CARDIFF - A Welsh farmworker is under police investigation

after allegedly biting off a kitten's head in front of 20

children, the London Sun said Friday. Dewi Richards, 32, is

free on bail on cruelty charges as Royal Society for the

Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and police interrogate wit-

nesses. The mother of Kaya Kemp, 12, said the girl was show-

ing off the 2-week-old cat to friends when the kitten es-

caped from her box. A man picked the cat up and "put her

head in his mouth. He bit down and blood spurted everywhere,"

the woman told the Sun, saying she then began hitting the

man. "He said if I didn't stop he'd bite my head off, too,"

she said. The man then ran off with the body of the kitten.

Richards was arrested after complaints to police and the

RSPCA in Llanelli, South Wales.

Lost in all this is the trauma that was caused to the child who owned the kitten, much less the 19 or so other children who witnessed it. That's an image that probably won't leave a child's mind for a long time.

Of course any human being that would take a kitten from a child, put it in his mouth and bite its fucking head off is a normal, well functioning member of society and this couldn't possibly be the precursor to even darker things in his future like it has in other serial killers. Not at all.
