofsky and THE WRESTLER.
-
Holy damn, I didn't expect Kofi to make. I like it though.
-
Nice face plant there by JTG.

On May 17th I'm going to see Queensryche. I can't wait for this, as last year I didn't get to see them. Should be great!
