Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2003 Fazzle, unless all that were different between us where the morning picks, I think it's safe to say, you've got me beat this week. Good job.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted September 28, 2003 God Damn Afternoon games.... I fall 8-4 and Chuck Woo Who has 9-3. We split the SNF game, which god willing my UPSET special of Saints win would tie us and then I win since We each Naturally selected Bay and I have the Tiebreaker... I said 16 for Cincy and He said 24 for Cleveland...Cincy got 21 and Cleveland had 14...That's 5 pt dif for me and 10 for him... I won my Lock as well, Which is TWO points I think...He didn't lock anything...So perhaps with my LOCK, I'm ahead of him...but I don't think so...

Cartman 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2003 Someone wanna fill me in on WHY THE FUCK I PICKED THE SAINTS??!!!???!!! I need them to win to beat Dr. Tom this week...FUCK!
Guest Choken One Report post Posted September 28, 2003 Same Here...It's that whole "I need an OUT for if I lose" You can just point "God Damn Saints!" when your ass also missed 7 other games as well but as long as you say "GOD DAMN SAINTS!" no one will think other wise... Saints are the perfect "They could win, you never know" team but they rarely ever win when you NEED them to and they bite your ass when you actually don't expect anything out of them. CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2003 I won my Lock as well, Which is TWO points I think...He didn't lock anything...So perhaps with my LOCK, I'm ahead of him...but I don't think so... Locks don't count for KKK's contest. And you usually only capitalize "He" when referring to God.
Cartman 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2003 ...I think I may have been drunk that night... That would explain the Patriots pick. and the Buffalo, and cincy games too...because ALL WEEK I have been telling people at work that Buffalo stinks, and Philly would come back with a vengence and win no matter what. Also i knew the Pats had no chance. They gave the game away. period. ...and I knew the Browns were pathetic enough for the Bengals and Lewis' defense to beat them. Human Fly 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2003 I need a Saints win to avoid the loss as well. The best I can do is tie, as our tiebreakers our identical (2nd week in a row that has happened to me).

Just John 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2003 I got owned. Pittsburgh only played the 1st quarter, Niners would have been better off not showing up at all, Browns suck and couldn't prolong Cincy's agony, Jags choked down the stretch, Chargers blew a decent lead, Pats couldn't get it done, and I get left in the dust. Not to mention I picked Chicago. Oh well, every division needs a basement dweller.
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2003 Thank god the lock doesn't apply in KKK's contest, now with both of us choosing the Pack i'm set to win by one if i've counted correctly. We were both exactly 10 off with our tie-breaker as well, before i remembered the lock doesn't count i thought i was set for a draw. 9 right so far in the pick'em (fucking Jags), the Packers better not put up a repeat performance of the Cardinals game. kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2003 (edited) Insta-results: You know, watching that Saints game almost makes me feel better that I picked the 49ers, and for the second week in a row going back and changing my Titans pick so that they would lose (and for the second week in a row losing by 1). In other “happy” news, San Diego and San Fran – two teams whose owners didn’t submit picks this week and thus relied on my week’s picks – BOTH WON!!!… Baltimore Ravens (Dr.Tom 3-1) d. Kansas City Chiefs (cartman 2-2) via Tiebreaker, and Tom won by only 2 TB points! Buffalo Bills (Eagan469’s Ghost 3-1) d. Philadelphia Eagles (MD2020 2-1) Will you mods quit banning people that are in my contest, please? Carolina Panthers (fazzle 2-1) d. Atlanta Falcons (Lightning Flik 2-2) Cleveland Browns (Chuck Woolery 2-2) d. Cincinnati Bengals (Choken One 1-3) – Chuck, your “I suck” routine isn’t going to work anymore, b*tch. Houston Texans (Bored 1-3) d. Jacksonville Jaguars (AlwaysPissedOff 3-1) San Francisco 49ers (Bravesfan 2-2) d. Minnesota Vikings (razazteca 2-2) – You owe me Braves, you owe me big. Tennessee Titans (Space Cowboy 2-2) d. Pittsburgh Steelers (kkktookmybabyaway 1-3) – I’d be 2-1-1 had I NOT reneged on my original picks and put the Titans in the win column the last two weeks. St. Louis Rams (Prime Time Andrew Doyle 2-2) d. Arizona Cardinals (Vern Gagne 1-3) New England Patriots (nl5xsk1 1-3) d. Washington Redskins (Human Fly 2-2) San Diego Chargers (Agent Bond34 2-2) d. Oakland Raiders (LaParkaMarka 2-2) Detroit Lions (Will Scarlet 2-2) d. Denver Broncos (Canadian Chris 3-1) New York Jets (Gert T 3-1) d. Dallas Cowboys (Just John 1-2) – Gert, you were two touchdowns off on you TB this week. New Orleans Saints (Flyboy 3-1) d. Indianapolis Colts (Hardyz1's Ghost 2-2) Poor Hardyz1’s Ghost never stood a chance in the TB department, which if he would have won this week, would have kept him in this match. Green Bay Packers (Spaceman Spiff 1-2) @ Chicago Bears (Swift Terror 1-1) TBD. Tiebreaker is going to decide this one, unless the score is GB 27, CHC 16. Oh, and I (probably) would have caught my mistake tomorrow. I try getting these out ASAP, so like the Associated Press calling elections, I sometimes (actually it's like most of the time) have to recall a score or two... Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted September 29, 2003 I got 11 games right so far. I missed my lock though, because the crapass Jaguars can't deal with another expansion team. I'm not picking them any more this season. I can't stand that team already, and them jobbing to the texans when they should've won solidifies it.

kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2003 No, this means one of two things. 1) Your picks go up against mine -- anybody that doesn't submit their picks has his team represented by me. 2) I'll be mentioning in the Week 5 Pick 'em thread that if Eagan doesn't give me his picks (I e-mailed him and said he's still welcome in my contest) then somebody else can claim the Bills on that Pick 'em thread (first come, first seve). If I don't get a response by Eagan the person that reserved Buffalo gets that team...
