Fish/Seafood...

Recommended Posts

I am an avid seafood fan, however my girlfriend can't stand it, so I rarely get a chance to eat it.....

I really like: Crab Legs, Crab Cakes, Lobster Tail, Shrimp(cooked any way) Scallops, and clams.

I have never had Oysters or non-fried style clams, but would like to try both. I am going back east this week so I may have to check a place out.

I've never been a seafood fan. I like fried shrimp and stuff that doesn't taste fishy, but everything else no.

I found Lobster to be extremely overrated. It has no taste, unless you dip it in the butter sauce.

I love fried shrimp, crab cakes and flounder. I've had some decent sushi, too.

If it comes from the water, chances are I'll eat it. I'm a fan of devouring any kind of animal, for the most part.

I'm all for eating inferior beings and their children, I like fish but I'm not big on shellfish. Haven't tried it extensively, though.

Major seafood and sushi eater here. Shrimp, lobster, crab, fish roe, eel, clams, oysters, crawdads, squid, octopus, seaweed and many varieties of fish. Urchin sucks ass though...

And lobster is an expensive, glorified version of shrimp in my eyes. However, the green stuff that's found in a lobster is quite tasty in my opinion.

I live on the coast of Maine, so I eat my fair share of seafood. Shrimp, Clams, Swordfish, Salmon and Lobster are probably what I eat the most, but I work right next to some of the biggest seafood attraction restaurants in the state so I eat a good deal of it.

I'm in Maine, too, so I get the good seafood. Note - there are no Red Lobsters

in Maine. There used to be a few, but they didn't do good because there are

so many better local places.

Todd, what area are you in?

Extreme Southern Maine. I work in Kittery, so we get a ton of "tourist attraction" seafood places in Kittery, York and Wells.

Shrimp is good, I probably eat shrimp once a week or so. When I lived in california and could get shark, I would eat that fairlly frequently (in a burrito).

I'm near Sanford and we usually don't venture any further south than Wells

to eat as it gets more expensive.

I know people that have moved from Maine to New Jersey and they will not

eat the seafood down there after being spoiled on Maine stuff.

Swordfish, crab, lobster, shrimp, and I especially love shellfish like clams and oysters. Raw or baked, they rule. I'm not a big fan of plain old fish fillets, though.

I like pretty much any seafood. Sushi rocks too! And even though it isn't technically sea food, there is a great cajun place in San Diego that offers fried alligator. It was a little chewy though.

Sushi, shrimp, scallops... all I've really tried. My parents mostly hate seafood, so I haven't been exposed.

People eat spiders in their sleep, you know. They crawl in your mouth.
