Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Season 7

Recommended Posts

I loved "I Only Have Eyes For You." It was just awesome once Buffy and Angel got into their roles near the end. And it was even more awesome when Spike got up from his wheelchair. I totally marked out for that.

And I finished Season Three. Fantastic overall, with Graduation Day Pt. 2 being a great finale. Not as emotional as Becoming 2, of course, but still great.

Now I anticipate next weekend, when I go out and buy Season Four~

The Zeppo is truly one of the greatest eps in Buffy history...

because it shows how far they will go to lampoon their own show...and then still be able to create serious stories for over 4 more years.

Xander walking in on a Buffy/Angel conversation complete with corny dialogue and sweeping romantic music...AWESOME.

The music rising back up when Xander leave...CLASSIC.

Season 3 was better than season 2, don't you think?

When season 3 first aired, I didn't like it that much. After the DVD set came out I realized that it was really a good season overall. But I still enjoy season 2 a little more. I guess it's because I love the whole evil Angel thing.

I think Season 3 is better than 2 because it has less filler episodes and I'm a mark for The Mayor.

Plus it showcased the show's growth over the first few seasons. You could tell the show was getting better and finding it's groove. Season 3 felt more organized and smooth.

Season 3 seems kind of like, stale or something. Like it's just there. A whole season of filler. Season 1 was the first, sesaon 2 has the Angel us arc, season 4 has the Initiative, season 5 has Dawn, season 6 is dark and 7 is the last. 3 is like Season 2 Part II. The Buffy/Angel stuff was really anti-climatic after what happened in season 2 too.

I don't understand how you think it was stale with the Faith storyline, the mayor storyline, and even then the Angel/Buffy stuff was exactly where you knew the relationship would end almost from the beginning. Joss made it pretty obvious that the Buffy/Angel relationship was a doomed one.

The Faith storyline basically came in and gave a whole new perspective on the Slayer and set the tone for Buffy's attitude for the rest of the seasons.

The Mayor was just cool. Evil yet lovable while still being powerful.

Dahh!!! How was it stale? Faith's turn into a rouge(sp) slayer, the Mayor's run as the Big Bad, and Buffy/Angel relationship. Wait till my season 3 article gets posted, if that ever happens, to why season 3 was so great.

The best part of season 3 was the Faith/Mayor relationship. In one scene they would be so evil and it would be hard to not want to see them dead, then in another, Faith is telling stories about jumping off the high rock the other kids wouldn't go to and the Mayor is stroking her hair telling her how proud he was of her. When the Mayor snapped in the hospital after finding out about Faith and trying to kill Buffy, that was some powerful stuff.

And I just finished season 2 of Angel and that is some good shit. And I continue to be a Drucilla mark. SUe me.

Mayor Wilkins does rule. Faith is okay too, but she comes and goes randomly especially in the first half.

I liked the Angel/Buffy stuff in season 2 a lot more than 3.

Double Meat Palace owns the bad Buffy ep award.

Shit, I could deal with Bad Eggs, and and Reptile Boy. I still don't understand the Gingerbread hate. And I like Beer Bad alot...(when I was in High School, someone asked what was the best way to get over someone...I said you should just hit them in the head with a big fucking stick...therefore, I mark out for Beer Bad because that is how they handled Parker) Plus this is the last ep that I found SMG to be HAWT (that scene with her writing on the walls...mmmm)

But Double Meat Palace...the main villian was a old woman with a giant penis that ate people...WTF?? The only thing that I liked about that ep was Buffy's "DON"T EAT THE MEAT. ITS PEOPLE..IT'S PEEOPPPLLLEEEEEE!!!" Solent green style.

Old Lady: What about the pie?

Buffy: I don't think so but you never know *being dragged off* YOU NEVER KNOW!!

I nominate "Him" for being the worse episode. I just thought it was the dumbest idea in the world.

That episode was just to funny, though. Willow and Anyas dialouge when they were fighting over the kid, Buffy and the Rocket Launcher, Xander and Spikes "plan" to get the coat. Good times...

I nominate Go Fish for WEE.

With all the nominating...why don't we just do a 32 episode tournament for worst episode ever? :)

I doubt you could get 32 eps to put on there.
