Guest Hutch Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 709: Christian Rock Hard Cartman, Butters and Token rocket to the top of the Christian rock charts with their own messages of faith in an all-new episode, entitled "Christian Rock Hard." When the other boys kick Cartman out of their band, Cartman pulls his own group together to make music for Jesus. Meanwhile, Stan, Kyle and Kenny are arrested for downloading music from the Internet.
Mecha Mummy Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 Butters and Token! Awesome! Now I'm TOTALLY tuning in tonight.
the max Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 Oh this is going to be good. South Park tackles internet music piracy.
Guest Dmann2000 Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 Thank God they replay South Park at 12AM, I just know this ep is going to be funny...
Nevermortal Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 Thank God they replay South Park at 12AM, I just know this ep is going to be funny... I don't think there's ever been an episode that wasn't funny. Well, maybe the shitty Pip episode.
Garth Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 I'm so glad i started watching South Park again. I kinda just stopped watching at the end of season 2 as i wasn't finding it so funny anymore, but i started downloading some episodes fromn season 3 and they're awesome.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 I don't think there's ever been an episode that wasn't funny. Well, maybe the shitty Pip episode. I find the Mecha-Streisand episode to be annoying, I just never liked it I still haven't seen that episode devoted entirely to Pip
JasonX Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 Oh this is going to be good. South Park tackles internet music piracy. Want to bet P&S take the side of the RIAA? I mean they already have proclaimed their total and complete devotion to right wing republicans so I wouldn't be suprised to see them support the RIAA.........
Guest FrigidSoul Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 Token's family having a bass and him being able to play the bass due to just being black is great
Guest FrigidSoul Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 that ending with Butters was fucking comedic gold
Guest El Satanico Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 Comedy Central is going to be receiving alot of letters Thursday. Between Cartman calling token a black bastard and screaming fuck jesus, there's going to be some pissed off people.
Mecha Mummy Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 The Faith +1 songs were all gay! Um, they were SUPPOSED to be, dude... (Oh, and I take it Hutch was Eagan after all?)
Nevermortal Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 "I wanna get down on my knees and please you Jesus, get your love all over my face." Gold.

I mean they already have proclaimed their total and complete devotion to right wing republicans so I wouldn't be suprised to see them support the RIAA......... When did they do this? Great show. Only complaint is that I wish they would have made a point regarding the fact that music swapping IS stealing, but they only have a half-hour timeslot to work with. (Loved the fact that Stan, Kyle and Kenny were busted for stealing music, yet Faith +1 was using other songs and putting in the word "Jesus" in it. If he wasn't killed off, I wish Jesus would have made an appearance...)

razazteca Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 "I wanna get down on my knees and please you Jesus, get your love all over my face." Gold. All of the songs were just like that.
Gert T Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 The whole informercial for Faith +1 was great.
Guest EQ Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 I find the Mecha-Streisand episode to be annoying, I just never liked it I thought that episode was really crappy too. Glad to see someone agrees. Anyway, tonight's episode was really funny. I liked it better than last week. I got annoyed at the whole "crab people" thing, I thought that was dumb. Cartman was pure gold this episode. Judging by the preview for next week (old people attack or something like that) I don't think I'll like it as much, but I guess we'll see.
Guest Just J Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 This episode moved into my personal top 3. It was fucking hilarious. "Fuck Jesus!"
Renegade Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 Butters: "...Fuck you Eric..." That was the highlight.
the pinjockey Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 The last minute of the episode was the funniest thing I have ever seen. I was dying for a good 5 minutes. This gives me good hope for this part season. It seems the first couple eps usually struggle before finding the flow. But I liked last week, loved this week, and next week looks like gold.
Mecha Mummy Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 Token beating the crap out of Cartman was great. I collapsed laughing at it.
Nevermortal Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 Token beating the crap out of Cartman was great. I collapsed laughing at it. "I will kill you someday, Token." "What'd you say?" "Nothing."
Guest EQ Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 Token beating the crap out of Cartman was great. I collapsed laughing at it. This was the only way they could justify having Cartman call him a "black asshole" the entire episode
Ravenbomb Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 I wanna tape that episode and watch it 24/7 Cartman wanting Jesus' love all over his face is the best thing ever, the whole end of the episode was genius
Ravenbomb Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 he was never dead. They had this whole big episode that ended in a big Ice Cream Orgy, and Stan woke up, having had another bizzare dream, but this time it encluded the whole season or so that Kenny was dead.
