kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2003 Games at New York and San Fran seem to be the most up-in-the-air. I'm surprised Denver/KC didn't have more disagreement. I got a feeling this is the week where the 1-3 teams better shape up or ship out (present company included). Oh, for the record, the game that I had a last-minute switch in my pick was Det. @ San Fran. I had the Lions, then jumped sides -- this will probably be the game that does me in this week. Anyway, after each matchup below I added a few lines so people can keep track of what teams they REALLY should be cheering for. If you find something wrong, let me know. The "=" line contains games that both people agreed upon. The line after that are the teams that the away player needs to have win -- the home player can figure out which teams he needs to cheer for. And on that note: Will tpww7, Linx, CChris and Flyboy pull ahead with 4-1 records? Will nl5xsk1, Choken One, kkk, cartman, Spiff and Vern sink even deeper with 1-4 records? Will Bravesfan ever submit picks again? Talk amongst yourselves... Guest Choken One Report post Posted October 5, 2003 My record doesn't indicate my ability...I got POTENTIAL...3 out of 4 weeks I hit double digits but the one win was a fucking 8... Today feels like a 8 winner again but at least my challenger is about equal with me...
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2003 I'm relying on Green Bay and San Francisco...oy. I have a good feeling about GB but I'm worried bout SF

MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2003 I changed my pick in the San Diego/Jax game last night from tie to the Chargers, so we differ in that game as well. And taking Denver vs KC was a stretch, but it might pay off.
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2003 Yuck, i'm relying on Washington and NYG to get me the win? I have pretty much no confidence in those picks, i was almost tempted to change both of them.
Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2003 Hm... Wow. Me and KKK are like total opposites here. We've got the most disagreements out of any matchup. Oh wait, we're tied with someone else on most matchup disagreements. But ours our more monumental.

Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2003 Minnesota Vikings (razazteca 2-2) @ Atlanta Falcons (Lightning Flik 2-2) = Min, Buf, Oak, Dal, Sea, Ten, Pit, TB Away team needs: NO, KC, NY, SD, Phi, Det UPDATED (From NFL's Ticker, not how the games actually are): Miami vs. New York With the visitors up late in this game, it's apparent that Atlanta gets the first point. You never know but for now (0-1). Tennesse vs. New England A tight game, but with both pickers taking Tennese, unless the Titans score, no points to either team. (0-1) Denver vs. Kansas City Only a field goal seperates this tight game. KC with lead though. (1-1) Seattle vs. Green Bay Both teams choose the wrong pick. (1-1) Arizona vs. Dallas Was this even a choice? Both teams score. (2-2) Oakland vs. Chicago The home team leads in this one. Amazingly... Both teams don't score. (2-2) New Orleans vs. Carolina This is only seperated by a TD and point thereafter. However Carolina leads and thusly, (2-3) Cincinnatti vs. Buffalo Buffalo losing by a field goal. Neither team scores (2-3) Minnasota vs. Atlanta I've lost faith in my team, but they got me another point. If they don't score, I'll only be out by 5 points on my tiebreaker. Both teams here score (3-4) With four games pending and unless Atlanta gets 3 more correct picks or Minnasota gets 4 more correct picks (and assuming that those chosen hold up), then one of these two teams will be the first sub .500 winner. Games that still have impacts on the winning results: Detroit vs. San Fransico Washington vs. Philly
Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2003 Holy shit... Um... raza and I have the same amount of point difference on our tiebreaker. Does that mean we tie if we tie in picks???

Just John 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2003 Yes!!! Wins by the Bears and Dolphins put me in the win column. Now I can cheer for the 49ers, even though I picked against them.
kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2003 I looked at the final score, and yes Flik, if you and Raz have an equal amount of correct picks, you would win via tiebreaker. OK -- I'm going grocery shopping now. SF is up 10-0 in the second quarter. You bitches better hold on to this win or there will be hell to pay. Come on T.O. -- show up you ex-coach, the man responsible for all your team's troubles this year...

Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2003 Well it turns out i picked Miami, not the Giants, so i've got 8/12 right so far, which seems to be a decent amount this week. And if my calculations are correct, nl5xsk1 has 8 right as well, and with both of us picking the Steelers and Bucs i believe i win on the tiebreaker. If so, 4-1 baby~!
