02/10 - The Best of Mick Foley

I'd like to know what's on this. I haven't seen a lot of his WCW work.

Hopefully it's not loaded with Undertaker matches...

I've heard that they can't use the ECW stuff yet because of Joey Styles.

Well, there was already a Best of Cactus Jack DvD from ECDub.

So, hopefully this will contain a lot of his WCW stuff.

(IE)the tag matches from 94, as well as his work with Sting and Vader.

i hope they put one of his tag matches against the Nasty Boys on it too with either Maxx Payne or Kevin Sullivan

Edit: Oops didn't see you said some of his tag matches from 94

Just about anything worthwhile he did in ECW is covered in the ECW comp of his stuff. I agree that more WCW material should be used, as I think his best WWF matches were already on the first Foley disc.

I would'nt mind to see a few Undertaker matches that were not already on DVD. Foley vs Vader must be on the new DVD!

Best of Angle? Will this be nothing but Angle vs Canadians (Benoit, Jericho, Edge)?

I'm sure the Angle DVD will have his No Mercy title win over Rock, and hopefully his best match with Austin from Summerslam 2001.

I'd stick the US title match with Kane from Smackdown 2001 on there myself. It's rare and better than it should have been. They could play up the fact that he's the first man to make Kane tap or somthing.

How's Joey Styles holding everything up?

They don't have the rights to use his voice.

I read somewhere that he said he'd sue if they did.

The Best of Confidential vol.2 will highly depend if there's any good extras included. Remember that vol.1 had Hart vs Michaels in Montreal and Hart vs Bulldog in Wembley, both reason enough to get the DVD. Additionally, any good report pieces from the show itself since vol.1 came out? I don't follow the show regularly so all I can recall is a good Superstar Billy Graham bit they did a few months back. Any idea what they can include here?

Best of Angle, and Best of Foley are sure bets for me, regardless of their content. Of course, if the Foley DVD has those great WCW matches with Vader, Nasty Boys, etc. that would be all the more sweeter. And with the Angle one they've got a lot of work ahead, namely the logo-blurring job they have to do with his early stuff.

The Monday Night Wars DVD sounds very interesting to say the least. If they do it right this could be tremendous. Mania DVDs are a must, I have all of them so this should be no exception. And for what it's worth, Amazon.com has Survivor Series 2003 set for release on Dec. 23, not the 16th.
