OldSchoolWrestling 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2003 Follow to story that Matt Hardy wasn't at SmackDown! this week... It was reported earlier today that Matt Hardy wasn't at last night's SmackDown! tapings, or this weekend's house shows. A rumor circulating is that Matt Hardy, Vee One-uhhhhhhh may be jumping to RAW in the near future, as he hasn't been involved in storylines since his loss to Zach Gowen at No Mercy. In related news, Matt was backstage at RAW this Monday, visiting with Lita, as was brother Jeff Hardy. Jeff is still working on his music career, only having appeared on indie promotions a handful of times since he left RAW earlier this year. At least if he's stuck in the midcard on SD, he can have good->great matches w/ most of the roster. On Raw, there's only a handful of guys with which he could have good matches. He was the "King of Heat" cause they couldn't have two Hardyz on the same show as singles stars, it would be "confusing". Matt turns, jumps to Smackdown, becomes a success. Well, we'd not only remember Matt for jobbing to a one-legged sideshow who can't wrestle well, but we'll also remember him for jobbing to a one-legged sideshow, a past-his-prime washed-up legend who only had one good match with Jericho at Wrestlemania this year, AND green rookies (or veterans who still wrestle like rookies) who either use basic power offense or dropkicks galore. Don't know more details, but there are storyline possibilities with Christian and Lita (well, that's what I would think, so I hear they are doing something not even close).
