Enigma Posted September 19, 2003 Report Posted September 19, 2003 "Future WWE house show bookings seem to indicate an imminent split of Los Guerreros, as 10/6 in Trenton has Eddy vs. Chavo vs. Rhyno listed as a three-way." -- Dave Meltzer Wrestling Observer Online
OldSchoolWrestling Posted September 19, 2003 Report Posted September 19, 2003 Although I love them as a team, that might be good as it would be a push of Chavo. Eddie is carrying the team right now.
Aero Posted September 19, 2003 Report Posted September 19, 2003 Sounds good... I'll actually be going to that show with floor seats. Last I checked, the main event is scheduled to be Brock vs. Angle vs. Benoit vs. Big Show.
Lil' Bitch Posted September 19, 2003 Report Posted September 19, 2003 Possible Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Chavo heel turn in the works!
Papacita Posted September 19, 2003 Report Posted September 19, 2003 No need for the spoiler tag Rico, people have been speculating about it for a few weeks now. I think a Chavo heel turn would be cool. I'd like to see a Bret/Owen style feud between he and Eddie.
Enigma Posted September 19, 2003 Author Report Posted September 19, 2003 If it hasn't happened, it's not a spoiler as far as I'm concerned.
razazteca Posted September 19, 2003 Report Posted September 19, 2003 So how soon until Chavo loses a hair match?
EdwardKnoxII Posted September 20, 2003 Report Posted September 20, 2003 So how soon until Chavo loses a hair match? You know with Chavo losing more and more of his hair he's looking more like he is Eddie's older brother.
Zack Malibu Posted September 20, 2003 Report Posted September 20, 2003 I stand by the fact that Chavo should have been the one to interrupt/attack Eddie during the El Paso Smackdown. Having Chavo turn heel in front of his family and home crowd would have gotten him much more of a reaction than when it (inevitably) happens, IMO.
Guest Choken One Posted September 20, 2003 Report Posted September 20, 2003 They could do that at Survivor Series with the Quasi Home Town. (Houston)... It would be a bigger stage...if Chavo channeled Owen and forced Granny Guerrero to throw in the towel...I'd mark like crazy... Vince is bringing back old gimmicks...when the last Towel Match?

Hector should be involved in this somehow, I also think every luchadore with the Guerrero/Guerrera name should be involved in this. The world needs to have a Chavo rudo team vs Eddie technico team.
Guest Choken One Posted September 20, 2003 Report Posted September 20, 2003 I'd Mark for a old school Survior series match like the Harts had... Take Eddy, Chavo, Hector and the other guerreo no one remembers against Cena and his Posse. (Posse= 3 jobbers in Wigger wear)
LooseCannon25 Posted September 20, 2003 Report Posted September 20, 2003 To be honest, when Chavo returned last week to help Eddie beat Cena I kinda saw a heelish Chavo with some foreshadowing.....It was like they were making him to be the kid of the family looking for recognition and when he doesnt feel like he's being respected enough he's gonna snap....Well, i might be wrong but that was my take on it

I still push for my Guerrero Family Survivor Series Match... They can just save it for a Smackdown Match in El Paso or Houston and Keep Eddy for Series...

Lil' Bitch Posted September 20, 2003 Report Posted September 20, 2003 SSeries will be in Dallas this year actually. Anyway, I'd mark out for the return of...Pepe!

What exactly WAS the excuse there from WWE? I know King was in legal trouble but what excuse did they come up with? Lawler chickened out? sick? missed flight? paid Shawn off?

I want to say the cop-out was Lawler knew he was better than the Harts so he let Michaels get the match, but don't quote me.

Lawler chickened out? sick? missed flight? paid Shawn off? They said that Lawler sent down word that he didn't have to wrestle the Harts because he knew he was already better than them and he let Shawn Michaels wrestle in his place so he could get revenge against Bret Hart for Survivor Series '92, where Hart defeated Michaels in the main event.
Guest Choken One Posted September 20, 2003 Report Posted September 20, 2003 Any reason for shawn? Or was it that he was the only Available Heel? I mean I know they had a match the year before but not like they have a history or anything
Enigma Posted September 20, 2003 Author Report Posted September 20, 2003 I do remember a pre-PPV promo where Shawn did mention the previous Survivor Series match and stated, "We have some unfinished business." He then also gave the infamous line, "I still got my gold and you don't" which was ironic because this is when HBK was carrying around the fake I-C Title.
