tpww7 Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 From 1wrestling. www.WWE.com has posted a story that Gail Kim suffered a broken collarbone while wrestling Trish Stratus at this past Monday's TV Taping in a match that will air this weekend on Sunday Night Heat. Kim isn't sure where in the match the injury occurred and believed it was simply a shoulder injury at first. When she finally was taken to the hospital, she was told her collarbone was broken, but it was a clean break, which will help with the healing process. Kim is expected out of the ring for about 4-6 weeks.
Slayer Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 <checks betting pool> Okay, who had four months?
Jobber of the Week Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 Bets that she injured herself? Anyone?
jester Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 Poor Gail. Since winning the women's title on her first night, it has been massively downhill for her.
Mecha Mummy Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 Hunh. Well, that limits the Women's Division even MORE.
OldSchoolWrestling Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 Hopefully they'll give Victoria more time now and keep her heel.
Slayer Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 Odds she broke it doing a 'rana - 2:1 Odds she broke it doing an armdrag - 3:2
SinToxic Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 That's what she gets for yelling "die american die!!!" ... oh wait that was mariko yoshida.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 Poor Gail. Since winning the women's title on her first night, it has been massively downhill for her. I agree. I thought for sure that they would have pushed her to at least Intercontanental Champion.
Mecha Mummy Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 Hey, at the very least RSPW will always love her for inexplicable reasons.
PsychoDriver Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 How the hell did people call her the "female Rey Mysterio" before she debuted? total letdown. Her being out will actually help the division.
Lord of The Curry Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 File this one under "nobody gives a shit."
The Mandarin Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 While I don't wish injuries on anyone (except for the time Bradshaw got hurt, I was honestly celebrating), Gail could use this time off to do some more training with Fit. Jazz could take over Gail's role as a bitch, which would be cool. Lita and Trish vs. Molly, Jazz and Victoria would be good. In the mean time, check out my revamped Wrestler of the Week. It's a masterpiece.
Guest BobBacklundRules Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 I've broken my collerbone before and it was no fun. And I only slipped and fell on my shoulder, so I'd bet it's pretty easy to break one while wrestling.
Guest StevieNightHeat Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 Gail Kim injured? why am I not surprised?
dubq Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 How the hell did people call her the "female Rey Mysterio" before she debuted? total letdown. Her being out will actually help the division. The rest of the WWE women's division isn't exactly AAA material either, y'know..
The Amazing Rando Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 I'll bet she was trying to break her leg and blew the spot.
PsychoDriver Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 How the hell did people call her the "female Rey Mysterio" before she debuted? total letdown. The rest of the WWE women's division isn't exactly AAA material either, y'know.. True, but they were never hyped as much as Gail Kim was before coming in. Everyone was expecting so much and yet got so little.
Guest Coffey Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 Hunh. Well, that limits the Women's Division even MORE. Her being out will actually help the division.
geniusMoment Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 Thank god. Finally some good news today.
Guest TheArchiteck Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 Poor Gail. Since winning the women's title on her first night, it has been massively downhill for her. I agree. I thought for sure that they would have pushed her to at least Intercontanental Champion. Really? I kinda figured she would be the sole holder of the Tag Titles.
Guest Trivia247 Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 well in this way she can go heal up rehab and go to OVW for the touch up training. Its actually strange but usually when someone gets hurt in the low cards and returns they actually get better.
Steviekick Posted November 20, 2003 Report Posted November 20, 2003 well in this way she can go heal up rehab and go to OVW for the touch up training. Its actually strange but usually when someone gets hurt in the low cards and returns they actually get better. That's what I was thinking. Maybe they'll call up Daphne or that chick from TNA.
Guest ligerbomb03 Posted November 20, 2003 Report Posted November 20, 2003 Here's an idea... instead of calling up someone, why don't they actually use Victoria on Raw? Oh yeah, it would make far too much sense.
Guest The Last Free Voice Posted November 20, 2003 Report Posted November 20, 2003 I'd love to See Alexis on RAW, but I don't see where she'd fit. She'd be a face most likely, but there's no way she'd get over with Lita and Trish as the monster faces there. And there are to many heels to have another without a face, so I really don't see that happening.
Use Your Illusion Posted November 20, 2003 Report Posted November 20, 2003 Hunh. Well, that limits the Women's Division even MORE. How? All she did was warm up the corner while Molly busted ass. She's worthless. UYI
Guest Lilly Posted November 20, 2003 Report Posted November 20, 2003 How the hell did people call her the "female Rey Mysterio" before she debuted? total letdown. Her being out will actually help the division. The rest of the WWE women's division isn't exactly AAA material either, y'know.. The Mexican wrestling that looks like circus de solie with their spotty crappy wrestling Naaa the Raw women (especially Vic, Trish, Jazz, Molly and Ivory) actually has some intensity and pscychology in their matches. As for Gail, not a big fan of hers. But I hope a speedy recovery for her, she has been slowly getting more competitent in their (as long as she's not in there with Lita)
Guest Mindless_Aggression Posted November 20, 2003 Report Posted November 20, 2003 I'd say Gail is better than the likes of Ivory and what not just because she is willing to actually bump off stuff. Her offense is absolutely horrible but she actually did take moves very well, so thats why I didn't mind her much at all, she was good for Trish and the like to bump around with their offense. I hope she comes back roided up beyond belief for no reason what so ever.
dubq Posted November 20, 2003 Report Posted November 20, 2003 How the hell did people call her the "female Rey Mysterio" before she debuted? total letdown. The rest of the WWE women's division isn't exactly AAA material either, y'know.. True, but they were never hyped as much as Gail Kim was before coming in. Everyone was expecting so much and yet got so little. I never saw WWE hype her as the female Rey Mysterio. All of THAT hype, I saw here. The only WWE hype I saw were the "coming soon" video packages..
dubq Posted November 20, 2003 Report Posted November 20, 2003 Naaa the Raw women (especially Vic, Trish, Jazz, Molly and Ivory) actually has some intensity and pscychology in their matches. WWE Women? Intensity? Psychology? That is to laugh! Get your hands on an Arison tape some day and watch it, THEN you can talk about REAL women's wrestling.
