AndrewTS Posted September 28, 2003 Report Posted September 28, 2003 I say this is really great news. I think we can go a little bit longer without Hunter Hearst Hogan. Don't insult Hogan by comparing him to Triple H. -Patrick Yeah, Hogan actually drew shitloads of money, which is more than HHH can claim.

Plus Hogan is pretty successful as either a face and a heel...while Trips barely does well at either.
SamoaRowe Posted September 28, 2003 Report Posted September 28, 2003 I only hope that HHH's time away will give us better things to complain about than him.
Guest Super Pissed Smark Posted September 28, 2003 Report Posted September 28, 2003 Tell me you did not just say that.
Guest TheGame2705 Posted September 28, 2003 Report Posted September 28, 2003 Don't try to reason with him. On one hand Angle did something for the business at person risk. On the other HHH has been "working" for months now with injuries to the benefit of HHH. Yeah...let's all lay down a ton of credit. If it was solely for the benefit of HHH he'd wrestle whenever he felt like it, well assuming he has all the pull in the company like most of you say. If he did it just for him, he'd pull a Nash and wrestle when he wanted, how much he wanted, and stay off house shows. Both Angle and HHH and any other workers wrestling injured do so for the benefit of the company unless they're an indy worker. They still get paid if they can't wrestle. They just don't bring in the extra. That's two points shot down and this last one showed blatant hypocrisy, throw another one in.

That really has no bearing on the subject matter and that's nitpicking about him.
Guest nikowwf Posted September 29, 2003 Report Posted September 29, 2003 HHH being gone is great cause it forces them to focus on someone else. Part of the reason everything sucks sometimes is nothing can overshine the main event, and the main event usually has HHH going over someone he has no business going over at this time in a way which completely buries them. niko
Open the Muggy Gate Posted September 29, 2003 Report Posted September 29, 2003 Triple H is gone till Jan.?? Great... wait... We know he will win the Rumble now.... DAMN!!
CanadianChris Posted September 29, 2003 Report Posted September 29, 2003 This brings up an interesting question... When was the last time a heel won the Rumble?
kirk angel Posted September 29, 2003 Report Posted September 29, 2003 This brings up an interesting question... When was the last time a heel won the Rumble? was brock a heel when he one this past years...if not then i think it was mcmahon in 99
Guest Choken One Posted September 29, 2003 Report Posted September 29, 2003 TBS is the last one to win an Offical Royal Rumble in 2000. *Remember they overturned the decison three weeks later*
DrVenkman PhD Posted October 3, 2003 Report Posted October 3, 2003 Disregarding Big Show, Steve Austin in 1997. Michaels would be the last heel to win it cleanly in 1995, though. Taking time off, to me, seems to be the time they'll bust out the New Evolution, with The Ort accusing Trips ofdropping the ball, kicking out Flair (Flair is a Legend, after all), and teaming up with Team Charisma, Maven, and possibly Batista.
DrVenkman PhD Posted October 3, 2003 Report Posted October 3, 2003 Oh shit I just figured it out... After Orton Legend Kills Flair and cuts an anti-HHH promo, he ends up winning the damn title by beating Goldberg. Meanwhile, HHH wins the RUmble, setting up Orton vs Trips for the title at Mania. Wow.
