Dangerous A Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 The Anthony Carter issue is moot. Tony Parker is expected back in the lineup by Saturday. Carter is a veteran backup point guard and will back up Parker competently. However, he will be eaten alive tonight by Marbury. Bank on that.
razazteca Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 Well I wonder if Mercer and Turkolu will get alot of game time or will it be Malik Rose getting most of the time as the main bench player.
HarleyQuinn Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 I wouldn't be surprised to see Rose get most of the time as he's proven to be an unbelievably solid 6th Man
razazteca Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 I just hope the Spurs do not have TWO~ Steve Smiths sitting on the bench.
HarleyQuinn Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 Go Marion! I need a big game from you for my fantasy team
razazteca Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 The game is on TNT.......I wonder who will be going fishing tonight
alfdogg Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 T on Popovich. Anthony Carter is BRUTAL. And not in a good way.
Cartman Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 Marbury!!! Absolutely on FIRE right now. Spurs are looking really sad...
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 Good night for the Sixers. I've got the game thanks to Comcast.
Rob E Dangerously Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 some questions on the NBA #1- can you sign players who weren't drafted as 'free agents'? #2- do the NBA teams have official farm leagues that they can get talent from (maybe in mid-season, if they have to) #3- How long has the draft been 2 rounds?
Guest FrigidSoul Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 Go Marion! I need a big game from you for my fantasy team I have a couple fantasy players in the Mavs/Lakers game Walker and Malone I would have had Glenn Robinson playing tonight in the 76er's game but his dumb ass got suspended
Kurt Angle Mark Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 some questions on the NBA #1- can you sign players who weren't drafted as 'free agents'? #2- do the NBA teams have official farm leagues that they can get talent from (maybe in mid-season, if they have to) #3- How long has the draft been 2 rounds? 1. Yes 2. No 3. Have no idea
razazteca Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 Well there is the CBA as it works sort of like a minor league.
the pinjockey Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 If John Salmons, of the Sixers, ever get 35 minutes a game, he is going to be a stud.
razazteca Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 Spurs win at the final second 83-82!
Kurt Angle Mark Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 Spurs steal one, win 83-82 after leading the game for a total of 46 seconds
razazteca Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 Nash Finley Walker Fortson Nowinski to start for Mavs.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 I would have had Glenn Robinson playing tonight in the 76er's game but his dumb ass got suspended That suspension's been known about for months now. Its the hazards of drafting him. #2- do the NBA teams have official farm leagues that they can get talent from (maybe in mid-season, if they have to) Basketball does have the NBDL. Its sort of a minor league, except players aren't attached to a big club. If John Salmons, of the Sixers, ever get 35 minutes a game, he is going to be a stud. With Snow, McKie, and AI, the Sixers suddenly have depth at guard.
razazteca Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 How are the forwards and Centers for the 76ers?
the pinjockey Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 Decent enough for the Eastern Conference.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 The Mavs jerseys suck, and their offense isn't exactly doing that well either.
razazteca Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 All of the NBAs nuuuuuu jerseys suck
Kurt Angle Mark Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 All of the NBAs nuuuuuu jerseys suck tell me about it The only new jersey I have liked since last year are the Clippers blue one that say Los Angeles across their chest.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 Gee, wheres the "We dare you to try and outscore us" offense that the Mavs supposedly had?
AlwaysPissedOff Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 Battier is a SF, Kobe is a SG Well, that's odd... Yahoo has him as a SG, not a SF.
AlwaysPissedOff Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 IT'S LUKE WALTON!!!!! :::: praises Jeebus that Bill isn't calling this game :::::
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 I miss Dirk's wild long flowing hair...
