Enigma 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2003 To answer the question if Nathan Jones is the worst wrestler ever or not.... yes, he is. I have never been less impressed with any wrestler than I am of Nathan Jones. Believe it or not, the best Jones match I have seen was the dark match he had with Doug Basham when I went to Smackdown last year. It was probably close to **. Since then, I have yet to see him wrestle a match that good, in fact I think he's devolving as a worker (if that's possible). I remember Dave Meltzer writing a story a couple months ago about a man named Tom Magee. Magee was brought in to be the next WWF Champion after Hogan's 1st run was done. In the story, Meltzer said that as Magee got trained more and more, he progressively became even worse and worse. I think Nathan Jones falls under this category of actually getting worse as training goes on instead of better.

Guest The Midnight Rocking Warrior Report post Posted November 16, 2003 I used to mark out for the guy, but................Renegade. Also, Mike Shaw, Reese, but the worst of all, a man so bad that he starred in the worst superhero movie ever, and that was still better than his main-event Jeep Swensen. ( Ending on a positive outlook on these wrestlers) Renegade- Will always be in the Pwi almanac ( Hopefully) For his Tv title win Mike shaw- Ummmmm, pinned Mick Foley Jeep swensen- Batman and Robin made more money than it cost to make, and still drew more than No hold barred ( Shit, he was in that to!) Nathan Jones- Has a better wrestling record, than his shoot fighting record (0-1)
HollywoodSpikeJenkins 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2003 Nathan Jones > El Gigante, Zeus, Nailz, Ron Reese, Kurrgan, Giant Silva, and Ed Leslie Actually, Kurrgan and Giant Silva went to Mexico after their stay in WWF, and apparently fly around like cruisers now. In fact, Kurrgan apparently does a nice hurricanrana.
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2003 I heard Silva can do a pretty mean plancha myself. The only one I'd compare to Jones is maybe Zeus or Swanson. Guys like Leslie, Reese, Kurrgan and Silva could at least be carried to *+ matches. Angle couldn't even carry Jones to a * match despite trying.

Open the Muggy Gate 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2003 Actually, Mabel is wrestling right now in Memphis not to far from where I live. I have been watching him on the local show lately... and he has actually improved a little in the ring! He was able to have a (IMO... keep that in mind) two star match with Brian Lawler (that's hard enough as it is). Mabel has improved and is much better than Nathan Jones. SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2003 Mabel is, and always will be, and untalented wrestler. However, at least Mabel is capable of putting on watchable matches (** like you said before). I've actually enjoyed Mabel in tag matches here and there over the years, and I've yet to ever enjoy Nathan Jones.

AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2003 I nominate Vince Russo. I believe the original poster said not counting guys like that who have never been professionally trained and aren't supposed to be active wrestlers at all.

Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted November 18, 2003 I belive Jones could do more moves than Kamala. Am I wrong? actually less moves. I remember Kamala wrestling... After a few Chops Kicks, some Slams, and even a Flying Hip attack...He still had his Splash and the Big splash and the other splash he hit will pinning the guy on his stomach.. Jones can....um lets see....Slam... Club... and look mean. one more and he can match Hogan
Guest The Midnight Rocking Warrior Report post Posted November 18, 2003 Hey, Hogan actually puts his working boots on........... in Japan. ( Hulk Hogan, first ever IWGP champion) And I loved his April 13th, 1990 match against Hansen
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2003 Well...Kamala had his belly slapping dance. Kamala can bowl. Jones probably can't do that. He'd drop the ball on his foot, trip over the gutter, slide face first into the pins, and need the lane shut down for help to come and pull him out.
