razazteca Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 Sam Cassell had a huge game 18 points 9 assist 2 steals. Also my last second change at the utility with Drew Gooden worked out well so far.
Guest Just J Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 Cliif Robinson is having a great game, and he's sitting on the bench.
Dangerous A Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck!!!!!!!!!!! I sat Van Horn and the bastard drops 29 points and 7 boards. I benched him because he was listed as questionable/probrable with an injury. That's ok, I got my heavy hitters in Francis and Brand up tommorrow.
alfdogg Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 Fucking Bonzi. 6 points? Come on...ONE three, ONE FT and ONE more steal and I could have at least pulled even for the day. And now Boykins, my last round pick, is the only guy on my team playing today. I guess I'm fucked this week.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 30, 2003 Author Report Posted October 30, 2003 Blargh. 1) Derek Anderson didn't even make the trip for the game with Back Spasms. 2)TJ Ford is day to day with a bad ankle. The Good News DIRK! 2 Games, 48 pts 28 REB 5 Blocks I have a good shot to win all the categories, tied right now at 4.
Dangerous A Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Double Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck!! Elton Brand out 4-6 with a hairline fracture in his foot. Thank God it looked like Magloire snapped out of it and although Camby is playing like stir fried shit right now, I expect him to do better throughout the season. I am not sure who has Ray Allen, but he is electing to have arthroscopic surgery on his ankle and they won't know how long he'll be out until after the surgery.
Guest Mindless_Aggression Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Camby got 20 boards the other night. Not bad at all. I forgot to set my line up till just now. Aha. Good times.
Sandman9000 Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Well, I'm getting PWN3D. If this keeps up for a bit longer, and it looks like I'll be setting up permanent residence in the basement, I'll let everyone know of the fire sale.
Cartman Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 It figures that Yahoo would finally put Wally on IL status AFERT I waited a few days for it to happen. Oh well Only hope I got of not looking too stupid is that they say his injury may keep him out longer than first expected...AND may hinder him throughout the season.
Cuban Linx Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Down 2-6, though with quite a few games left i'm still close enough to come back in every category bar assists and maybe steals. Even with Stackhouse and Robinson unavailable my team in theory should be good enough to challenge, though the way LeBron's going he might beat me single-handedly.
Cuban Linx Posted November 1, 2003 Report Posted November 1, 2003 No luck for my team, with Kenyon Martin injuring his ankle. Hopefully he isn't out too long, though at least i'll have Glenn Robinson coming back soon to fill the hole. At least the rest of my team is going pretty good, i'm now up 6-2 against Johnson. If my calculations are correct most categories are pretty close though, this one will come down to the wire.

I wish everyone would say who there team is, I really haven't been paying attention. Oh and Cub, don't worry. You will be up 6-2 in the morning. I only had three starters playing today. You killed me. But if Kobe plays and puts up some numbers along with Lebron having another solid game, you may be in trouble.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 1, 2003 Author Report Posted November 1, 2003 Who had Rashard Lewis? Answer: Pogo did.. Oh, and despite a near triple double from TJ Ford and a nice game out of Rip Hamilton, my game is tied up at 4.
HarleyQuinn Posted November 1, 2003 Report Posted November 1, 2003 Damn...I'm just getting my ass kicked right now and Richardson still has today and the next game to miss *sigh*
razazteca Posted November 1, 2003 Report Posted November 1, 2003 I pick up a Clipper, but how long can he stay healthy? Gordan Giricek is on the waivers if anybody wants him.
Dangerous A Posted November 1, 2003 Report Posted November 1, 2003 Who are the alleged rapists? I have a decent lead, but with every team playing tonight, things could drastically change.
Sandman9000 Posted November 1, 2003 Report Posted November 1, 2003 I'm Fear The Slayers and I'm getting kicked hard in the testicles right now.
Cartman Posted November 1, 2003 Report Posted November 1, 2003 I'm Fear The Slayers and I'm getting kicked hard in the testicles right now. You're welcome
Sandman9000 Posted November 1, 2003 Report Posted November 1, 2003 How the fuck is DAVID WESLEY throwing down 20+ a night? HOW?
Cartman Posted November 1, 2003 Report Posted November 1, 2003 It's not exactly THAT suprising since he has averaged 17 PPG 3 years of his career and always hung in the mid-teens scoring. With Mashburn out he's the only real scorer besides Davis.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted November 1, 2003 Report Posted November 1, 2003 I'm the rapists and yes, half my team is on IR. *dies*
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 2, 2003 Author Report Posted November 2, 2003 Few things I've learned in week 1. TJ Ford is an assist monster but he can't score worth a lick. I'll take the assists though since Baron Davis is the more complete PG. Juwan Howard has pulled down a ton of rebounds, a bonus since I picked him up more for his scoring. Lorenzen Wright probably isn't a viable backup Center... Currently Im winning 7-1, but after tonight I don't have any more players, and Pocono only has Karl Malone.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted November 2, 2003 Report Posted November 2, 2003 Don't forget I have Allen Iverson and Kenny Thomas yet to play tonight.
razazteca Posted November 2, 2003 Report Posted November 2, 2003 Nesterovic finally scores double digits.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 2, 2003 Author Report Posted November 2, 2003 its 6-2 now, but Im only up 2 assists..Im probably gonna go 5-3.. Iverson's not doing that well.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted November 2, 2003 Report Posted November 2, 2003 Iverson needs 1 more 3 to tie that catagory.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 2, 2003 Author Report Posted November 2, 2003 (edited) Im up 5-3, and it looks pretty good to stay that way. LOL, I forgot to put Butler on the IL, thus allowing me to carry an extra player as long as butler is on the IL. Calbert Cheaney had a decent night tonight..lets see how he does tomorrow night. I might be able to wrestle that assists category back being down only 1. Edited November 2, 2003 by MarvinisaLunatic
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted November 2, 2003 Report Posted November 2, 2003 I don't know. Its reasonable to think Malone may drop 9 free throws, in which case the game is tied.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted November 2, 2003 Report Posted November 2, 2003 I was wondering why you hadn't done anything. You probably noticed my Devean George pickup, although it cost me Keon Clark. This is one loose end the rules should've tied up. We really shouldn't be able to make roster changes mid-week. (by changes I mean adding/dropping players, and trades)
Cartman Posted November 2, 2003 Report Posted November 2, 2003 Well picking up, dropping, and trading players is all part of the risk and strategy. You can pick up and drop players to get more points all week long, but you run the risk of losing certain players. I do see your point though.
