Guest JacK Report post Posted October 17, 2003 NWA World Heavyweight Championship Match Champion AJ Styles -vs- Jeff Jarrett The return match that has been months in the making finally takes place this Wednesday night only on Pay-Per-View! Two of TNA's top superstars will finally meet once more for the gold, amidst the controversy involving Hulk Hogan! In this epic rivalry that has gone on since June, who will emerge in the end as the winner and champion? Tune in this Wednesday and find out! X Division Title Match Champion Michael Shane -vs- Fallen Angel -vs- Chris Sabin Thus far in his X Divison Title reign, Michael Shane has beat all challengers - but this Wednesday, he'll have to deal with two X superstars at once! Triple threat rules will be in effect, and the first man to score the pin walks out with the gold. NWA Tag Team Title Match Champions Simon Diamond and Johnny Swinger -vs- Roadkill and Danny Doring TNA newcomers and fan favorites Danny Doring and Roadkill made a huge debut this past Wednesday, beating the NWA Tag Team Champs thanks to a little help from America's Most Wanted. Following the match - Gilberti and crew wanted payback, so the return match was made for this Wednesday! Only this time, the gold will be on the line! America's Most Wanted -vs- A Mystery Team Gilberti, Simon and Swinger also threw out a challenge to AMW this past week ; AMW's response? BRING IT ON! Apparently, the manager of the tag champs has lined up a mystery team to take on Harris and Storm this week. Determined to begin their road back to the gold, AMW say they will go through ANYONE Gilberti puts in their way! Raven -vs- Slash Of The New Church This match was supposed to take place this past Wednesday, but the huge brawl at the top of the show put Raven on the sideline with an injury. Hellbent on continuing his mission to take down Mitchell, Raven takes one step closer this week on Pay-Per-View against the cornerstone of the Church, Slash! Plus- More On The Hulk Hogan Situation! The entire world saw the shocking footage this past week of Jeff Jarrett attacking the immortal Hulk Hogan in Japan! After hearing from the legendary "Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart this past week, could the Immortal One make his presence felt this Wednesday on Pay-Per-View? Tune in and find out! Also - More On The November 30th Mega Event! This coming Wednesday on TNA, we'll have more information on the huge three-hour, November 30 "Bound For Glory" Pay-Per-View! As we learned this past Wednesday, TNA officials are already in talks with several major international wrestling promotions to feature their superstars on the show! Seems like a cool show. Hopefully, ~MIKE SANDERS!~ will be part of the mystery tag team . . . for once that'd make sense, what with his past assosciation with Gilberti. Raven and Slash would be good if it's given heaps of time, for some reason I seem to enjoy Slash-matchs. I think it's the whole eye-thing. That reeks of awesomeness right there. Does anyone know if this week is the one we get in Australia? I suspect it isn't, but I can only but hope.
Guest SEX Report post Posted October 17, 2003 we certainly do get this episode in Aus.
Guest The Son of Sting Report post Posted October 17, 2003 The mystey tag will proberly be The Naturals (Andy Douglas +Chase Stevens). They have been having good matches on Xplosion.
Guest The Real Nosferatu Report post Posted October 17, 2003 Wasn't Stevens 1/2 of the Hot Shots? And Mike Sanders isn't coming back to TNA from what I heard so I don't expect him.
Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted October 17, 2003 Just because the card does look good I'm sure the mistery tag team will be the Harris Bros.
The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2003 I'm sure the mystery team will be the Naturals since they've been having killer matches all over lately. That's ultra pessimistic dynamite...when't the last time the Harris brother either HAD or WON a match?
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2003 They probably had something on Xplosion. Don returned to his Head of Security schtick, anyway...
BoboBrazil 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2003 Don Harris got a huge pop coming out on this last show. You would think he was the #1 face by the pop he got...
The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2003 That because the stupid redshirt vs. blackshirt storyline was actually handled halfway well and everyone got over. Which sucks...because I don't want to see the matches.
BoboBrazil 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2003 I like Kevin Northcutt. He has some really impressive power moves. The other guy just looks really goofy. I'm surprised WWE hasn't signed Northcutt since I doubt he was given a 2 year deal. I wouldn't have a problem with Northcutt getting a singles push with TNA.
Astro101 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2003 I have to reserve judgement on if the Redshirts can wrestle. They look huge and have great power moves, but you can't really tell if they're good enough with them against two smaller guys and Erik Watts.
Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted October 17, 2003 I'm sure the mystery team will be the Naturals since they've been having killer matches all over lately. That's ultra pessimistic dynamite...when't the last time the Harris brother either HAD or WON a match? Dude, mellow out, I was joking. I HOPE they have an awesome team come in. Sorry, I'm extremely sarcastic. I WANT TNA to succeed and I really liked this weeks show too.
Styles 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2003 Great show lined up. I loved this week and next week should be great too, TNA is back on a roll. Oh, and Jack, Im convinced you ARE Mike Sanders. You mention him in every single thread it seems. No one likes him. He was an obnoxious windbag that wasn't that good, and only got a job because his friends were in power and no one wants him back....sorry if you are Mike though. Jack_Bauer 0 Report post Posted October 19, 2003 Aj Styles v Jeff Jarrett, X Title and Tag Title matches ALL have potential I reckon.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins 0 Report post Posted October 19, 2003 How has the AJ/Jarrett feud been built? Jarrett has gone over AJ everytime he has been in the ring with him. Russo has had more offense in on Jarrett then AJ.
LucharesuFan619 0 Report post Posted October 19, 2003 Just because the card does look good I'm sure the mistery tag team will be the Harris Bros. Ron Harris is gone from TNA. He's joining the bandwagon of Randy Savage as Savage's agent-type guy for his new rap music career. No joke, even though it may sound like one. I swear. Guest JacK Report post Posted October 19, 2003 Oh, and Jack, Im convinced you ARE Mike Sanders. No . . . I'm not Sanders, I just loved that whole 'Hey' thing he did. Mostly I bring it up just to see if I can legitamatly connect it to something. He was funny! A little bit of comedy is always good! And we get this in Australia??? YES! Pity my final year high school MAJOR EXTERNAL EXAMS start in - 13 hours 12 minutes . . . so I won't get to see it four around 4 weeks, by that time I'll be so far behind it'll take me weeks to catch back up. Which will mean I'm behind again, and then I'll have to catch back up again!
tommytomlin 0 Report post Posted October 19, 2003 Jack, I did the HSC last year. If you can't spare two hours to watch TNA, then you're studying WAAAAYYYYY too much.
Guest JacK Report post Posted October 20, 2003 Well, truth be told, I'm not studying at all, it's just that I watch it with my friend, because he's got PayTV and I don't, and it usually takes up a day and stuff, and it's right in the middle of his exams (mine are spread out, no more than 2 in a week). tommytomlin 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2003 Ooooh OK. I thought you were one of those study-all-the-time-and-then-have-a-nervous-breakdown-by-the-end-of-the-exams wackos
Guest jpclemmons Report post Posted October 20, 2003 "above average" Mike Sanders was the man back in WCW. I wonder why Jarrett got rid of him?
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2003 Because he's a prick backstage and sucked in the ring.
Guest jpclemmons Report post Posted October 21, 2003 Because he's a prick backstage and sucked in the ring. Because he's a prick backstage and sucked in the ring. but Sanders had some great mic skills back in his WCW days.
The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2003 I think he's great on the mic. I would love to see him or Disco as a commentator...and I don't like either of them. Disco especially cracks me up on commentary. Tenay: "Why haven't you given AMW a return match" Gilberti: Because they are too stupid and have no manager. They don't understand CONTRACTS they just assumed they were going to win every night. GOLD!
BoboBrazil 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2003 I was a big fan of Mike Sanders in WCW, but he sucked ass in TNA. I'm glad he is gone.
Astro101 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2003 Gilberti as commentator is good. For some reason, I cracked up when he said that Don West's shirt was purple. West: It's royal blue by the way.
syxx2001 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2003 TNA needs some big men. Not everyone needs to be spot machines (DID I JUST SAY THAT?) and topsy turvy mat tumblers. The average PERSON, not fan, is more likely to watch a match with Abyss and Northcutt beating on each other than Daniels and Styles exchanging leg bar submissions. Guest Devin Report post Posted October 21, 2003 TNA needs some big men. The average fan doesn't pay ten bucks a week to watch wrestling either. There's no reason for them to promote their product to an audience that won't be watching. It's bad enough when the wwe ignores the wrestling fans on free t.v., in hopes of bringing back the fans who watched when it was the "in thing" to do. It would be much, much stupider for TNA to try cater to those fans, when there's no way they'll be spending money to watch wrestling.
Guest TheGame2705 Report post Posted October 21, 2003 Hmmm this show sounds good. I may split the show with my friend and get a cable box to watch this and 11/30.
Guest JacK Report post Posted October 21, 2003 (edited) Wow . . . that Gilberti stuff IS gold. Hopefully he'll do some more commentary this week! Hell, he can commentate TWO matchs, with AMW - 'whoever' and Diamond/Swinger - 'What's their faces'; although I suspect he'll keep it in small doses so he doesn't run out of material. Kid Kash -vs- TNA Newcomer Sonjay Dutt Fans of the high-flying X division style will be in for a tremendous match this Wednesday as Kid Kash meets newcomer Sonjay Dutt, who amazed everyone in his TNA debut last week. On the other hand, Kash is still fuming after the loss he suffered to Abyss, and is surely going to try and make an example out of Dutt. Siaki, Ekmo And Legend -vs- 3 Live Kru TNA will feature six-man action this Wednesday night as the massive Samoan hit squad of Siaki and Ekmo team with Legend to face Konnan, The Truth and BG James. Wow, cool, Sonjay Dutt! Now I can see if he's as good as everyone says. And I always liked Jamal, something about a big fat guy jumping and squashing little skinny guys looked pretty cool, though 3LK aren't too small though.
