EWR 4.0 Has Officially Been Set Free!

Recommended Posts

Started a new TNA game. Took me 10 months to get a tv deal on Spike TV.

Colt Cabana just ended Raven's 11 month world title reign...that's about the only noteworthy thing that's happened reciently

I'm looking at tossing some tag teams together and I was wondering.

Will putting one guy with 90+ speed with a guy with 90+ tech make a compatible team? Both have high brawl too.

Everywhere I've looked all the scenario's are gone. If anyone can get me a 4.0 Scenario of any of the 80's one that'd rock.

*****..........

Now, i know the obvious ones like Daniels/Jericho and Shelton/Brock, and a lot more, but is there anything in the game or the editor that tells you who works well with who to produce 5 star matches?

Heh...it's cool reading this thread from the beginning, 'now'. Seeing as TEW's ben released, and we're all pretty much used to the happenings of the game and stuff, just weird..I guess.

Whoever has related stats (almost exactly the same in Brawl, Tech, and Speed) are the people you put together. They'll usually produce.

Those stats should be high though if you want a five star, although high and equal brawls (only) don't generally make a good match like the other two do if you have Dames as your reviewer.

With Keith all you need for five star matches are two stars with really high overness and decent stats.

Anyone else have a weird tag division? Mine is poor at the moment, just two teams, Seth & Gabriel Knight; Nate Webb and Insane Dragon. I lost Sanders AND Siaki too WWE, so there goes my main tag team project over the 2 years of my game, Chris Stylez went down injured; Chris Divine got badly injured and Quiet Storm improved so much that the skill differential is MASSIVE.

But when the Lost Boyz, Fast and Furious and the Enforcers come out of development, I'll be set.

I have a healthy tag division in my WWe game.

Hostile Intent: Sean O'haire/Tank Tolland [finisher: The Apocalypse]

London and Sabin: Paul London/Chris Sabin

Lords of The Ring: Rob Conway/nick Dinsmore

Playa Inc.: Ruckus/Onyx [finisher: Players Ball]

Sonjay and Jardi: Sonjay Dutt/Jardi Franz [finisher: Party Crasher]

The Damned: Tajiri/Excaliber [finisher: Soul Crusher]

SAT: Jose Maximo/Joel Maximo

Stretching Crew: Shelton Benjamin/Charlie Haas

Healthy? I'd call that a superb tag division.

And what's the best way to have two wrestlers feud against one, but still maintain comperable overness levels? I'm planning on debuting Chris Sydal and Kriss Sprules (who I've renamed Charles Sydal :D) as lackey's for Cade Sydal, who is massively over, and have them cost whoever he's feuding with the blow-off match; and then feud that guy with him (atm it's looking like a face-turning Lightweight Champion Pure Talent).

Now, since Talent is 91 over, and those guys are around 30, I'm worried about their being a significant dragging up of sorts of one guy, who might then want out of the tag team . . . I was planning on going with feuding with Chris and then Charles; with Talent maybe losing both and going 'the hell this' and getting a handicap match which he ends up winning. I'm not too worried about Talent's overness, the guys touring with Toryumon and has massive charisma, so I can't write him. Strange thing is the other feds that had him dropped him, and none of the other national feds want to touch him . . . since he has 4 of his 5 stats in the 90's through the wonders of development, I'm flabbergasted by this.

If you feud one guy with the high over guy, his overness will shoot up to at least the 80s. The only way to counter balance that is to have the other guy wrestle throw away matches with someone of equal talents. It can either be random matches with random guys of equal talents or an unofficial feud with one guy of equal talents.

Feuding both guys with the high overness guy in seperate feuds would also work, if that's what you were planning on doing in your booking.

hahahaha that's GOLD!!!

And about the tag team thing . . . damnit. My division is kind of around the 50s in overness right now, apart from my breakout team Forever Knight, since Seth Knight, with all his stats bar overness in the mid-high 90's is someone I'm grooming for the top along with Raven and Matrix. (I love my development territory).

I guess I'll make the Sydal's do a lot of jobbing in between I guess.

However, that overness gain will work well when I debut Wicked Lonestar or Jonny C (with changed names, and the one with the highest charisma when they come out of development gets the spot, the other thrown into a makeshift tag team forever :D) as a Raven-protege feuding with the same peeps he does.

Ugh. I just re-started my ROH game, and TNA jumped right up to national level. Bye bye AJ.

What is it with the old-school promoters though? I've got CZW and 3PW under old-school promoters. The risk shoots down to the 15% level and they start hiring Duggan, Snuka and a load of other oldies. Hell, CZW's top star is Dusty friggin' Rhodes!

I dunno, i dont think it tops..

Well junior, you *finally* earned your booker-man pay by putting me back in the main event. It's a good job i'm so great, or this conspiracy to keep Y2J out of the main event scene might have halted the career of the greatest showman in wrestling history.

Okay, here's a question.

For certain people, they'll walk if you fire a friend or relative.

Now, say i tried to fire Michael Shane, could HBK use his pull to have him not fired?

I thought they were cousins . . . that's what TNA says.

And whether HBK tries to stop him . . . it depends on his morale and attitude I think. He may threaten to walk, he may not . . . you can always give it a shot, I don't *think* it affects morale if you don't actually fire them.

And looking at a newly created game . . . if HBK's morale is up it shouldn't bring him down too far, and if his written I don't think he can walk.

Chris Jericho vs Christopher Daniels.

Match Background: Jericho and Daniels have been feuding for quite some time now. Chris Jericho is the reigning Intercontinental champion, and has been since 27 March 2005.

The Match: Dropkick connects to the BUTT of the jaw and Jericho goes down. Christopher Daniels kicks the leg, knocks Jericho down, and goes to work on it. Spin kick by Christopher Daniels to the face sends the opponent FLYING across the ring. Flying elbow from Christopher Daniels connects. Jericho counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. Chris Jericho hits a rolling kick on Daniels. Konnan has ruined any chance for me ever enjoying this maneuver again with his shitty execution of it. Spinning bulldog in the corner and Daniels is down! Hooks the leg for a two count. Christopher Daniels powers out of a Chris Jericho headlock. Superkick by Christopher Daniels practically knocks out all of Chris Jericho's teeth! Hooks the leg for a two count. Diamond Dust from Christopher Daniels, Jericho is out! Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Jericho reverses a waistlock. Jericho just WAFFLES Daniels with a STIFF chop that hurt ME to watch! Chris Jericho misses a big legdrop after stalling too long. Implant DDT by Christopher Daniels! I will always and forever mark out for that move. Chris Jericho is in trouble. Angel's Wings! 1....2....3.

My Opinion: As close to a ***** match as possible...but unfortunately, it was missing something, so I can only give it ****3/4.

Jericho and Daniels didn't deliver *****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
