OK...now that we've had the bizarre firey inferno for Kane happen for Raw...let's put that aside for a while.

 

Now...with Angle still the champion, Brock having tapped out, Eddy still US Champ and such...what will the scene be for Smackdown?

 

Who will be the next to run for Angle's gold, if it's not Lesnar.

 

If it's not Lesnar, what will he be doing next, since he lost to Angle?

 

Will the Cruiserweight title EVER be defended?

 

Where have Benjamin and Haas been?

Rob Van Dam will show up in a Smackdown shirt saying that Raw is an insult to his career and he demands a trade.

 

Harry Smith debuts and teams with Benoit, who feud with WGTT culminating in a ***** match at No Mercy or SurSer.

 

Hopefully this happens September 30th in Milwaukee.

Angle cuts a promo how he's defeated the monster Brock Lesnar (even with your standard McMahon run-in) and that he's now the Undisputed King of Smackdown. John Cena's music hits, he enters the ring, and he starts talking about how over a year ago, his first match was with Angle in which he almost won, and a year later, he defeates a legend in the Undertaker. An Angle vs. Cena feud would be nice.

Benoit challenges Angle for title - leading to a mini program culminating in Angle vs. Benoit match for title in few weeks. Brock interferes in the match (make up a reason), leading to Brock vs. Benoit. Eddy challenges Angle, setting up our two ppv main events.

 

Chavo comes back as a face and teams with Tajiri to take on Team Angle.

 

Ultimo Dragon is allowed to wrestle occasionally. He gets involved in a 3 way title feud with Kidman & Rey.

 

Matt Hardy turns face and leads his legions of mattitude followers against John Cena.

 

UT and A-Train continue to fight each other, with Big Show in the mix completely keeping them away from ruining any matches with any of smackdowns talented guys.

Why? No one buys Benoit as a heel and the turn would kill the heat he has now. And I wouldn't want Benoit to leech off the heat that TWGTT has EARNED by being the damn good bastards they are. No 15 minute promos here.

Rey Mysterio defended the Cruiserweight title against Shannon Moore on HeAT this past Sunday (before SummerSlam).

 

Mysterio squashed Moore... it was about a 3-4 minute match, kinda sad.

If they have any brains they will launch Eddie to the top of the card NOW. He is the hottest thing going in the promotion. An Angle/Guerrero feud over the title would be a good one.

I think yesterday's RAW sort of disproved the hope that they have any brains. Considering what WWE did with their last on the rise character, I think its more likely that Eddie will be in an exploding lowrider than that he'll be pushed to the main events.
