Who is more hardcore Mick Foley or Nick Mondo?

 

I personly think Mondo is more hardcore but Mick can still draw you into a match and is still extremly crazy. I like both though.

I haven't seen or heard enough of Nick Mondo to really know. Foley is an all-time favorite of mine though, so he gets my vote by default.

Foley. Foley was hardcore for 15 years. Mondo was hardcore for 4 years. Foley's passion is what is so hardcore about it. Mondo is crazy, not hardcore. Foley killed himself night in and night out. I like both, but Foley easily.

comparing the two is just wrong IMO. I respect both of them but the amount of people that saw Mondo's crazy stuff to the people who know about Foley makes Mondo stupid for doing such crazy shit in front of small crowds. I'll say Mondo is more hardcore but more stupid for some of the insane shit he does. I respect Foley more though.

I havent seen enough of Mondo, but IMO there is no one more hardcore than Mick Foley.

Mick Foley. He has had so many injuries from so many crazy stunts that he has done in professional wrestling. And some of them were accidents(i.e. the ear). Plus, he is well known the world over. I don't know this Nick Mundo.

I'm as big a Nick Mondo mark as you'll find, but without Mick Foley, Nick Mondo wouldn't be wrestling, half of the guys out there wouldn't be wrestling, XPW, CZW, those feds wouldn't exist.

True, but Foley wouldnt be wrestling if it wasnt for Snuka. I am sure Foley would of gotten famous without Funk anyways. I mean chrisma,promo skills, and can wrestle a good match. Anyways the only one that could bump like Funk that was American,was willing to do deathmatches,bump, and was famous was Foley. In the 90s it was a dream match waiting too happen.

Well, Foley is extremely proud of that match, judging from the way he praised it in his book, and with his DVD set for release sometime soon, I can see him wanting it to be on there.

They're both hardcore in different ways.

 

I don't think anyone can say that Nick Mondo isn't a crazy motherfucker, but all of his 'hrdcore' stuff coems from ultraviolent matches.

 

If you consider someone to be must hardcore if they do the most insane stuff, then I guess I'd give it to Mondo as very few have come close to the insanity of Sick Nick.

 

But, if you consider 'hardcore' to be more of the brawling, rough 'n tough stuff from the 80's/early 90's and early FMW/BJPW/IWA hey day, I guess you'd have to give it to Foley because he took a helluva lot of painful moves for a helluva long time. Gettin' smacked with a chair, diving off ring aprons onto concrete, and battlign with lots and lots of barbedwire, tacs and fire is pretty rough.

 

Mondo only jumped off of a few extremely high places, Foley did it for years.

 

Mondo has been hit with lots of lightubes and stuff (which don't really hurt, people get cut up bad from the shards), while Foley got smacked with2x4's, wood chairs and dumped on concrete. But Mondo has taken weedwhacker shots, gotten dragged through salt, bascially killed himself at one show...

 

So what I'm trying to get at is, they are both of different breeds, so it's pretty tough to say who's more hardcore.

Nick Mondo is ultra f'n violent.

 

And Jimbo, light tubes hurt. A lot.

Im not sure but I don't think Foley jumped off Balconys like mondo did for years. If he did correct me.

 

Dont get me wrong I love Mick Foley more then mondo......
