BorneAgain 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2003 Harmony's still a vamp, but for some reason she acts exactly like she did as a human, something of a rarity in the Buffyverse. Eve's got nothing on Lilah, but I'll wait until the season progresses before I judge. I can't wait to see Spike and the Angel crew interact next week, especially between him and Harmony. Oh, and the lack of Connor made me enjoy this episode so much more.

RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2003 Harmony doesn't kill Humans any more and only drinks animal blood ala Angel. Of course, Angel will probably find her feeding on someone sometime in this season... How could anyone have found the medallion since it was buried in the hellmouth under a blown up Sunnydale? I mean, it's easy to say "The Senior Partners", but that doesn't have the same kind of fun..
BorneAgain 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2003 But that's how Harmony acted as a vamp on Buffy too. I never said she didn't. All I stated was that human Harmony was pretty much the same as vamp Harmony, something that both seasons 4 and 5 of Buffy illustrated rather well.

BorneAgain 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2003 Maybe it's magical powers caused it to appear at W&H since it came from them?? But then why they mail it to themselves? Wouldn't it be a lot more practical to simply do a spell and have whisked to their offices?

Or maybe Spike could tell that he was inside and he added the little touch of it being in a package?

The slow-mo portion of that cat fight is GOLDEN. I'm highly anticipating any "blondie bear" interaction that she's going to have with Spike during this season. BorneAgain 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2003 Hey did anyone notice a Masked Wrestler walking around the office??? Pushing around the mailcart? Yeah I think Wesley gave him a funny look. Didn't somebody say he was going to play a role in some luchador episode coming up in a few weeks?

Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2003 God, I loved that episode. The stuff with Harmony was great, and the Ritual Sacrifice gag had me in stitches. This is gonna be a fun season, I'm thinking.
LaParkaMarka 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2003 The Ritual Sacrifices gag was straight outta Simpsons(the Automated 911). It was still GREAT though. I was marking out throughout that ep. Harmony brought the comedy, Fred brought numerous shots of her legs for no apparent reason, Angel brought the ass kicking. Fred's little speech was pretty lame though. So who thinks Knox is evil? He has to be evil. I loved how Harmony no-sold the Cordy thing halfway through her little lament. Great stuff. I am so glad this show is back for another season. I mean, it's easy to say "The Senior Partners", but that doesn't have the same kind of fun.. Senior Partners = Ubervamps Ok, I shouldn't even kid about that. I know I sure don't want to ever see those lame buggers again. The bit with Harm talking about Cordy was so Joss. Funny.
Guest JMA Report post Posted October 2, 2003 I never pictured Fred as a country music fan. Then she busted out the Dixie Chicks poster.
Ripper 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2003 1: Loved the fights in this ep. It seems like a different team is handling the chorography. I likes though...I likes. 2: Whats with Angels hair? I mean...really. And why does Gunn have hair...he looks stupid. And why is Wesley still have stubble. It made sense last year, now he is just trying to look gruff. Shave man. 3: Harmony worked, and I had a feeling it would. Her paridgm shift from "nearly crying" to "ANYYYWAY" thing with Cordy was hi-larious. And she was looking like quite the dish with her cleave bursting from that top... 4: Eve was way too trying to be Lilah. Although she does get points for the "What WOULD you like passing through my lips" line. And she is trying the walk. She can't do the LILAH~! yet, but she might be able to get there. She will have to grow on me, but I think this is more just longing for Lilah than her being a bad character. 5: Fred and her legs...they were there the whole show. They should have gotten their own credit. Should be a running joke really. 6: I liked the Gunn as lawyer, Gunn as regular guy thing. I liked that he still acted like Gunn outside the courtroom, but I wouldn't a better knowledge been more useful instead of his super duper law knowing powers. I mean, knowledge of demons, something. I think that this will end up being one of the more intresting things of the season. They HAD to have put something else in there. 7: I miss Angels old wardrobe. Something about frilly shirts and pinstripes just take the coolness off it a notch or two. 8: The opening scene was HILARIOUS. The throw back to the pilot episode with the music and the walk off after saving the girl(with the same music and all) the they just pull the rug from under you with the hilarious "I...help...the helpless..." thing. 9: I will save all comments on Marsters for next week. Yeah... Is it just me or did Angel make the same wisecrack at the vamp in last night's episode that he used in the pilot? I can't really remember it now but I remember the two sounding very similar. Ripper 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2003 Yeah, something about the girl not being intrested. i also noticed that they have redone the vamp make-up. I like this one better. As long as they never EVER go back to the buffy season 1 or angel pilot episode makeup everything will be fine. Marsters make-up in the opening credits is great. Mole 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2003 (edited) Man, I missed the opening sequence part being the same as the pilot. The whole Gunn thing has me a little sketchy. It is a interesting little twist, but I don't know if I like it. I like the old Gunn, but I'll give the new one a chance. I thought I would hate Harmony right away, but I like the way she is acting. She isn't as annoying as she used to be. The whold mourning thing of Cordy, then changing her mind had me ROLLING on the ground. I am sick, so I started coughing and I couldn't stop. I think the amulet thing is going to be a big question of the season. Basically, who the fuck sent the thing? And I still don't get the whole in the dark thing. This is a preview for next weeks episode. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Spike (James Marsters) mysteriously materializes in Angel's (David Boreanaz) office through the magic of an amulet, but no one, including Spike himself, understands the reason he has returned or why he is now a ghost. Meanwhile, Angel jeopardizes his own life when he tries to stop one of his evil clients (guest star Victor Raider-Wexler) from using human bodies as vessels for demon spirits Edited October 2, 2003 by Mole

It made sense last year, now he is just trying to look gruff. Shave man. I noticed Angel's hair right off the bat and thought the same thing. He needs a bit of a trim. As for Gunn...I was at least halfway through the episode before I realized "That's what's different--he has hair." And I agree, he needs to shave his head bald again. It just looks better on him for some reason. And Wesley with stubble=hot. *grin* This episode was just fun. I laughed so many times I lost count, and I'm hoping the rest of the season is as fun as last night's episode. I can't wait to see the interactions between Angel and Spike. I'm thinking possible comedy gold here.
