Guest Coffey Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Damn. Was he even thirty years old yet? It couldn't have been natural causes....

Ultimo Dugas Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 This really sucks, he was too young to die.

Guest JacK Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 (edited) WHAT? Fuck, WHAT? How the hell can that happen? What's the deal? He wasn't like old? What. That sucks, he was cool. He's like the first wrestler I've actually seen who died; or at least that I know about; dude, that sucks. Edit: 34 he was, dude that sucks. And that thingy I just read, I hope that's not true, that's not a pleasant way to die. God that sucks. Edited November 7, 2003 by JacK
Astro101 Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Totally sucks. Came out of left field.
Guest T0rrent Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Damn, this comes as a huge shock. I loved the skits he did with MSP with the 24/7 Hardcore title rules.
Guest Deviant Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 I loved Crash/Mad Mikey in just about every role he's had. He was always a source of entertainment to me, whether it was brawling through the Fun Time USA kids park pulling off a rana from a flying fox or crawling through his car window to beat the crap out of a drive through worker. He provided the wrestling world with a hell of a lot of good memories, and I'll definately miss him.
SamoaRowe Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 I'm deeply saddened by the loss of Michael Lockwood. I will always be grateful for the two times I saw in live. Last November I saw him lose to Tajiri at a Velocity taping and just back in April I saw Crash beat Jamie Noble at another Velocity taping. He was an underrated talent and has left us with some of the funniest and most unique moments in wrestling history. He'll always hold a special place in my heart for stopping that Brisco/Patterson evening gown match at KOTR 2000. R.I.P. Crash
Zack Malibu Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Holy shit, this wasn't the news I expected to see when I entered this folder. Crash/Mikey was always entertaining, and you could always count on him as being a good hand in the ring. I never went out of my way to make a Crash Holly comp or anything, but enjoyed his work enough, and thought he'd break out as a cult favorite in TNA, either solo or in his short-lived team with Shark Boy, which seemed like comic gold. This is really a shock, and a sad situation overall.
BUTT Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 I can't believe he died so young. He was always entertaining, especially when he was Hardcore champion. My favorite memory of him would have to be his first appearance, when Hardcore introduced him as his partner for Summerslam and they immediately started fighting. I never got to see him in TNA, but I hear some of his stuff was really funny. Does anyone have a clip of the famous "Mad Mikey" skit where he smashes the computer and stuff like that? I never got a chance to see it, but hearing this news had suddenly made me want to.
