Episode 712: All About Mormons?

A Mormon kid moves to South Park and Stan has to kick his ass. But when Stan and his dad meet their new Mormon neighbors, they become fascinated with how genuinely nice they are. While the other boys mock Stan relentlessly for wimping out, the rest of the town become Mormons.

Sorry I couldn't post one last week, I was busy with a bunch of things.

Wow. What a great SWERVE~! ending. But shouldn't Stan already have known who Joseph Smith is? He's part of the Super Bestfriends (along with Jesus, Buddha, Sea Man, ect).

It's so funny because it's all true. That's what Mormons actually believe.

Joseph Smith really believed the garden of Eden was in fucking western Missouri.

Indeed. They have some wacky beliefs. The whole "Native Americans having their skin turned red" sounds VERY racist as well.

This was probably the best episode of SP since it came back on the air. The amazing thing about it was that it criticised the Mormon's beliefs the entire time, but then it threw THAT back into the audience's face by saying who are we to judge another person's religion if it makes themm happy. I know 95% of all Mormons will miss that point and say that South park is evil and Trey and Matt are going to hell, but still a great way to get people thinking.

And yes, that whole Native American thing is very racist, although the way early America was is isn't surprising.

Matt and Trey are VERY smart. They should write for the WWE.

...

Of course, then we'd probably have Bradshaw eating pudding...

yeah. I laughed hard during the first showing and the 11 o'clock replay. I didn't really catch the 'Dumb Dumb Dumb Dumb Dumb' stuff until the guy said 'That sounds kind of...' and then it kicked in.
