Guest AndrewTS Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 Kanyon/Rey? Kurt/Haas? Benoit/Rhyno? Looks like this may be a good SD for workrate fans.
Guest Choken One Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 it was likely just to judge the crowds reaction to her...
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 Why are they having Beniot/Rhyno in the first round? Shouldn't they save something like that till the finals? Oh, and I'm wondering, which one is the face and which is the heel?
Guest BoboBrazil Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 It is pretty bad that they put Paul London in a Velocity match jobbing to Matt Hardy the week where he was likely to win the X title from Sabin.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 Bradshaw blonde? BAAAHAHAHAHA!!! He always praises his "we were underappreciated midcarders in 1996 so we deserve everything, dammit" friends Billy Gunn and Hardcore Holly so I guess he followed their example. Seven matches. I wonder when the last time there were seven matches in one show. I may actually check this shit out come Thursday.
Mecha Mummy Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 Oh, and Big Show chokeslams Brock, Kurt, AND Mr. America at the end of the show. So Big Show isn't leaving the main events any time soon.
Bored Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 It is pretty bad that they put Paul London in a Velocity match jobbing to Matt Hardy the week where he was likely to win the X title from Sabin. Ummm he's a non-contract worker...what were they gonna do have him go over? Hey and better Hardy than A-Train or DeMott.
Guest Zero_Cool Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 Matt Hardy vs. Paul London on Velocity..I am so watching this week! Yeah, Paul London was in a tag match last night...first match of the night. He tagged with some Jimmy guy, who carried around an ax and was kinda charismatic. Anyway, the other team were just a couple of serious jobbers, and not very good at that. I forget their names. In the match, it was easy to see that London was the star...quick, and had "it". He played the Ricky Morton role for a bit, and eventually, got the crowd into it, which I found pretty cool for a bunch of nobodies who were getting boring chants for a little while. Match finished after a hot tag to London's partner. After a scramble, that man leaped off the top rope, and hit a cool little twisting knee drop for the three.
Cherry Blossom Viscount Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 Despite what many of you think, Big Show has somehow managed to get over again despite his usual push and job treatment. He's pretty much the most over heel on the SD! side of things besides McMahon, Hardy, A-Train, and perhaps Piper.
ChrisMWaters Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 Well it looks like Smackdown 200 will be a pretty good show...
Guest AndrewTS Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 Dark Matches - Gail Kim d. Dawn Marie (Apparenly Gail looked pretty good all in all.) that combination is wrong on so many levels GAAAAAAIL!! WAAAAAAAI!! Why is she touring with SD? Why not with Raw? You know, where the female wrestlers are and she could actually learn how to work with them early? And is Dawn still working there? I had no idea. Not that I actually missed seeing her in shitty angles every week. Mr. Ass d. Jamie Noble That is also sooooo wrong.
Mecha Mummy Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 Dude, Andrew, it's a DARK MATCH. Ultimo works Raw dark matches, does that mean he will be on Raw?
Guest subliminal_animal Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 Dark Matches - Gail Kim d. Dawn Marie (Apparenly Gail looked pretty good all in all.) that combination is wrong on so many levels Really? I can only see none. When was the last time they had a full bracket set up from the beginning? The last tournament they had, where Cena won his title shot against Brock. That goes counter to the paper napkin booking of the last 4 months. Too late, partner ... I already shot down your wad.
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 So we've got Undertaker and APA vs FBI at Vengence. Yowza!
Bored Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 So we've got Undertaker and APA vs FBI at Vengence. Yowza! And after Undertaker has beaten every F.B.I. member cleanly the last three weeks which would make you think the feud is over. Maybe Taker still wants to punish Palumbo for not saying hi to Droz.
Guest AndrewTS Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 Dude, Andrew, it's a DARK MATCH. Ultimo works Raw dark matches, does that mean he will be on Raw? Did you even bother to read my post? I don't understand why she's wrestling SD women. You know, the ones who don't have a clue how to wrestle? I'd think they'd want to prep her against the Raw women before her debut.
EL DANDY~! Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 If Hardy and London get more than five minutes, color me both happy and surprised!!!
Guest Nanks Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 London works a WWE TV match the day before a TNA X Division title shot? Well, Sabin's retaining. Hardy v London sure sounds like it'd be worth a look though. Angle gets beaten down by his former proteges and swatted away by TBS in one show?? AS will not be happy when he gets here. Not happy at all. Sounds like a pretty damn good card though.
Guest wildpegasus Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 Benoit wins! All Benoit fans can take the paper bags off of their faces now.
Gert T Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 Well I thought it was going to be Billy Gunn & the APA vs the FBI at Vengeance so either way the excitement level will be high. And yeah, Billy Gunn beating Jamie Noble is wrong.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 Heh. And here I was thinking that he'd only be used to put over Mr. "I used to say fuck all the time so therefore I had great mic skills". Seriously, I have no idea why that one receives the praise he gets.
Mecha Mummy Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 Dude, Andrew, it's a DARK MATCH. Ultimo works Raw dark matches, does that mean he will be on Raw? Did you even bother to read my post? I don't understand why she's wrestling SD women. You know, the ones who don't have a clue how to wrestle? I'd think they'd want to prep her against the Raw women before her debut. I misread it. My bad. My guess is that WWE's seeing if Gail can carry talentless people or something.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 Benoit wins! All Benoit fans can take the paper bags off of their faces now. Just wait until Albert beats him next round..
Guest bravesfan Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 So we've got Undertaker and APA vs FBI at Vengence. Yowza! Better that than anything with Taker in the main event or title tournament.
Guest wildpegasus Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 "Just wait until Albert beats him next round" Not going to happen. Benoit's on too much of a role. He's got the confidence back enough now after watching DK matches all week. Momentum is everything. Now as long as that Rhyno doesn't interfere!
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 Dammit ya stupid fuck! You just jinxed Benoit! He's done for.
Guest ISportsFan Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 So we've got Undertaker and APA vs FBI at Vengence. Yowza! Better that than anything with Taker in the main event or title tournament. As long as they throw all the crap into about 2 or 3 matches, then give us 5 matches of goodness, I'm all for it. Jason
Guest wrestlingbs Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 So we've got Undertaker and APA vs FBI at Vengence. Yowza! At least the crap is contained in one match.
