EDIT: Yet the WMV videos on their site seem to work. Wierd. Eitherway, say what you will about Nash, Yukes did a damn good animation on that Jackknife. Looks way better than IRL.

This game has the best chance of dethroning No Mercy of any I've seen. (Oddly enough I said as much at GameFAQS and they told me that SYM already DID. Not saying I agree, but it's nice to see some second opinions and less NM cocksucking occaisonally.)

I personally say fuck No Mercy. It was a great game and all, but VPW2 was so much better in my opinion.

Well, only 3 editions of Smackdown have been released since No Mercy came out.

 

...Royal Rumble for the Dreamcast.

 

...Wrestlemania X-8 and now XIX for the Gamecube.

 

...RAW I and II for the X-Box.

 

No Mercy, although limited by graphics, has the best gameplay the WWF/WWE EVER has featured.

The Kurt Angle videos are the best yet. His entrance with his pyro is dead-on. The suplex and submission animations are awesome. And the crowd chants USA(!) at one point in Video 3. Angle has some nifty new moves as well.
