Popular Songs for WWE Stars

Recommended Posts

OK, just got home from work (grave shift) and on the way home, a thought occurred to me.

What songs would some wrestlers have if they could do like ECW and use popular songs for their themes.

So, this thread begins.

Pick a wrestler (or wrestlers) and give a popular song for the theme. Even wrestlers with popular songs as the theme (like Edge with "Never Gonna Stop") can get picked for new songs.

Oh, and if you have songs that you think would fit a wrestler, but don't know which one, post it here and others can try to fit it in.

I'll start the ball rolling with one Raw guy, one Smackdown guy, and one stable for themes...plus a theme I think would be good for a wrestler.

Kane - "A Violent Reaction" by American Head Charge

Kurt Angle - "Gonna Fly Now" (the Rocky Movie Theme...you know it.)

Evolution - "Princes of the Universe" by Queen

and the theme I think would be neat to hear in WWE for a guy...

"TNT" by AC/DC

I'd love to see someone like Jericho come out to Pantera's "Becoming." The guitars in that song are so F'N loud in an arena it's scary.

The FBI - Ditch the cheap rip-off and use "No Sleep 'Till Brooklyn" by the Beastie Boys

Spanky - Just for the hell of it, I'd love to have his theme be "Genie in a Bottle" by Christina Aguilera again.

Hmm...for the hell of it...you can also suggest guys that were around in WWF/E before...

Too Cool - "Here Come The Hotstepper" (yeah, I know Public Enemy used it in ECW. :P)

Dude Love - "Magic Carpet Ride" by Steppenwolf

Undertaker - Cemetary Gates (Pantera)

Heh...either that or "For Whom The Bell Tolls"

Good call, that one would be great for Mankind too (although I really liked the music he did have)

Ken Shamrock - Angry Again (Megadeth)

For some reason I would like to hear "Poundcake" whenever Vince and Steph are in the ring together.

Randy Orton or Ric Flair- "Inside" by Van Halen

Now listen here. It's not what you are, ya see, it's how ya dress

'Cuz that's one thing I learned from these guys, I must confess

Now me look, I got this job not just bein' myself, huh!

I went out I bought some brand new shoes

Now I walk like someone else, hey!

Maybe I'm crazy or just too high

But all this here can't be worth my piece of the pie

Ric Flair should be coming out to Cococabana by Barry Manilow since his robe and walk work perfect for it.

And Randy Orton should just come out to "Dogs barking Jingle Bells"

Charlie and Russ Haas used to have a cover of "TNT" as their theme music during their indy days.

For no real reason that we can remember whenever anybody plays as The Big Show in any game, we play that song "Tiny Dancer". We've pretty much done this since No Mercy and it cracks everyone up every damn time.

Triple H: Flashdance...What A Feeling

Kurt Angle: Karma Chameleon

Chris Benoit: Come On Eileen

Undertaker: Material Girl

Brock Lesnar: Total Eclipse Of The Heart

Kane: Waterloo

Rob Van Dam: Raspberry Beret.

I think those songs would really suit these wrestlers well.
