Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2003 Here are the news and notes from the brand new Observer. I encourage everyone to try to get this issue, as it is the one that reflects on Stu Hart and Road Warrior Hawk. -Rock's participation in Mania just dwindled even more as he's being pursued by MGM to play the lead role in the movie "Be Cool", a follow up on "Get Shorty" that will start John Travolta. The movie starts filming in January and Rock's role would be that of a bodyguard and singer who is gay and wins lots of fights. If he takes this one, that'll be five projects in a row with no down time. -HHH was a big hit in the movie "Blade:Trinity". According to a source on the set, everyone loved working with him because of his work ethic and how hard he's studying the acting world. He spends his free time asking questions, watching and observing. The other stars and director were so impressed with how hard he's working they are extending the scene where he is killed ina a fight and his character is givent more focus in the movie. New line Cinema is looking at him for more roles in the future. -Road Warrior Animal is already being contacted to do Confidential. -Nash vs Goldberg was scrapped and replaced with Bautista vs Goldberg.Nash is scheduled to have surgery with Dr. Jho, the same doctor who operated on Kurt Angle. -Spike Dudley is out of action with a bad back and neck. He's experiencing numbness in his arms, which is not good. -Even though there has been a slight turnaround in quality on Raw the last 2 weeks, it may be because there has been more encouragement of the agents to speak up at the production meetings. Both HHH and Michaels were at the production meetings making changes in the show. The 10/20 show that aired was very different from what was scripted. -Snicker's Cruncher, YJ Stinger, and Subway have all signed on as official sponsers of WMXX. -There are plans for at least a house show program with Lesnar vs Benoit. Thoughts? Comments? Feelings?

I just don't see him having the same appeal as the Rock though. -Spike Dudley is out of action with a bad back and neck. He's experiencing numbness in his arms, which is not good. Greeeeat. Another neck injury. What would this be? 7? 8? 9?

What would this be? 7? 8? 9? Spike is a "special" case, it's just a matter of time before he's hurt really bad with the way that he puts his body on the line just about every time he's out there. He has no business being in Pro. Wrestling, since all the guy can do is get destroyed. I really think he should get out, because before it's all said and done he's going to get screwed up big time. He works hard when he wants something.
Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2003 Was it wrong that I actually imagined Jericho trash talking a ring bell? Nah. I did. Thought it would be funny as hell. Of course, WWE would want the Ring Bell to get its heat back and thusly it would have to destroy Jericho in a Bell Shot Match. You know who's going to win it. RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2003 Yeah, Chris Jericho - WWE Superstar - vs. The Ring Bell - WWE Ring Bell. *Ding* *Ding* *Ding* It's a testiment to Jericho's carrying abilities, and a knock against the WWE for having Batista vs. Goldberg as a secondary main event, while Jericho does dick all in the mid card. No Jericho does one thing in the Midcard. He carries it. As on Raw, he's the only fucking person who can give it any semblence.

Yeah but you don't need to act to be an action star. That's a boon for HHH right there.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Report post Posted October 25, 2003 I respect that Triple H is making an effort on the movie ste to better himself as an actor. I'd really be confused if he tried to act like a tough guy because he was a top-tier wrestler. I'll wish him all the luck in the world if his acting career is a success, that said, he'll never be as big as The Rock....which'll drive him bonkers. Going for the swerve I see. + it makes absolutely no sense (WWE logic) for the Ring Hammer to run in. + the Ring Hammer of course then would be in line for the World Title and once he wins it, of course the Ring Bell MUST HAVE HIS REVENGE AND THE TITLE~! ...geez, I could so see that happening. Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2003 I expect HHH's acting career will last a couple years going downwards. It'll end when he's cast as the stalker/killer in "Scary Movie 4" with his trademark promo skills: "Who is this?" "DO YOU LIKE MOVIESUHHHH?" "You again. You're gonna make me call the police. I'll have them trace you!" "I'M GOING TO KILL YOU, AND YOU DON'T KNOW WHO I AMUHHHH" "Who are you?" "I AM THE GAAAAAMEUHHHH..... Oh, wait a minute.. Shit."
