Guest The Grand Pubah of 1620 Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 (edited) Now I understand the fact that 9/11/01 was one of the darkest days in American history and that today is the anniversary, but damn. I think it's time we get on with our lives and stop harping on something that can't be changed. Edited September 11, 2003 by Johnson1620
Nevermortal Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 I agree with you, but you're opening up one big-ass can of worms.
Guest Jay Z. Hollywood Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 First to point out you got the date wrong- which means people like you probably SHOULDN'T stop hearing about it.
Zack Malibu Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 I don't know what was so bad about 9/11/00, considering 9/11/01 was the unfortunate tragedy.
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 9/11/00 Man that day sucked, I had the flu like a motherfucker. Sorry you are tired of hearing about my sickness problems. Won't happen again.
treble Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 Now I understand the fact that 9/11/00 was one of the darkest days in American history and that today is the anniversary, but damn. Guest Eagan469 Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 9/11/00 I know The Cell was released, but I still wouldn't call it the darkest day in history.
Guest The Grand Pubah of 1620 Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 Big fucking deal guys. I hit the wrong number, but my post still stands. And unless you are all more ignorant then I thought you get the point.

I hit the wrong number, but my post still stands. And unless you are all more ignorant then I thought you get the point. Yes, I'm pretty sure we got the point. I know you are pretty much 3 steps ahead of us on the food chain but we do generally have a pretty good grasp on generation defining moments. Sorry to inconvenience you.
razazteca Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 Well until Iraq, Iran, Syria and the rest become commonwealths or states 51, 52, 53 nothing will change. Its not like the networks have anything worthy to report on tv.
Guest Anglesault Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 think it's time we get on with our lives and stop harping on something that can't be changed. Does that mean kids should stop taking history in school?
justsoyouknow Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 Does this mean that I wasted my time getting that 4 on the AP US History exam? Damn, I feel cheated...
Guest The Old Me Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 This is exactly why people hate you Johnson, you fucking idiot.

razazteca Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 You know what is fucked up is that somehow the british have taken over the yahoo NFL chatrooms and are singing "American towers are falling down"!
Art Sandusky Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 Does this mean that I wasted my time getting that 4 on the AP US History exam? Damn, I feel cheated... A 4? Man, you should have come to me for help more often.
Sandman9000 Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 5 is teh perfection. 4 is just regular overachieving.
justsoyouknow Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 Well, in a class of 50, I'm one of three other kids that got a 4 on the exam, so I'm alright with it. Everyone else got 2's, with one person getting a 3. Somehow I managed to get lumped in with the smart kids.

Does that mean kids should stop taking history in school? Is that what I said AS? No, now if you have to take what I say out of context you are dumber then I thought.
Guest The Grand Pubah of 1620 Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 dumber then I thought -2 You suck Eagan.

So why should we forget about it? You were stupid enough to start a thread about it, so you damn well better be able to take the heat. And you typed in the wrong date to boot, you imbecile. Clearly, you need to be further educated on your dates. And shit, why should we forget about 9-11 yet learn about the Second World War? It is important to learn and remember these unfortunate events so that they don't happen again. It reaffirms the horror of the event, and how we should do everything possible to ensure it doesn't happen again. Moreover, it is an important day for 5,000 families who had loved ones die 2 years ago. In your own little selfish world this may not be an important date, but for the rest of the world who stays conscious of their current events, its a very important anniversary to remember why this happened and how it should never happen again.

Banky you ignorant slut. You are as bad as AS by taking what I said out of context. You were doing nothing more then putting words in my mouth. Go back and read my intial post again. That is what I meant, and nothing more or less.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 You said you tired of people talking about it. They are pissing and moaning. We shouldn't worry about something we can't change. Now read what I have to say. Ignorant slut...? You slay me.
rising up out of the back seat-nuh Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 I wish I had an ignorant slut. That is all.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 Wow, I laughed more reading this thread than I did watching "The Mullets." 9/11/00?...
