Art Sandusky Posted September 27, 2003 Report Posted September 27, 2003 Smarkzone wasn't Alina. Smarkzone was a guy named Barry Pinto Which could have very well been Alina making a name up, or Barry making Alina up. All I know is that this bitch was crazy enough to IM me with some name she'd previously tried to harass me on a few months ago, this time acting as if the screen name was that of her boyfriend. I don't know how I can verbalize my hatred for making posts without punctuation. Makes Barron's usual "follow people around and offer a very quick and thus annoying correction" posts even more irking.
Cuban Linx Posted September 27, 2003 Report Posted September 27, 2003 Every time Eagen's banned an angel gets it's wings.
spiny norman Posted September 27, 2003 Report Posted September 27, 2003 As a Christian, I am offended. It takes much more than a banning on a massageboard for an angel to get its wings, and you, Cuban Linx, should be ashamed for trying to say otherwise. How dare you!
Mole Posted September 27, 2003 Report Posted September 27, 2003 My money is that Eagan, PP, and the Prime guy are all the same person.

Guest The Old Me Posted September 27, 2003 Report Posted September 27, 2003 My money is that Eagan, PP, and the Prime guy are all the same person. My money is on the fact that YOU are Eagan.

You know "Thumbtack", if that is your real name, that's just the type of thing Eagan would say...

I know that HartFan used to talk to Smarkzone on IM and stuff and they were two different people. One plays tennis, the other sells Coliseum videos. And I apologise for the punctuation error- I'll edit my post.
alfdogg Posted September 27, 2003 Report Posted September 27, 2003 Are you going to apologize for saying "apologise"?
bob_barron Posted September 27, 2003 Report Posted September 27, 2003 No- Apologise is the correct spelling
Guest The Pirate in White Posted September 27, 2003 Report Posted September 27, 2003 You better consult with Word on that.
JangoFett4Hire Posted September 27, 2003 Report Posted September 27, 2003 Dames= Eagan That would rule. It would be like The Green Goblin, or Jekyl and Hyde. Eagen is Dames' maniacal alter-ego. The crash last month? It wasn't the mere error that Dames had told us all, it was Eagen as Dames' evil half purposely taking it offline. It's genius. Russ Meyer couldn't come up with a better script, with our without all those big boobied women.
bob_barron Posted September 27, 2003 Report Posted September 27, 2003 You better consult with Word on that. I did- I have my MS Word set to Canadian English and 'apologise' is correct. From the BBC- Iron manager Brian Laws has issued an apology for his behaviour after being sent to the stands during Saturday's draw at Leyton Orient. The Iron boss faces a punishment, possibly even a touchline ban, after his outburst against the fourth official at Brisbane Road. But he now admits he was in the wrong: "It was my frustration from the penalty. I thought it was diabolical and even though the referee, their fourth official was agreeing with me, I may have said one or two words that weren't appropriate. "All I can do is apologise for that. But that was a heat of the moment thing."
Lightning Flik Posted September 27, 2003 Report Posted September 27, 2003 Apologize is spelt apologise? In Canadian English? You mean I've been writing that word wrong for God knows how long? And none of my English teachers have ever corrected me on it. ...damn. You'll have to accept my apologizes in getting it wrong.

Sandman9000 Posted September 27, 2003 Report Posted September 27, 2003 Well, there is the correct way (apologize) and the backasswards Canuck way (apologise).
Mole Posted September 27, 2003 Report Posted September 27, 2003 My money is that Eagan, PP, and the Prime guy are all the same person. My money is on the fact that YOU are Eagan. Oh no, you got me.

JangoFett4Hire Posted September 27, 2003 Report Posted September 27, 2003 Banky... Cubs/Red Sox World Series... whataya say?
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted September 27, 2003 Report Posted September 27, 2003 Banky... Cubs/Red Sox World Series... whataya say? I'd love it...but there's one problem: The Red Sox would have to beat the Oakland Athletics (Banky's Team)...and that would suck. BUT, if it meant a Red Sox/Cubs World Series, than I am more than down. The two greatest stadiums of all-time in the World Series? Oh hells yes.
JangoFett4Hire Posted September 27, 2003 Report Posted September 27, 2003 Plus SOMEONE would have to win that series, right? And think of how much interest would surround that series? MLB would make an absolute killing. Oh, to make this post on-topic, um... Kotz = Eric Gagne...

MLB would make an absolute killing. Oh, to make this post on-topic, um... Kotz = Eric Gagne... The fans interest would be amazing, both fans are so rabid and passionate about their baseball, it would be off the charts.

Word...isn't a dictionary. I thought this had been covered. It was a rip on Johnson...you weren't actually supposed to do it. In any case, both are correct, depending on where you are, the US or Canada.
