Besides this RAW being totally kickass so far, I have to say the Women's scene is again a high point. I think it's even better with Molly, Gail, and Trish than with Vicky and Jazz. Gail was a great heel tonight and Molly plays a great heel herself.

 

I also found it funny that Trish was doing alot of Austin's moves tonight and she blew a spot tonight. Austin of course MADE WWE style. So that furthers the point that WWE style can cause blown spots and even worse injuries because you're trying to lock yourself into one way of doing things you're not familiar with.

I loved the women's match. Wish it got a little more time, but you get what you get. And Molly is such a good heel. Gail wasn't bad herself, but that last spot was pretty damn awesome.

Raw's been kick-ass? Eh, hasn't gotten above "meh" from me yet. Lance Storm/Goldust skit was funny, and Hurricane was fun (as always), but beyond that Raw's been pretty blah.

The finish was great, and Molly is wonderful. Too many blown spots from the challengers for me to really enjoy it, though.

The finish was really well done, but Trish blew a spot she's done hundreds of times before, and Gail nearly killed herself with that plancha. Yes they have had better performances before but if this is the 'highpoint', you can have it.

I just saw the end of the women's match, and I didn't think it was that bad. Most of the women's matches have been fun to watch, but who really expects to see Flair/Steamboat out of them?

I didn't interpret his latest post like that. I don't really care that in 2001 Chyna had the belt. I care about 2003. Where Molly has the belt despite being a jobber for the past little while, Gail Kim has completely flopped, Trish is stale, Jazz is AWOL, Ivory is in and out and Victoria is directionless.

Trish is fun to watch, Gail seems to ahve new life now that she has a discernable character, Victoria, Molly, and Jazz are all very talented women with painful looking movesets.

At first I heard the injury was a work so Teddy Long could go off about the "man" screwing him again but I think with Teddy saddled up- they had to scratch it.

But after being the top face for a year and a half- her character is starting to get a bit stale. I was happy when they were having her do jobs and moving her down the card a bit.

 

Gail seems to ahve new life now that she has a discernable character

 

She badly fucked up a pescado tonight. She's still very green and they need to send her down to OVW pronto.

Has no current programme and is directionless right now.

 

Molly

 

I like her but it was a mistake to put the title on her without building her up first.

 

Jazz

 

Has not been on TV for a while.

2. She messed up one move. She doesn't need to be sent down, she needs to continue wrestling now that she (GASP!) has heat.

In today's wrestling world people become stale much more quickly. Trish is starting to show signs of it and they should depush her just a bit so this doesn't occur. That's why I was pleased why she was doing clean jobs to Molly recently.

I think part of that had to do with the fact that Bull Buchanan sucked. I don't think they should give up on Gail and send her packing. Send her to OVW for a while and then when she is ready- you bring her back. If she starts becoming a competent wrestler then she'll get over.

I just saw the end of the women's match, and I didn't think it was that bad. Most of the women's matches have been fun to watch, but who really expects to see Flair/Steamboat out of them?

The end of the match was the best part, and I am not being sarcastic. I liked how Molly won, but the match overall sucked like all the reat of the womens matches.

The crazy thing is, I find the women's wrestling segments to be one of the most entertaining parts of the show these days. Sure, they don't put on the smoothest of matches, and aren't the greatest actresses to ever grace the small screen, but you can tell they really care out there and are working hard. This is more than I can say for a vast majority of the men on the RAW roster.

 

That said, I think the women's division is stale, and it's not Trish's fault either. Each week on RAW, you can count on one segment reserved for a women's match, usually involving 4 or 5 of the "divas." I'm probably in the minority, but I would like to see them have TWO women's matches a night once in a while ... just to shake things up.

Victoria's been battling an injured leg for awhile. That's why she's wearing the leg brace. Last week's Raw looked to be the final straw. When she first came down to the ring interfering she threw around Stratus? and busted her leg. That's where she hurt herself. It was either from preforming the move or from her opponent landing on her leg. (perhaps a combination of both) It was immediatly evident and looked very, very sick. She gutted it out afterwards though. Kudos to her and kudos to the women tonight for despite being out there for only a couple of minutes were easily the best part of Raw.

I don't care if they're working hard or better than 2001. It's still really boring and hokey. They need to kill the division for good.
