HollywoodSpikeJenkins 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2003 With my recent placement in Algebra/Basic Trig, I figure I'm going to need a GBA SP to fill up my time while I sit and do nothing. What games should I be getting? The first two on my list as FF: Tactics, and the new Mario game.

BorneAgain 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2003 If you're into wrestling games, then Fire Pro is a must. Mario Kart: Super Circuit's pretty good. Legend of Zelda: The Four Swords. Metroid Fusion

Guest Ram Report post Posted November 18, 2003 Advanced Wars 2, it helps pass time greatly. It's pretty addictive too. I never really thought it'd be my bag, but it's awesome. Download some hacked versions from Kazaa and see what you like.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2003 King of Fighers Ex was based on the 99 game, the sequel KOF Ex 2 is a better game with decent sound and superior graphics.
Vyce 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2003 Listen to your peers, they've listed some great games. Advance Wars / Advance Wars 2 are fantastic strategy games. I'm also currently enjoying the hell out of Fire Emblem. Final Fantasy Tactics is good, as is Tactics Ogre, and if you're into RPGs the Golden Sun & Breath of Fire series is entertaining. King of Fighters EX - Howling Blood (Iori RULES) and Guilty Gear are both good fighters. For platformers, I suggest Metroid Fusion and the Castlevania games. starvenger 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2003 I just got Wario Ware, and it's a great time killer. And all the games are quick, to boot. Any good GBA (non-extreme) sports games? I'm still playing the GBC Mario Tennis and Mario Golf since I can't find anything better...
teke184 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2003 Advance Wars Advance Wars 2 Fire Emblem any Castlevania title any Tony Hawk title Metroid Granted, I'm a war strategy gamer, but I've played Advance Wars 1 and 2 through multiple times and I'm working on Fire Emblem right now. If you don't know what it is, the best things I can compare it to are Final Fantasy Tactics or Shining Force, except the party system doesn't suck ass like in FFT (limit of 5 player-controlled characters? WTF? Fire Emblem's teams are typically limited to 9-11 once you recruit that many people.)
Hoff 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2003 Pretty much everything listed is good. Your best timekiller, though, is going to be one of the following: Mario Kart Super Circuit, Super Street Fighter II Turbo Revival, possibly a Mario Advance (any, pick your poison), or, if you can get away with truly focusing on the game, Metroid Fusion. If you ask me, it's the best game for the system to date. Most of the ones mentioned in this thread are up there, though.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted November 20, 2003 Forgot Ghost N Goblins Advance, it has all three games in it that are unlockable just like Metroid has the unlockable classics.
