Guest DerangedHermit Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 RAW is live this Monday night from Miami, airing at 9/8 CT on TNN. Last week, RAW's referees made it clear that they do not want to step inside Hell in a Cell when Triple H takes on Kevin Nash at Bad Blood. RAW Co-General Manager Stone Cold Steve Austin said he had a perfect candidate in mind to serve as a special guest referee for that pay-per-view match on June 15. Speculation has already erupted as to who Stone Cold's pick might be. This Monday night on RAW, the potential official will be live in Miami! Find who it is on RAW on The New TNN! Also last week, Chris Jericho decided that Goldberg's prized sports car needed a new paint job. What will the former WCW Champion do to avenge Y2J's malicious prank? Find out this Monday on RAW. Bad Blood will be just one week away when RAW kicks off this Monday night. What other matches will be announced for this already incredible show? Tune in to RAW at 9/8 CT on The New TNN to find out! - "Already incredible show"? Hahahahahaha!
Guest The Grand Pubah of 1620 Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 I just hoping for another great Flair promo tonight!
Guest nikowwf Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 The build for the PPV has been good. (not that the PPV looks good, but they've built well what they have). I'd like to see them add a HURRICANE vs. LANCE STORM match, or RICO vs. SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT SUCK. (Maybe i'm twisted, but if they let Rico wrestle and Jacky is standing there with her nice boobs not speaking or wrestling I'd be into it!) Give me a killer Flair Promo, no 20 minute HHH promo, a longer Gail Kim Teaser, don't squash Booker or RVD and 2 good matches and I'm fine. niko
Guest MD2020 Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 Give me a killer Flair Promo, no 20 minute HHH promo, a longer Gail Kim Teaser, don't squash Booker or RVD and 2 good matches and I'm fine. And all this seems so simple to do, yet RAW has trouble doing it...
Murmuring Beast Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 Give me two hour hardcore sex /sarcasm
Guest LatinoHeat Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 REMINDER: This will be the last raw aired on TNN. Starting next week Raw will be shown on Spike TV.
Guest Blue Bacchus Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 Unless Spike Lee has his way. RAW should be decent.
Guest Masked Man Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 I'm hoping that Triple H wrestles tonight. I haven't seen him in one-on-one action for a while. He always brings the entertainment (in my opinion, of course. Don't jump all over me.)
Guest Polish_Rifle Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 I can’t wait until they add Ivory v Jazz on the PPV tonight because that is just going to put the show over the top and make me want to order Bad Blood.
Guest Austin3164life Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 Raw can be promising, but they always screw it up with on-the-napkin booking.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 I'd like to know how you can promise an "already exciting show" when the show isn't even on? Since they are saying that, they must mean the backstage politicking that goes on with Raw is looking great. At last, they finally admit it in their very subtle ways. Let's see, how bad will tonight's show be? LET'S FIND OUT~!!!!! *off topic* Oh and Blue Bacchus, I'm so sorry your avatar is being hhhelddown dude. It's such a crying shame.
Guest wwF1587 Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 i would watch but i gotta work (oh damn) so i will just tape it... the only reason I would want to watch is for the possible foley or funk return.... id also like to see how goldberg/jericho develops going into bad blood.. have fun tonight guys
Guest Lightning Flik Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 only reason I would want to watch is for the possible foley Foley is back. The WWE and Foley supposedly have worked out a tentative agreement on him working tonight to hype up the match.
Guest AndrewTS Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 There could be some good stuff on Raw. Not wrestling, of course...
Guest Lightning Flik Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 There could be some good stuff on Raw. Not wrestling, of course... Wrestling? What's that doing on Raw? The home of the almighty skit parade~! Cause seriously, I just see squash after squash match.
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 Wait and see because Austin is going announce that the ref for Hell in The Cell is....................TIM WHITE~! BAH GAWD HE IS BACK!~ Come on, think about it. The guy has past HITC expirience and he's no doubt hardcore. I don't see who else it could be. The choice seems pretty obvious.

Why didn't someone say this sooner~!? It would make fucking sense... The ol' bait and switch~! We have Foley come out, talk about his book, cheap popping glory, then announce the REAL ref. IT ALL MAKES SENSE~!
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 They should bring Foley down just to announce Tim White as the ref. They'd be screwing the fans and that's what the WWE likes so it makes sense.
B. Brian Brunzell Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 Am I the only one who doesn't want to see Foley back?
Mecha Mummy Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 Am I the only one who doesn't want to see Foley back? No, you aren't. Foley coming back saddens me.
Crimson Platypus Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 I'm hoping to see Hurricane wrestle Randy Orton. Might actually be a good feud there.
Guest AndrewTS Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 I'm hoping to see Hurricane wrestle Randy Orton. Might actually be a good feud there. Fued? Maybe. Matches would blow though. I'm not interested in the wannabe-heavyweight Hurricane against Green OVW Kid #4 Randy "OW!! I'm hurt again!" Orton. Foley coming back to promote that shithole main event makes me weep. I guess I can have Raw on in the background in case something cool happens.

Yuna_Firerose Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 After a moment of MARKING THE FUCK OUT for Foley, I'd be saddened. I just hope that they explain why Stevie and Victoria didn't accompany each other to the ring in their respective matches last week. Victoria without Stevie... Stevie without Victoria... it's just WRONG, dammit! Wrong, wrong, wrong! And immoral.... so I'll fight the good fight and DEMAND an explanation! Erm....something like that.
Murmuring Beast Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 I'll be sad, but it's just bastardizing Foley by putting him in this debacle. Next week on Raw: 33.333333333333336% General Manager Foley!
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 Spoiler (Highlight to Read): WWE advertises The Rock... 411 Reader Jason J sent in word that a radio station airing a commercial for raw featured The Rock saying 'see you at Raw tonight'. It would be a good idea for the WWE to not air ads for The Rock if he was not going to be there. However, the WWE has had incorrect ads all month for Bad Blood. 411wrestling.com
Guest BoboBrazil Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 Foley always comes back to plug his book. It is really quite predictable. It will be nice to see him, but all he is going to do is hype his book for 95% of the promo and start doing that cheap pop crap again, which is annoying. Raw has been decent the last few weeks, so lets see if they can keep it up.
Guest BoboBrazil Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 Oh yeah, they also have to announce alot more matches to fill a 3 hour ppv. It is this weekend and the only things I know of are Kevin Nash vs HHH, Goldberg vs Jericho, Christian vs Booker T, and the Austin/Bischoff redneck triathalon.
ChrisMWaters Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 Oh yeah, they also have to announce alot more matches to fill a 3 hour ppv. It is this weekend and the only things I know of are Kevin Nash vs HHH, Goldberg vs Jericho, Christian vs Booker T, and the Austin/Bischoff redneck triathalon. RVD and Kane vs. Frenchie Martin's Illigitamate Kids. Steiner vs. Test. And what, if they're motivated enough, could be the match of the night... Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels.
Guest BoboBrazil Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 Oh yeah I forgot about Michaels vs Flair. That was a dream match for me like 6 years ago, but I don't want to see it as much now, even though it will still be good and probably the best match on the card. I must have blocked those other matches from my mind
