GOLD Jerry GOLD!!

Yeah, anyway, Bob, yo; post the first couple you get, or any that are like, suprising to see (like a 5 Star Steiner match or something of less magnitude).

And damn, I feel crap looking at my friends game, where he demolished EVERYONE, I mean, no feds above cult, in just over a year I think, though I'm not certain, after starting out below WWE, with a worse roster and less money. Damn I look poor next to that.

That's fair enough, that'd take like months.

And wow, that Matrix guy is beloved by all, only a couple of months and he's the number one face, from a very lower carder. He gains massive overness everytime his on screen! I suppose those 99% matches with Pure Talent couldn't have hurt . . .

Rob Van Dam vs Christian.

Match Background: Christian is the reigning WWE Intercontinental champion.

The Match: THERE IT IS! A legdrop to the BACK OF THE HEAD! I swear, that makes any match just a little bit better. I don't mind telling you that every time I see it, that's for sure. Super kick by Christian. Covers for a quick two count. Rob Van Dam reverses a hip toss. Standing leg lariat by Rob Van Dam on Christian. THERE IT IS! A legdrop to the BACK OF THE HEAD! I swear, that makes any match just a little bit better. I don't mind telling you that every time I see it, that's for sure. Hooks the leg for a two count. Tor-NADO DDT from Rob Van Dam, Christian got planted! Pin, but Christian is out just before the three count. Implant DDT by Rob Van Dam! I will always and forever mark out for that move. Christian avoids a Rob Van Dam avalanche by getting out of the damn way! Flying reverse elbow by Christian. Hooks the leg for a two count. Springboard dropkick from Christian. Nicely done. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Christian uses a basement dropkick to the knee and it looks like it might be TIME TO GO TO SCHOOL~! Dropkick connects to the BUTT of the jaw and RVD goes down. Christian misses a clothesline. Second rope flying axe handle, Christian goes down. One day, RVD might even consider coming off the top with that. You know...for more impact and stuff. Tor-NADO DDT from Rob Van Dam, Christian got planted! Booker T comes running down the aisle with a chair! RVD goes to irish whip Christian into the ropes. Booker hits Christian with a chair to the back! Christian gets knocked to the ground by RVD, who is already climbing the turnbuckle. Five Star Frog Splash!!! 1....2....3!! It's all over. Rob Van Dam shakes hands with Booker T, showing that their plan worked perfectly.

My Opinion: As close to a ***** match as possible...but unfortunately, it was missing something, so I can only give it ****3/4.

***************

Okay, not truly five stars......

But still, a ****3/4 star match involving RVD needs some love.

This was from a throwaway Heat card, no less - and on the same show I Jindrack / Cade got carried to a ***3/4 match.

...no, not really? Didn't think so.

RaveX 19 - Done by someone not of RaveX apparently, but given the RaveX seal. Or that.

Anyways, with this new release, it means, I'm EWR bound again.

Oh and of course. Images to be provied... Ah fiddly. Apparently, RaveX #8 Images and cruders is done. Can't be the supplier of non-images.

So close yet so far away.

Giant Gonzales vs Nathan Jones.

Match Background: Gonzales is making his debut at this show. Nathan is making his debut at this show. Gonzales and Nathan are currently feuding. Neither has managed to get an in-ring victory in this feud. This match is for the MW Television title.

The Match: Giant Gonzales DOESN'T take a page out of Andre the Giant's book and hits an incredibly weak headbutt on Nathan. Nathan reverses a waistlock. Messed up bodyslam by Nathan almost kills Gonzales. Flapjack from Nathan on Gonzales. Nathan Jones moves in for the kill. Big Kick!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!! Giant Gonzales slides to the outside and grabs a chair, then climbs back into the ring. Nathan turns around...and gets planted with a huge chair shot to the head! He is left down and out on the canvas.

My Opinion: -***. Giving out negative stars makes me feel bad inside. Well, not really, but it should!

Sorry UYI- my ego needs a bit of a fuck. :)

Jerry Lynn vs Low Ki.

Match Background: None.

The Match: Lynn just WAFFLES Low Ki with a STIFF chop that hurt ME to watch! Jerry Lynn strikes Low Ki. Implant DDT by Jerry Lynn! I will always and forever mark out for that move. Implant DDT by Jerry Lynn! I will always and forever mark out for that move. Low Ki blocks a kick from Jerry Lynn. Hard impact Russian Leg Sweep by Low Ki. According to some other reviewers around here, 'legsweep' is one word. T-Bone suplex by Low Ki, Lynn got folded in half to the point that he was almost able to fellate himself. Mighty impressive, don't you think? Hooks the leg for a two count. Lynn backdrops Low Ki out of a piledriver attempt. That took a lot out of Jerry Lynn. Low Ki takes a NICE hurrancarana from Jerry Lynn. There's a two count on the pin. Tor-NADO DDT from Jerry Lynn, Low Ki got planted! Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Lynn charges into the corner but EATS BOOT. Low Ki connects with a HARD right hand, sending the opponent down to the mat again. Lynn blocks a kick from Low Ki. THERE IT IS! A legdrop to the BACK OF THE HEAD! I swear, that makes any match just a little bit better. I don't mind telling you that every time I see it, that's for sure. Kaz Hayashi comes running down the aisle with a chair! Lynn goes to irish whip Low Ki into the ropes. Kaz hits Low Ki with a chair to the back! Low Ki can barely stand. Cradle To Grave!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!! Kaz Hayashi remains in the ring. Low Ki pushes the referee away. Low Ki drops Kaz to the canvas. Low Ki quickly locks on the Dragon Clutch!

My Opinion: This match had it all! Big bumps, incredible, crisp moves, sound psychology. Simply one of the best matches of the year. *****!

Damn, menacing must be the one he's missing. Oh well, back to the ol' editor then. Thanks for that. And some of those pictures that were updated weren't really so bad to begin with, I didn't think. Some of them, however, werer terrible originally. Especially Ted Hart.

The new pic suits him I agree.

I'm at least assuming Menacing is needed. I think maybe Superstar look as well, so don't forget that as an added bonus.

That's the problem with the gimmicks. You aren't sure how to apply it to a certain person. It's basically guess and test. Which sucks and usually bombs.

Yeah, I know, most of mine bombed quite badly when I tried to do something different and original, so now pretty much everyone runs the same friggin gimmick. Except Matrix. He got massively over with a Mysterious gimmick. Everything that involves him turns to gold. Who is he? Who?

And . . . how does a gimmick turn unique? Raven's did it so fast I thought that was what he started with, but no one elses has for me as yet.

To get the unique gimmick, they must be in an angle that gets 100 overall.

I say angle, because a match is impossible to do so.

Here's a newly reformed WCW card I made. I did the exact same card twice the first to start the feuds and the second to finish them. On the first are Dames rankings and on the second is Keith's rankings. This is just to prove how mean Dames is in this game and how nice Keith is in this game.

Dames Ratings:

WGTT vs Filthy Animals - 2 1/4*

Booker T vs Rhyno - 2*

Christopher Daniels vs Low Ki - 2 1/4*

John Cena vs Edge - 2 1/4*

Raven vs Sting - 1 1/2*

AJ Styles vs Rob Van Dam - 3 3/4*

Chris Jericho vs Chris Benoit - 3 3/4*

Brock Lesnar vs Kurt Angle - 3*

Keith's ratings:

WGTT vs Filthy Animals - 4*

Booker T vs Rhyno - 3*

Christopher Daniels vs Low Ki - 4*

Edge vs John Cena - 3*

Raven vs Sting - 3*

AJ Styles vs Rob Van Dam - 4 1/2*

Chris Jericho vs Chris Benoit - 4 1/2*

Brock Lesnar vs Kurt Angle - 4*

Dames is all about match quality.

Keith is more about balanced but slightly leaning with crowd heat.

The thing is Ki/Daniels got 100% match quality and 67% crowd heat. I was expecting at least a 3 1/2*. Same with WGTT/Filthy Animals. The Dames is about match quality can't be true when he gives my Goldberg/Trips match 4* and HBK/Orton 4 3/4*.

It's not just about one factor.

Crowd heat / reaction does play a factor with Dames, it's just not the primary factor. I'd say with Dames the primary factor is match quality, and with Keith its crowd reaction, but neither is THE be-all end-all factor for either man.

Remember, though, that "match quality" entails more than just guys having Bret-Hart-in-his-prime stats - I'm currently getting a steady stream of 3 or 4 star matches out of Dames with my Scott Steiner / Tommy Dreamer tag team because I've played the strengths of both men (brawling) by booking them against primarily other brawlers.

A friend of mine wants to donwload 4.0, but it's not on the official website anymore. What's up with that?

It's on the EWAdditions forum, if your friend still wants it.
